Sometimes to make yourself feel better, you just need time with an amiga.

Well...a better día so far...waaaay better then ayer!! Max ate quite a large desayunos, there was no yakking, he was in a good mood and I had lot so of fun with him during our morning together. Phew!!

Buenos tardes and welcome to another wet day in Huatulco. Max and I lucked out with a dry but overcast morning and Bex y Max are out and about centro...in the pouring rain. Doph. They have no paraguas but do have a capa...I will have toallas ready for their return. Brrrrr.

How was our día? I had a good bed time with the lil'man and then Bex had a wacky noche. Doph. He needed lots of attention during the noche and was up for good at 530am..."Momma, I have a head ache". Doph.

I was woken up at 7am...sleep in for Poppa!!

Bex was back to bed and The Boys had a successful morning in the Palacio. Play time, video time, and a nice and big desayunos!! Score!!

It is Soriana viernes but first we had a quick bici tour around town and handed out a bunch of invites to Max's fiesta.

Home and into the camioneta verde for the 2 minuto drive to the tienda. Not a big list today, but we had a fun prowl and even grabbed some pan for Max to chow down on while we toured the aisles.

Scored on some more queso cheddar but the carne did not look so promising today. Argh.

The lluvia had started while we were shopping, but that did not stop us from having Max "accidentally" roll down the parking lot while inside the cart!! He loves it and I love his smile and laugh when it happens.

Home for leche y libros and Poppa was not involved in his siesta...just like the old days. Even with a 530am wake up, Max was in a pretty good mood and Bex managed to get him to sleep in 15 minutos!!

A good 90 minuto siesta and after that I was off to el gimnasio with a pit stop at Tony's taller to give him an invite. Tony was not in but I spent 15 minutos chatting up his Poppa, who loves to hear my stories from Canada, as well as what we experience as Canadians living in Huatulco.

And in his casa, on a shelf near the foto of the Virgen de Guadalupe, he stores the baseball cap we bought him, the one with the maple leaf on it.

Off to the gym for a lacklustre work out and then home to find Bex counting to 100. 100? I guess Max was a handful pre-comida...a 45 minuto melt down when Bex asked him to go to his room until he could come out being a positive lil'man vs one that was say "no no no" non-stop.

But get him some grub in his tummy, but do NOT help him eat, and he is a-ok. Yikes.

They were off to the mall, bought an umbrella while out, and have returned for a Lego session in the Palacio.

The lomo is in the horno...time for the fotos.

With the lil'man's appetite not 100%, I do what it takes to get him to eat. Here he is watching the tractor video on my MacBook as I feed him his fruta.

We watched a great surf video as well, and Max ate 1.5 portions of his fruta, some granola and a huevo!! Score!!

The camioneta loaded up, we are off to look for the CP trabajadores so we can give them invites to Max's fiesta.

Poppa?

CP alberca pit stop.

Headed up the rampa to the workers storage shack and I hear "Poppa, come withe me".

Three more invites dropped off and Max bolts through the mezcal plants.

Posing at the escuela.

The almost smile!!

The "Oh Poppa".

Zoom zoom to the iglesia.

Calf shot for madre.

Nice parking job Maxo!!

Grrrrrr.

HB Max!!

Doph dee do!!

Off to go visit with Polly.

Turbo mode!!

That was the last foto in this series as Max decided to look at me...and there is a rock wall coming up. Max...look out!! Phew...saved again.

From ayer at playa Mojon.

In front of our property we found the unmistakable signs that a giant tortuga that had visited.

She had laid her eggs at the base of of our walk way.

And then we spotted what had been 2 more nesting sites on our lot.

Fresh off a little adventura.

Hmmm...I always thought Max led his madre to the rocks.

Hola hola mi familia.

Max's helicoptero, with a helping hand if needed.

Yes please Momma.

This pretty much sums up the Brits old house, one of the first casas built on playa Mojon.

Can you believe someone paid $500k US for that and then just let it disintegrate?

We experienced the lowest tide in months and that left this rock exposed.

Ok, off to finish off the lomo cerdo.

Back at you post tina time.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!! Wow...the buckets and buckets of rain continue to fall and so far we have had no need for the buckets inside to catch the leaks!! The trabajadores did a good job and I only know of 2 areas that still leak...waaaay better then it used to be!!

We had a good dinner and other then losing his appetite for foods with the texture of cerdo lomo and steak (huh?), Max had a big dinner of his own. Lots of arroz (hello!!), jitomate, broccoli, elote dorado, papas y pollo snacks to replace the cerdo snacks.

And then some yogurt to finish it off. Phew. A pretty good desayunos, a big lunch and now a big dinner...it all leaves us confused as to how his belly really feels.

No "business" to check, so we will wait and see how mañana looks before taking the next course of action. If he does have a stomach bug, we have the meds for it, but would rather wait to make sure before we give him anything.

His tos is slightly better and we have a runny nose now...what is next. But over all we can say he is a trooper and other then a few melt downs, Max puts up with all the issues. Phew.

Due to the lluvia, there were no post cena excursions, so we extended video time and Play Doh time before heading into tina time. Poppa washed his lil'man's hair and then passed off the package to his madre.

Finished the clean up and with tina time over, it is leche y libros time...to be quickly followed by bed time. Buen suerte!!

Mañana? If it is raining in the morning, the boys are headed to La Bocana. We will take the beach sombrilla for rain protection and we will roam the playa and look at the olas grande. Dry clothes in the car and maybe we stop for a hot coco!!

Race domingo...4 more drivers will say adios to The Chase...oooooooh.

Have a great fin de semana y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
