Buenos tardes!!

Welcome to a mainly overcast, yet still very warm, día.

Currently 455pm and the familia is out for a dual bici tour, to return in 35 minutos para la cena.

A good day with it's fair share of wackiness....that is the code name for "behaviours attributed to Max". Not sure if it is tos related or just the fact that life can be tough for lil'guys. Ja ja ja

A good bed time...phew and a good start to the noche. Only 2 wake ups and even with the a/c set at 26,0 grados, Max sweated through a playera.

A few requests for his Poppa's manos and at 445am we had a cough session. At 5am we had a jarabe session and at 515am, we were back asleep. Phew.

Up for good at 705am and then onto the usual morning for us. Videos and then tranquilo time y desayunos in the Palacio.

Max was into his fruta today, so I loaded him up on a huge portion. To keep him interested and eating, we made Google our friend and watched some videos.

Helicopters, trains, tractors, airplanes and then onto the San Diego Zoo website where we saw some videos on polar bears, brown bears, pandas and Sumatra tigers.

Great to sit with Max as he was in awe of what he saw and he asked the same question 1000 times..."what is that?"...for 1000 different things.

Due to the fact that desayunos was only fruta as Max did not want anything else, I asked if he wanted hotcakes at Los Portales and his ojos went huge and I had the "yes, pleeeeease".

Off on our bici tour and we met madre at 10am. Max did not eat as much hotcake as usual, but kinda freaked us out with the amount of pico he ate, and this is spicy pico. He had fried tortilla chips and put the jitomate y cebolla on top and ate chip after chip.

Throw in the odd piece of tocino, some hotcakes and some quesillo, and we were still eating long after madre had finished up and headed out on her bici ride!!

We finished up and paid the bill, $200 pesos propina included, and then headed back to the casa so we could change up and hit the CP alberca.

Madre me up with us and we had a good familia swim and then headed upstairs for the leche y libros and after 20 minutos with his Poppa y madre, Max was lights out for a good 90 minuto siesta.

More tos, more jarabe and then Bex y Max cooked up their comida and then ate their lunch. I was off to el gimnasio and returned to find them in the CP alberca...hello!!

Bex had a 4pm Skype so The Boys headed out...Max was muy triste due to a previous fall and then became more emotional when I removed one of his wood trucks from the Palacio because he had thrown it on the ground on purpose. Oh Max.

Tears and sobbing as I carried Max down the calle...and those were mine!! Ja ja ja

We get to SCA and I ask if Max wants a treat and everything changed. The smile came out, the tears stopped and into the tienda we went.

He picked out some wacky sugar teeth, says he has had these with his madre....hmmmmm? But we settled on some galletas and they were crap. But he enjoyed feeding them to the pigeons!!

Onto Foto Conejo to get the fiesta invites printed and then onto the papeleria to buy some pegamento, glue, so we can glue the fotos into the invites.

Inside page one.

Inside page two

The invite for peeps with less pesos then others...it says no gifts are required.

The invites for the Beverly Hills crew...bring a gift!! Ja ja ja

We headed home and Bex was waiting at the bike rack for us and off they went...for a block, before Max decided he did not want to bici any more. Oh Max. Bex put him into the niño seat and tossed his bici onto hers and off they went.

And now they are home...waiting patiently for Polish sausage miercoles!!

Ok...onto the fotos.

Well at least today we started with some sonrisas!!

Señor Serio.

Señor Enfermo.

¿Señor Agresivo?

We are entering week 2 of this project and Max has decided that it is taking too long, so he will help Marcos.

Ojo ojo...look who is coming up behind the 2 trabajadores!!

Ciao Ciao!!

He knows Max is scared of him and he was muy amable by coming to a stop. Max y Ciao Ciao waved hola to each other, but Max did not want to go up past him to get to his bici.

So I picked him up and we went through the passway of another building and came out behind him. Oh Max...I thought you LOVED Ciao Ciao? Or at least you have been telling us this!!

This would be called the "I am so excited to go to Los Portales for hotcakes" foto series.

On patrol again.

Max has spotted a carro with a llanta issue.

It has such a big issue, it gets 2 fingers pointed at it!!

It has a "missing the llanta" issue. Oh my, Max.

Hmmm...I wonder what she is doing?

I watched these peeps from Montreal, visiting on a cruise ship, as they watched Max....for 5 minutos.

He was busy choque'ing taxistas!!

I am sure this next hombre is happy it ONLY feels like 36,0 grados vs the 49,0 we had last month!!

Flat tires and riding through puddles...both will put a sonrisa on Max's face.

As we waited for our hotcakes...here is Señor Muy Curio.

He then lulled himself into a hypnotic state.

Back at the CP and it is time to check in on Marcos.

You know the rutina...back at you post tina time.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!! Way to go Bex!! Not only did she stand up for her rights as a consumer...she did it all en español!! And peeps here are not used to the customer complaining about anything and the customer is not used to getting everything they should!! More on this...read on.

We had a great dinner but Max did not want the Polish salchicha...too greasy? So out came some pavo and on went my Niño Feeder gorra and after 45 minutos and many more truck y airplane videos, Max had finished a huge plateful of dinner. Phew.

Clean up and then off for a bici tour...going to Foto Conejo to pick up our invites.

We get there with plenty of time to spare, but the d-a's have cut off the bottom of the invite. It looks bad...too bad for us to hand out.

So Bex takes 15 minutos to explain and get the issue resolved, while Max and I prowl outside and hang out with our Los Portales amigos.

We return to the foto shop just in time to hear the hombre behind the counter tell Bex how much it will cost to reprint the invites. Here it gets interesting as we had no intention on paying for something they should have caught and fixed the first time.

Bex gives them the gears en español and finally we get a 50% discount on the reprints, it will cost us another $50 pesos vs $100. It is the principal of the matter...and Bex was still steaming when she got home. Doph.

But due to the fun at Foto Conejo, we were waaaaay behind tina schedule. Into the tub and 5 minutos later out of the tub and 5 minutos later in for leche y libros and at 740pm, bedtime is under way and I have 10 minutos before I need to go in and close the show.

So...you are all caught up. Mañana? Playa Mojon...yahoo.

9pm UPDATE....so...at 749pm, as Bubba was about to take over bed time duty, Bex sticks her head out the bedroom door and calls for Poppa. ¿Por que? A hic-cup turned into a hic-burp and that turned into a hic-yak...all over the bed. Yikes.

So without even having to discuss it, Bex takes Max into the shower for a clean up and I go to work on the bedroom.

After 20 minutos or so I take over Max duty and Bex takes over clean up and takes care of the sheets etc. It took me another 30 minutos, but Max was finally lights out, in his cuna, at 850pm.

We are concerned about the lil'man's health and we will be following up our doctor mañana and if we are not happy with her answer, we will check in with Doctor Carillo next. Stay tuned.

Have a great jueves y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
