Making the peeps at the zapateria laugh, by looking into the mirror and continually saying "Hola Max...Hola Max".

Buenos tardes and welcome to a typical fall day here in Huatulco. With the end of September came a definite change in the weather. Phew as it was a tough 5 months of humido!!

So now we have low to no humido, a light breeze and a freshness in the air....and el sol is shining as well!!

A perfect afternoon for the familia to be in the cocina prepping the pollo for tonight's cena and of course the perfect weather to be sitting on the couch and watching some racing!!!

Good news...my neck is slowly loosening up without the need for more meds!! Phew.

As for our día so far...Max was lights out at 825pm...of course he was. A huge pee break at 10pm and then a solid noche other then a need for a sore leg massage at 3am and then at 615am he complained about a noise he did not like. Hmmmm? Was it my snoring? Oh oh...but it has not bothered him before. Stay tuned.

Leche, vidoes, tranquilo time and desayunos in the Palacio and then off for a bici tour to the campo. Max has blown through another pair of his tenis, so we stopped off at the zapateria, shoe store, and after waaaaay too much time spent trying on shoes, we scored on a new pair, threw out the tenis, and headed home.

We missed the window for familia swim, bit we said hola hola to madre, had some leche while we changed into swim gear, and then The Boys had a nice swim in a cool and deserted alberca!!

Lots of underwater swimming and then cannonball fever off the wall!!

Upstairs for leche y libros and even though he told us he did not want a siesta, Max was lights out 1220pm and awake at 140pm.

Out of his panale, into lil'man ginchies and off to prep food with madre.

And as the race is about to begin...it has been bumped for some Handy Manny so Max can watch it while eating his comida. Things we do for our hijos!!

So...onto the fotos.

Señor Serio's pre-tour poses.

Listo to head to the campo.

Every day we stop at this comedor economico....to look at it's flat tires.

Stopped to check out the partido de futbol.

Max loved the mirror, and the señoritas working at the shoe store loved watching him watch himself.

Check out all these facial expressions.

And the new shoes tambien...$258 pesos.

We missed the familia swim, but bumped into madre as she was headed upstairs from the alberca. Here Max shows off his new shoes.

Gets the fist bump from his madre.

An admiring smile.

The besito.

And the sonrisa!!

Ok...off to cook a Gorilla Cheese and then sit down and watch the race.

Back at you post tina time.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!! Currently 710pm and due to the lil'man being pooped out, there was no post cena tour or prowl. A tranquilo tina time and extra time during leche y libros will make up the difference, and The Niño Whisperer will go in and close the show at 745pm, not expecting to come out until 830pm.

As for the rest of the day...a good race and Joey L has already made it into the next round of The Chase by winning today's race.

Add in some clean up time and tranqulo time, and that was my afternoon.

The familia headed to playa Santa Cruz where Max made a new amiga, a Mexicana niña who was 7 years old or so. Max loves his older women!! Bex says they had a lot of fun together and all was a-ok until they came home and Max had an emotional moment about a small cut on his toe.

Oh, it was an emotional moment alright. Yikes. But a bandaid and some crema solved the issue and the blubbering ended once he was on the banco watching Bernstein Bears on the iPad.

A good dinner, hola hola to Oma y Opa and then clean up and ta da....that was our day.

Mañana? Day one of Max headed to the play group. It starts at 10am and we will retrieve him at 11am and head home for the rest of our usual rutinas. Should be a-ok...stay tuned.

Have a great lunes y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
