Oh, he feels a-ok today, but here Max is impersonating how his Poppa felt at 2am when he was feeding Max his dinner. 2am? Yikes!!

Buenos tardes!! Currently 4pm and the familia is out and about centro, having frozen off their pasas y lady bumps in the friggin freezing cold CP alberca!!

No sol and lots of lluvia for 5 days will do that to an outdoor pool!!

Me? Recuperating again...or is it still? The tos is worse then yesterday and if I had not had a 2.5 hour siesta...there would be no blog updating today!!

And guess who else has an itchy throat...hola hola madre. Oh yes, we are on the full circle with this gripe/cold. Max's cough is less, but still hanging around, and his faucet of a nose is fun for all.

So that is the current health status...how did last night go?

Uhhhhh...wacky wacky wacky.

Where did we leave off yesterday? Asleep in the cuna at 745pm'ish? There was the need for some manos at 9pm and then the lil'man slept until midnight'ish. The legs were aching and he did not want his Poppa...of course he didn't.

Bex came in and I hit the mattress in the other bed room...lights out.

I am told that after some rocking and leg massaging, Max fell asleep...and I know for a fact that he work up again at 2am'ish. How do I know? Hello....I heard him crying.

Heck, the familia is up, I might as well get up. Bex gave the lil'guy some niño Tylenol and tried to get him to eat and was having success with that and as I was in the living room, I heard Max go from sobs and blubbering to talking and laughing. Huh?

Well...looks like he is feeling better...time for Bex to hit the sack and for Poppa to work his magic with the lil'man.

We ate dinner between 230am-3am and then into the cuna for some manos until the lil'man fell asleep at 330am. Yikes.

And you would think that after a 530am wake up, a 15 minuto siesta, a 20 minuto cat nap, sleeping from 8pm-midnight and then 1230am-2am...would Max sleep in? Ahhhhhh...no.

Awake at 615am, lounge and manos until 645am and then onto leche y libros. Poppa dragged his butt out of bed at 720am and off we went.

Tranquilo time, desayunos, some videos about shapes and colors and then out the door we went for a bici tour.

First stop was off to a cafe to say hola hola to madre who was having a cafe with her amiga.

And then we hit up Doc Carillo's oficina where we dropped off an invite to Max's fiesta. Off to the bus station for a pit stop and then onto Soriana for some meds and tranquilo time.

Home for leche y libros and happy to report that Max had a good siesta. Bubba, feeling like crap, left his computer in the living room and went into siesta mode with the lil'man.

He had at least 90 minutos and I was at least 2.5 hours. Yikes. While I slept the familia cooked up the pollo for tonight's quesadillas and then ate their comida as well.

And when I dragged my butt out of bed around 3pm, they were headed out the door for their dip in the freezing pool.

Time to clean the casa and then sit down for a tranquilo afternoon!!

Casa clean, blog updated...onto the fotos.

Yahoo!! On the 5th day...we saw some blue skies y el sol!!

It did not last long and the afternoon was an overcast and chilly one. Brrrr....25,0 grados!!

Off to the camioneta verde to retrieve the bici (yahoo!!), but first it was hoja collecting time.

One intense looking hoja collector!!

Poppa also calls this "burn a little energy" time. Hee hee hee.

Max was sooooo patient trying to get the perroito to come over.

For several minutos, he was quiet and stayed still with his hand stuck out.

I suggested that maybe the perroito was timido because of the bici, so Max got off and made another attempt, and we had success!!

Who knew? Both Max and the perroito are fascinated with flat tires!!

Back to affection time.

I missed the shot...but Max did receive a besito!!

And I received the sonrisa!!

After last night, all is well in the lil'man's world. Phew!!

Close a restaurante and open it down the calle...hello...the chimenea must move too!!

Hypnotic pit stop.

Mexican construction practice. The rebar shows up in long strands, and these 4 hombres use their muscles and a pipe that fits over the end of the rebar, and heave ho until the tip is at the 90 degree angle they are looking for.

Bus station pit stop for crunchy (not stale...doph) Cheerios, pasas y agua.

And sometimes...una sonrisa.

What to do when you are low on energy and have a nasty tos? Head to Soriana for some meds and a prowl. Hello!!

And after 10 minutos of tope surfing, off we go.

Getting low for a clearer look.

Not to be mistaken for the "flat tire point".

This would be the "vagobundo under the carro point".

One last peek.

Ok...off to whip up some Bubba quesadillas!! Hoping, praying, for no repeat of last nights 6pm incident. Buen suerte.

Back at you post tina time.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!! We had some sore legs when the familia returned from their afternoon out, but today we did not wait to give Max some niño Tylenol. He gets the leg massage from his madre and the 2ml of meds we give him is less then 1/2 a normal dose, so we feel a-ok about it.

We try to keep him off the meds, having ended his cough syrup earlier then prescribed and not giving him anything for the runny nose. Best to try and let nature heal him, unless he is in extreme discomfort like he has been with his legs and earlier with his cough, tos.

Ok...the afternoon was fun for the familia...the parque and some trampolining (?) at the mall.

Home for quesadillas and after saying he was done eating, Max managed to finish off his cena while watching the best airplane video ever, and then having a FT con Oma y Opa.

Onto the tractor video (look Poppa...a John Deere) and then onto clean up.

With the familia under the weather, no post cena prowl or tour, but we extended cocina time and then once we were ready...tina time!! Poppa took care of the lil'man's hair and then Bex took over.

Finish clean up, onto leche y libros and at 740pm, bed time is under way. Phew.

Mañana? Tranquilo martes and of course...a Che run.

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
