Oh, if only this happiness had lasted all day.

Buenos tardes!! The familia is hoping that whatever Max is fighting we are not fighting too. Bex is achy and now Poppa is not 100% either. What? No el gimnasio? Yup...Bubba is taking an afternoon off to rest up and try and fight off what ever bug I have.

But I did go out to get Max his regalo, a wood truck with logs on back, and I also grabbed some huevos tambien.

As for the patient, Max had a so-so noche, a good start to the morning, an emotional breakdown during our bici tour, a good siesta and so far a good afternoon.

The meds seem to have helped a little, but I have NO idea about this breakdown that he had. Maybe he was just tired and maybe the Tylenol had worn off.

As for the día...a bit of a rough noche for Bex, including a 12 midnight wake up, a 3am wake up and then a final wake up at 6am. Doph.

I was woken up by the lil'man at 650am and off we went. Lots of tranquilo time in the Palacio and then we had our desayunos before heading out for the bici tour.

We were done with our visit to Casa Pepe and were on our way to SCA when the wheels fell off the bus. Max was playing with a water shut off valve and was not being suave with it...it could have broken, shooting agua everywhere.

Complicating the issue was the fact that he was playing with it in front of the owner of the casa as well as 2 other peeps.

I told Max he could look at the meter, but leave the water valve alone...and the water came pouring out of Max's ojos.

The peeps had never seen max upset and were quite intrigued with this...that and his blubbering is actually a cute thing.

I ended up with Max on my shoulders, his casco on my head, my mochilla on my back, and carrying his bici with one hand.

Did I mention it has been a hot día out there?

Only feels like 36,0?

Add 17 kilos of Max and 5 kilos of bici...ugh. Not hating...just stating.

We met madre on her way out for a bici ride and she took care of the lil'man. A leg massage, some leche and some Tylenol and we went from Def Con 5 to 1. Phew.

Madre hit the road and the boys made it to the CP alberca and were joined by Bex when she came home from her hot ride.

Play time and then upstairs for some leche y libros and after 8 minutos with his Poppa and 17 with his madre, Max was lights out. Phew.

A good siesta and then I headed out for my errands while Bex y Max cooked up some home made chicken noodle sopa.

As I returned home, they were settling down to eat their comida and it became my job to get Max to come back to the "feeding station" once his boca was empty.

He finished almost all of his soup and after getting geared up, he came and lay on the bed with his Poppa..."what are you doing Poppa?" and then after a besito he bolted off the bed and out the front door.

The familia is off for a prowl around centro...hola hola to goodie bags for the niños coming to Max's fiesta.

They will be back before 4pm and due to madre being pooped, they will take the camioneta verde (vs her bici) to Santa Cruz to hook up with Max's amigas.

Me? A tranquilo afternoon!! I will finish this part of the blog update, do some work on my resume and then complete the casa clean up. It is rib eye lunes here and I will get the papas a la francesa into the horno at 5pm and the steaks cooking at 520pm.

All caught up...onto the fotos.

This was the kind of morning we had...me working hard on getting Max to even look at the camera.

One happy looking niño?

Uhhhh Poppa....

I am outta here!!

But if I persist long enough, and tell him something tonto, silly, slowly the serious face leaves and is replaced with his beautiful sonrisa, smile.

Not normally seen this close to centro, some carpinteros have set up shop just outside the CP gates.

I saw some piles of red dust on the sidewalk and looked up. Doph...muy peligro to see a roof tile this close to falling down. I wonder who I mention this to?

In Casa Pepe and I see a new palabra en español. Guess what a motosierra is?

Max found this hoist and fell in love with it.

And then started making engine hoist noises.

Out front of Casa Pepe, someone left behind some wacky jaw bone with some dientes still attached. Yikes.

Some trabajadores lined up to buy some ropa, clothes.

Ok, you know the rutina. Hasta pronto!!

Buenos noches!! Leche y libros are on the go and bed time is not far behind. Max says he is tired...yeah right...buen suerte!!

The familia had fun at Santa Cruz and Bex's Mexicana amiga says that having Max's fiesta at the water slides should be a-ok. So...time to cancel Santa Cruz, re-do the invites for the 4th time and get a hold of the water slides to make sure we can book our fiesta there!!

Post Santa Cruz, the familia returned home and within 10 minutos it was time for la cena. Max is off steak....huh? So he had pollo snacks and that left more rib eye for Poppa!!

Max was not in the eating mood, but once he got out of his high chair and could roam the Palacio, he pit stopped into Poppa's feed station and I managed to get him to finish almost all of his dinner. And in between we even managed to have a FT con Oma y Opa. A FT where we could see each other AND hear each other. Score!!

Max was tired earlier in the dinner session so we cancelled our post cena prowl and or tour, but as he ate more and more dinner, his energy level rose and we needed to get him out of the casa.

So after dinner and clean up we all headed out for a prowl and made it one block before Max decided he did not want to walk anymore and managed to convince (bent her rubber arm) his madre to carry him home. Oh Max...Oh Bex!!

Home for tina time, some meds and ta-da...that was our día!!

Mañana? Bex to INM and The Boys have a Che date. No estancia infantile until Max's tos is better.

Have a great martes y hasta mañana!!

Marco, Bexico y Max
