Buenos tardes and welcome to a dry afternoon!! Yahoo!!
We also had a dry morning and with all the rain over the past few days, and a little sol now, el humido has returned!!
But since this weather update, a small wind has arrived and that is keeping the 84% humidity in check. Phew!!
Currently 315pm and the familia has loaded up and are out the door on the way to a playa and then another play date with some of Max's amigas.
Talking play dates...it looks like the estancia infantil that Bex y Max checked out ayer, is exactly what we are looking for.
Normally the niños going there are full time, 7am to 3pm and Mon thru Fri, so having Max drop in 2 or 3 times a week for an hour, is not the usual for the estancia. But they are a-ok with it and it looks like play time for the niños is 10-11am and Max will join in.
He does not currently know any of these niños as his amigos go to a kinder (kin-der) up the calle, but we are sure he will be ok and for the first few times, we will just be waiting outside if he needs us.
When Bex told him we would have to leave him alone, he told her that it was ok, but he would miss her. What a character!!
$20 pesos for an hour...less the $1.50 CDN. Stay tuned and we will tell you how it goes.
As for the rest of the día...a great bed time, Poppa was adios'd at 815pm!! Score!! The noche was a toss and turn event and Max really wanted Poppa's manos last night. But we slept in until 7am...another long sleep and he must have needed it.
And with all the lluvia ayer....it dipped to the low 25,0's last night. Brrrrrr. Max was a-ok with the blankets he had...Bubba grabbed a towel and slept under that!!
Leche, videos and then tranquilo time/desayunos in the Palacio. We then geared up and had a 90 minuto tour around centro. All the way into the industrial section of town, along the canal and then back into centro where we ran into "Mach 10 madre" racing around on her bici.
Pit stop into SCA for some goods and then home for the leche y libros.
Siesta started at 1145am and Max was lights out 20 minutos later and awake at 120pm. We have this part of the rutina nailed down!!
Not quite ready for el gimnasio...hoping mañana is the day. So I had some comida and then typed away on my resume and a Linkedin profile. Geez Louise...who would'a thunk I would be doing either of those tasks?
Max y Bex had a run to the tienda and then came home for some cooking and comida and after some puttering around and doing HD with his Poppa, off they went.
Pretty uneventful day so far. We are a-ok with that!!
So...onto the fotos.

Max got off his bici and crawled up in stealth mode.
And very patiently worked his arm through each bar, one at a time, until he was close to el gato.
Looks like someone is toying with the lil'man!!
Success!!
Well...for a moment at least.
Darn gato...under the carro!!
As we left, Max was poco triste about this gato not coming out to play, and he tells me "Polly is my amigo and loves me. Let's go see Polly".
When I told him we did not have time right now, but maybe after dinner, his reply was "oh, WE have time to see Polly!!". Hilarious.
Ok, back at you post tina time.

Buenos noches!! I am hearing some yawns from downstairs...and they are NOT from Max!! Ja ja ja
We are in the leche y libros stage of the night and bed time is around the corner. Buen suerte.
Bex y Max did not make it to their play date. ¿Por que? Porque they were having waaaaaay too much fun climbing on the rocks around the playa they were at!! They were home at 515pm and Max looked like he had been dipped in batter and rolled in the sand!! Now that is a fun afternoon!!
Clean up and then onto Bubba's pollo quesadillas...oh so yummy with the fresh made pico de gallo.
A FT con Oma y Opa, clean up and then a quick post cena bici ride...off to the farmacia to get more epsom salts for the lil'dude's sore legs.
Zoom zoom home and into the tina and that has been our day!!
Mañana? Soriana viernes and hoping to get to el gimnasio tambien. Stay tuned.
