Huh? Whitney Houston passed away?

Moving on…

Buenos noches…810pm, the 6pm news is being watched while I type, and la cena is almost finished. Bexico finishing up some great roti pollo and I had some oh so good chorizo in tomato sauce on penne. Mañana? Hello to Rib Eye domingo!!

We had a great day…the night was full of excitement for Bexico. Por que? Max might be having a growth spurt (with a niño you learn something new every day) and he woke Bexico up 5 times to eat!! Wow…yikes.

Now, there are different opinions on when to start Max on solid food. Once he is on solids, he should be able to sleep longer through the night…hello to longer sleep for Bexico!! We are still deciding when we will introduce some eats, probably in the next month or so.

So, suffice it to say that at 7am when Max was done for the night, Bexico was drained (ja ja ja) and I took the cue and both Max and I rolled out of bed.

Five feedings=one VERY full panale!! Ja ja ja. Changed that and decided the best thing for him was a walk around centro.

Strapped him on and off we went. And how many people wanted to stop us and say hola? Too many to count. A few days ago max and I were stopped and an hombre asked if he could take Max’s foto. Same thing happened today when max y madre were coming up the stairs into the condo. He is a rock star!!

Anyways…good walk around town. Nice and cool.

Fotos from that walk.

Our weather...hello to a day at Mojon!!

Knowing Max, I will have to find answers to questions like "why do we see the moon during the day?"

Melon, if you are still alive, this one is for you.

Motos de pollo all gassed up and ready to go

Mexico, world famous for its rebar.

You might recall a foto from last week, the Coppel senoritas who were out looking for credit card applicants? Today Max and I found the oficina.

Knife sharpening sábado.

Hermano y hermana filling in a coloring book.

Open verdura y fruita market. The peeps here LOVE Max!!

Update on the construcion de restaurante

We rolled into the condo around 9am and it was tiempo para desayunos for Senor Max. Had to wake up Bexico, but she is a trooper!!

Bexico was up and I was down. Took an hour zzz and during that time, Max too grabbed some shut eye and I awoke to the sound of Max talking to his otra abuelos, RJ y Rolly. Sounds like they had a great Skype.

We all got ready to go, Bex y Max for another walk, this time to pick up verdura y the carne, and me for the walk to el gimnasio.

Here they are on the way.

Talking about the sombrilla (umbrella)...we actually had a 5 minute rain shower a few nights ago!! First lluvia since we returned to Huatulco.

I had a great session at el gimnasio and more laughs with Hector.

Knowing that we were headed to Mojon, no walk through centro, but straight home.

Here are fotos from the el gimnasio walk.

Cemento y cemento mas.

Turismo autobus means good negocio...

For my coco frio amigo.

Two hard working hombres

And one talented senora

Maybe not the best way to advertise the evento?

We did see a collection of people in the parque across from Pemex. They looked like they were from different parts of Oaxaca, showcasing the different culturos from the different regions. Mañana, we might go take a look and see if they are still there.

Came home and Max was having his segundo nap, so we waited 30 minutes for that to end, then loaded up el camioneta and hit the road.

The truck is running great…no clutch fan issues. And the old clutch fan should be somewhere between Alberta and Burnaby Nissan!! A Condos Pacifico owner, Roseanne, was headed back to Alberta for a few weeks and we asked if she could drop the clutch fan into the mail. $21 Cdn…a whole lot cheaper then the $175 with DHL!!

And what else is so kind Roseanne picking up for us? Hello to a Jolly Jumper…Canadian invention. Who knew? Stay tuned for fotos!!

Back to the day…

No stopping at Copalita, but the militar did have many other vehicles pulled over. Maybe they know us?

Windy day at Mojon.

That is Max bundled up against the viento y blowing arena (sand). Not as bad as last time, but no walk for him along the playa. He had a great day and was super well behaved in his stroller.

Here is the Max and Pudge in the stroller series.

He was fascinated by the monkey print on the blanket

And Vicky says she never sees Max with una sonrisa...a smile?

Ended up seeing a 37 foot motor home ramble by on the dirt road, directed by Roman and Scott. I walked down to Terry’s and had a quick chat about solar systems, a/c and back up generators.

Must be honest…having trouble sleeping as other then Max y Bex, all I think about is Mojon. Hoping for great news come proxima semana.

Hey...story I forgot to tell you. A few weeks ago we were at Mojon, packing up to head home, and I said to the familia "I wonder where our conejito amigo is?", because we had seen a bunny the time before. And right on cue...the conejito jumps out of the brush, winked at Max and bounced away. True story!!

Here are the rest of the Mojon day fotos.

I have lost some weight and the sol is taking a toll on my body.

Mal chiste...bad joke. That hombre was walking up the playa and explained to Bexico that he lived in Montreal for a time, spoke some French y inlges...and could draw a map of America del Norte.

Misc olas

Off our front patio. One of many reasons peeps will want to stay at our casa.

And the last fotos of the day?

The Bexico series. Looks GREAT eh?

Off to rinse the sand out of her gear.

Oh oh...she spotted the camera!!

430pm or so and we loaded up. Max was vocal and we found out he was hambre…again. Or would that be still? Made great time to CP and I dropped off the familia so I could head back to Che.

Wasn’t picking up a lot of items, but did score on some real leche and some Worcestershire sauce. Bexico makes the best virgin Caesars!! Hello to brunch on domingo!!

850pm update…dishes done…lavo los platos…and Bex is working on some Jello postre…Cookies and Crema flavor. Stay tuned. Mañana? Galletas de chocolate chip with 2 types of Hershey chips!!

Ok…after Che, home and a quick dip as it was almost 6pm. We did the routine and tonight we decided I would get Max to zzz after his leche dinner.

He must have been exhausted from his day, as after he was fed, Bex swaddled him, I bounced him for 2 minutes, got 2 belches out of him…and he was asleep!! Easy peasy…today!! Ja ja ja

Bexico grabbed some alberca time and then it was our dinner…and you are all caught up.

No plans yet for mañana. No football…but Nascar starts in a few weeks!!

Great way to end the day? Two emails. One from mi amigo LJB, based in Victoria BC, and an email from Daniel. In case of emergencia, he just gave us his home number and cel number. Buenos amigos!!

Have a great domingo.

Marco, Bexico y Max
