Buenos noches!!
Tons of fotos jueves!!
As for the day…Max was up
right before 7am…right on schedule.
Bex took the early shift,
with the plan being that once Max has been fed and re-packaged, I will take
over. Then Bex gets more zzz and I head out with the lil’hombre.
I was up at 830am and the
plan went off without a hitch.
Max actually grabbed some
zzzz’s and then we went out for the meet and greet!! Lol And how many peeps
wanted to touch his pies and look at his ojos azules? Too many to count…and all
with smiles.
As a matter of fact…look
at this foto. See the peeps in the very middle…senorita in green, a hombre bent
down in front of her and one more hombre to her right?
As I walked by, the hombre
on the right, who was operating a cart and getting his shoes polished by the
hombre crouching down, tells the senorita to grab her camera.
Next thing I know she has
gone into her tienda (a DVD store where they sell pirated DVDs) and grabs her
phone and has taken a foto of Max with his gafas and new gorra (hat). And then
the camera is passed to the hombre and he is taking a foto of the 3 of us!!
I have said it before and
will say it again…this town loves Max!!
Ran into Fermin this
morning. He is taking the week off from el gimnasio and is spending his time
running instead. Good to see him and introduce Max to him.
The gang was at Gabriels
and we had a quick catch up.
Here are the rest of the
fotos from our walk this morning.
The clima for the día.
A cart, some cup and some beverage she has made.
Will this be us someday?
Madres watching their niños in the school yard.
We came home and the
signal given me was “time to eat”, so we woke up Bexico and passed on the Max
duty.
The two of them had their
madre/hijo time and I was off to el gimnasio. Good workout and spent some time
chatting up Hector and our bartender from Pucks. I am still not 100% sure of
his name!! Oh Bubba.
Wanted to hit the pool
with the familia, so no walk through centro.
Here are my walk fotos
from ayer.
And if you wait long enough...
I count 8 people in the back. And why did they outlaw this in BC?
IKEA proto type sectional?
Guau guau
From spanish.about.com here are other animal sounds in español
Three is far from a record.
He may not look happy or all that healthy, but at least he is not pink like he was last year!!
No business plan. Another restaurante opening, this one across from el gimnasio.
I thought she matched the color of the graffiti.
Quick shot of the hombre that sells beach mats.
I guess I am not the only one who needed a hair cut due to the heat.
And from today.
Long haul trucker with a a truck that has no sleeper.
I am thinking "rear leaf springs"...muelles.
Tricked out scooter
What is this opening next to Elder's llanteria?
Knick knacks boutique garage? The sign states they open March 1...te esperamos...I hope!! ja ja ja
Came home, confirmed the
alberca was up and running and grabbed the familia.
Here is Max in his new
rash guard (surfing top). Looking styling if you ask me!! Does he look excited to go to the alberca?
He had a great swim and
after 20 minutes or so, we bundled him up and sent him upstairs with madre. I
did a few laps and the plan was for madre to feed the machine and then I would
hang out with Max while she did her laps.
But before she went back
to the pool, he spent some time in his Bumbo chair.
This thing is supposed to
assist him in sitting up. Looks thrilled don’t you think? Ja ja ja
And enough of that…he said
let me spend some time hugging mom.
Bexico hit the pool…Max
and I hit the town!! I needed another hook for the MacGyver I pulled on his JJ
and so off we went.
Had a nice long walk…but
padre isn’t taking a sombrilla. Bad padre. No more sol for the lil’hombre!!
Grabbed a bollo for la cena,
some mil isla at Santa Cruz and then showed Moises the new skateboard shop that
has opened up.
Came home and we had an
hour before the 6pm rutina. So…off to the JJ!!
The unit we bought has a
portable stand, so we can take it to the playa, the pool or even upstairs in
the oficina. Good thing we bought that one as we have no door frames to hang
the other style from!!
But we did want to store
the stand and we do have the railing from the lost…so here is the new set up.
The extra chain cost $15 pesos/metro…$30
total. The clasps were $12 pesos…another $25 and the tube to prevent any damage
to the loft, was another $15 pesos. Total cost for the new set up…$70 pesos or
$5.60 Cdn. (mas o menos).
And after hooking up the
lil’hombre to his bungy cord and letting him jump off the loft, here are his JJ
fotos.
Note his interest in the
quilt!!
He bounced and bounced…one
day we might post a video on YouTube. Exciting stuff!! Funny what all that
bouncing did to his bowels….
Perfect timing as it was
6pm!!
He had the rutina, managed
to get through all the numbered cards (#10…10 cookies…that is his favorite card
right now) and madre got him to zzzz…and almost fell asleep herself!! Oh
Bexico.
We had a late dinner and
it is currently 11pm. Bexico is hard at work in the oficina and I have the
Canucks game on in the background, while updating the blog.
Max? He Houdini’d himself out
of his swaddle blanket, but is fast asleep.
Our viernes? I think a
playa is in the works. Not sure which. Stay tuned!!
Hey you folks in TO...15 cm of nieve coming your way? Brrrr.

saludos
Marco, Bexico y Max
