Buenos noches!!

What a crappy day!! Oh the day was a great day, but after Max’s cita with the pediatra, we need to have a coproparasitoscopio done for him…3 día in a row.

What is a coproparasitoscopio? Poo poo sample!! We are just being cautious to make sure he hasn’t caught a bug. We feel he is a-ok, the doctor feels he is a-ok, the guy who sells bed frames made out of pino feels he is a-ok, but we are just making sure.

The procedure? For the next 3 days we take a pañale, scoop out a sample, and take it to the lab, which is located near the zocalo. Fun times for all involved!!

Currently 10pm…what a wacky Nascar race!!! Postponed from ayer due to lluvia, rescheduled for noon today, and then postponed until 6pm Huatuclo time. And then with 40 laps to go, a car slams into a track dryer and holy jet fuel fire Bat Man!!

So here is the late night blog update.

Great start to the day!! I was the early shift and Max and I headed to the alberca while we waited for his business to occur. No…not in the pool, but we sat beside the pool!! Nice and cool, we chatted it up, soaked our pies and then came back up to grab some leche.

The day is a bit (hee hee hee) of a blur, but I do know that I manged to get Senor no Siesta to have 2 in his cuna and took a liberty and had him sleep for one on my chest.

Rest of the day? El gimnasio and guess who was working the gym? Galdino the patron…owner. Por que? Jhanhet seems to no longer work there. Galdino told me why, but it was en español and I did not understand. Oh well…I am sure Galdino will find someone else soon.

Over all, there are many businesses looking for peeps to work here. Issue is that the pay is baaaaad, so for some peeps they make more $$ driving taxis or would rather spend the time with familia. Sound familiar? Ja ja ja

After el gimnasio I took a stroll through centro to see if Daniel could join us at the pediatra and happy to report he could and did.

Could we have gone to the doctor without Daniel? Sure, we did last time and Bexico did great that time. This time we had a few more questions and with words we don’t use very often, so having Daniel there was great.

As for the doctor, we feel he is smart, aka educated, but has this “air” about him that makes it seem like he feels better then the everyday person. He frowned at me when he found out I was at the local gym…things like that.

What does make me laugh is the fact that doctors here are really only used to seeing patients if they are ill. A 4 month checkup for a niño who is healthy, seems to confuse the doctor and he does not know what to ask.

Good thing Bexico was prepared and after our questions were answered, we asked that he weigh and measure the lil’hombre. Results? He weighs 7800 gramos and is 65 cm long…both are above the 50th percentile for Canadian niños of 4 meses of age!! Saludable…healthy.

Back to the day.

Home from the walk and el gimnasio…hola to pool time!!

And then we had another nap…note the “we”…and then it was time for some eats and out the door.

The clima is quite a bit (hee hee hee) cooler at 645pm…might need to get out more often. But have to balance that with Max’s runtina.

Despues de cita, Daniel and I went to the lab to confirm procedures, and Bexico y Max headed home for the delayed rutina. By the time I was home at 8pm, they were having his pre-sleep leche and I put away all the wash gear.

Late cena and you are caught up with our día.

Bexico is working in her oficina and I am hoping to watch the last 40 laps of this crazy race.

Mañana? No sé. Maybe Chahue? After the poo poo delivery of course!! Ja ja ja

Fotos…
