Buenos noches!!
We took sábado off from
blogging. We spent the day out and about, having a great time.
Biggest accomplishment of
the day was replying to some Facebook messages we received…haven’t heard back
though. Por que? That’s disappointing.
Ayer was about Mojon and
then the fair and today was about a rain delay at Daytona (Nascar postponed
until mañana) and a dip in the pool at Club Chahue.
Club Chahue…muy interesante.
I am not sure who owns it, but there are free pools to use and the access to
the playa goes right through a restaurante with so-so pricing, but free wi-fi.
I had heard (mistakenly)
that the alberca at CP was closed today, so we loaded up Senor Max and drove 5
minutes to Chahue and used their pool.
Very different as there
were a ton of Mexican niños splashing around, vs our pool which often has a
bunch of peeps smoking and drinking around it!! Ja ja ja
But good for Max to
experience all of this and he was a trooper. Not a long experience and while I
drove back to CP, madre y Max took a walk home so Max cold grab his 3rd
siesta of the day.
His first one? On my chest…but
segundo was in his cuna!!
7pm here and the rutina is
over, Max is being fed and then it will be lights out for him. La cena for us
and maybe a few minutes of Billy Crystal at the Oscars.
Mañana? El gimnasio!! I
did not go ayer and today Silverio told me I was fat around the middle!! Ja ja
ja
As well, hope to watch
some of the postponed race and if all goes well, we will have a cita con
pediatra as well.
We do have some fotos from
ayer.
He started on the opposite side of the blanket!!
Ok Silverio...maybe a little around the middle!!
Nahhhh
Santa Cruz closed off for the fair. Santa Cruz is a 5 minute drive from home and is where the cruise ship pier is located.
To accommodate Max's bedtime rutina, we arrived at 6pm and the fair doesn't really get hopping until later at night. These folks were just setting up their booth.
Now this is a bouncy castle. Hello to Max's primera fiesta de cumpleaños!!
The fair has a little bitt (hee hee hee) of everything. Sombrero anyone?
The dish soap bubble hombre!!
Knick knacks...and of course Max y Bexico!!
Dulce and more dulce.
And even more candy!!
And the juegos...games.
What the....? Bob Esponja? Who knew?
As the sun sets, this area will fill with hambre peeps...and to wash down the tacos y tlayudas, the Coronas will flow!!
Click HERE to read more about the treat Oaxaqueño.
And after the games, here come the plasticos y kitchen wares.
Followed by the ropa. $100 peso pantalones? Jeans for $8 Cdn.
And then come the rides.
Have a great lunes all.
Marco, Bexico y Max
