Max and his new gorra!! Ok, so he still needs to grow into it!!
Currently 810pm and the casa is quiet except for the hum of the ventilador and the sound of the secadora.
A good sábado for all of us...I managed to get the splash guard installed with at least 5 of the 6 bolts and also managed to get to el gimnasio.
Madre y Max had a rough sleep, but had a super desayunos together and then a super fun AM walk, something madre hasn't had in quite a while. She told me the funnest part was being led around town by Max...kinda showing madre what HIS rutina is all about.
I made it home in time to take over siesta duty (like it is a duty!! lol) and after our sleep, Bex y Max had a walk, their comida and then playa time.
I was at the gym, had some sol and then took the lil'guy out for a pre cena prowl around centro.
Good dinner, easy tina time, a small melt down during bed time, but the Whisperer only needed 5 minutes to get the lil'guy into his cuna. Phew...as it had taken 30 plus minutos the past 2 nights.
And you are all caught up...except for the fotos, courtesy of Max's madre!!
Max limbering up before his walk con madre.
In his head, Max is formulating the quickest route to where he thinks the camioneta verde is.
Someone wants to say hola.
Lo siento Senora, I am off to the camioneta verde.
Based on his look, Max already senses something is amiss.
Uhhhhh...
It should be right here.
Hmmm....not over there.
Madre, it it not over here.
On the ground I can see no evidence of foul play.
Hmmm, maybe over there?
Is it behind this fence?
Nope. But Marcelino is!!
And he is sticking his finger through the fence.
Only one thing to do.
Yup, Max bit it!!
And then he ran to the guard shack to let them know the camioneta verde was not in it's parking spot.
As I mentioned, Max led madre through the walk we normally take. Not sure why he stopped here. Oh Max...secreto!!
And after the zapateria, off to the parque.
Some more limbering up.
And then off to Oxxo and the carro. Adios to $5 pesos!! Oh madre.
What up with getting poked in the cheek?
Now this is mi hijo!! Hola to the motos!!
I wonder where Max gets his facial expression from?
Mobile tienda de fruta.
Mañana? The race is at noon...might need to PVR it and go to the play con the familia!!
Misc
So as the Tony was drilling out the broken bolts on the camioneta, I took his moto (the one with almost NO brakes and a very ill sounding motor) to the tienda de tornillos to buy the new bolts.
As I passed a parque, what did I see? Two uniformed members of the Marinas were taking info from owners of perros, and then giving them shots. There must have been 30 peeps in line...but why was it the Marinas that were giving the shots? Hmmmm?
As for Tony, I arrived at 845am'ish and he was not at the taller. Chatted up his padre and was told Tony was out getting refacciones for another repair job and he would be back in 30 minutos.
I went to the parts store, found Tony and followed him back to the shop...all in 5 minutos. I guess his padre meant the 30 minutos would include the time Tony was going to spend on the car he was repairing...before he got to the camioneta. Doph.
But he started at 930am and was done at 1115am. And how much did it cost? He wanted no money...amigos he says. But I say I have to pay for his time and want his familia to eat, so for almost 2 hours of not so fun work, we agree on $150 pesos, under $13 Cdn. And he felt even that was too much. Wow...what a different país, country.
And now, you are truly caught up!!
Have a great domingo.
Marco, Bexico y Max
