Hola hola!!!

725pm and it is 32,0 grados y 55% humido. Let’s see what that “feels” like…oh, a balmy 41,0 according to my Environment Canada guide!!

Not hating, just stating.

As you may already know, we are about to enter hot season and in junio, it becomes rainy season.

Last year Max would have been 6 or 7 months old and his walks consisted of carrying him in the canguro (kangaroo), sling. It was hot, I recall taking off one very wet sling, but I don’t think it will be anything compared to chasing down the little speedster.

Our día? Max was up muy temprano and by the time I was up at 730am, the two of them had already changed a few panales and also gone for a prowl around the CP grounds. Yikes.

Madre hit the sack while the boys started their AM rutina, and desayunos was not good. I did manage to convince Max to eat some huevos, some pollo, very little fruta and some left over papas con ketchup.

Not worried as we know he will eat when he is hungry, but sooner or later he will need to know he needs to eat something for desayunos, the most important meal of the día!!

I was checking out the growth charts for Canada, and between 18 months and 2 years, we can see Max grow another 4 or 5 cm and add another 1.5 kilos…if he starts eating his breakfast again!!

Back to the day…a long AM prowl and then back for leche and a long siesta!!

Once we were up, madre y Max went for a long walk of their own, then had la comida and then off to playa Chahue.

Me? El gimnasio and then some pool time. There was only one other peep at the pool, and she tells me there are only 4 or 5 Canadians left, and they are all headed back soon. Tranquilo time!!

And then the Communists struck. Huh? Bex y Max wheeled in on the bici and as per usual, swung by the alberca to say hola hola. When they got back to the bike racks at the front of the complex, Silverio sheepishly passed on a message from above….no more riding the bike to the albera.

Por que Bex asked and he could not give an answer. That can only mean one thing…that one of the grumpy Mexican senoras had nothing better to do then complain. We have a few be-itches that are soooo crusty and grumpy…no smiles for any of the Canadians or Americans, let alone the rock star of CP, Max.

I say keep riding the bike, of course being careful not to hit any of the Mexicans that live here, and wait to see if the Federales are called!!

Any who…we all headed upstairs, Max leche’d up and then went out for a quick pre-cena prowl con madre, while Bubba set us up for the PM rutina and whipped up some famoso Bubba Burritos!!

Easy dinner, easy tina time and madre y Max are on round one of sleepy time. Wish us luck!!

Fotos.

Keeping it simple for the walk, white playera and blue shorts.

Oh you know where we are going!!

Padre...hello...the camioneta verde por favor!!

From our AM walk, we present to you, The Mirror series.

Max put up no fuss when he was scooped up by Ghimbeli.

But after that, he went here to have a think about the whole situation.

Who is excited about picking up 600 gramos of molida res at Papaloapan?

Only one foto from the walk to el gimnasio. It was HOT and this hombre didn't seem to break a sweat carrying all these sillas...while wearing pants vs shorts.

And what are these? Fotos from the alberca at Chahue?

The peeps in the backgrounds are our amigos that own the taqueria across the street from the CP, who always say hola to Max.

And once in the alberca...hola to the niñas!!

Max LOVES to float.

Top marks for floating form.

And we are still reminding Max to hold his breath...

and blow out...vs drinking pool water!! Oh Max.

Ahhh...vida es buena!!

Mañana? Thinking about a Mojon day because on jueves we have lunch with some amigos of Oma y Opa. Their friends will be stopping in Santa Cruz on their cruise ship, and we will meet them for some comida and the transfer of the care package from Victoria BC.

And then on viernes it looks like I might be hooking up with Rick so we can take a short prowl on his motos. And we will follow that up with a long trip on domingo, into the montañas. Stay tuned!!

815pm UPDATE

So, The Whisperer cannot remember any bedtime songs, so he sticks to what he does know, the theme to Gilligan’s Island. After singing the song 7 times with Max in my arms, he was getting ready for cuna time.

Another 3 times while he was in the cuna, and then 5 minutes of my hand on his cheek and covering his ear (don’t ask me…that is what he requested), the lil’man was lights out!!

Misc

While Max was having his pre-siesta leche, I plugged in the MJ and called Amex again. New number and I actually reached a live person. They asked me who had been taking care of my file…like I remember that. The lady said “let me check” and the next thing I know, I am connected to a voicemail. Doph.

Another day, another attempt at getting an Amex card.

Have a great miercoles and don’t forget the one hour season finale of the Duck Boys!!

Marco, Bexico y Max…happy happy happy
