Buenos noches!!
Wow…it has been hot!! We almost hit
35,0 grados!! Phew. But Max has toughed it out by hitting the playa with his
madre!!
Me? Sweating it out at el gimnasio and
then some time in the CP alberca. Oh there was a nice breeze, but warm air blowing
around isn’t that refreshing…doph. Not hating….just stating!!
And how dd the day start? Rough night
for the lil’man and madre. Doph. Bubba took over just before 7am and the
lil’man had already decided that he was hungry…but not for the desayunos we had
set up for him.
You cannot force a niño to eat, so we
hung around and tried some different items and finally managed to get a small
breakfast into his tummy.
No walk around the centro…2 days in a
row? Today we piled into the camioneta and headed out to the niño hospital to
check on vacunas.
Oh oh…no lights on in the oficina de
vacunas!! And the nota on the door says that they vacunas will return
mañana…probably due to semana santa.
So know we need to go back mañana and
confirm that the vacuna Max needs is available, and if it is, then the familia
will return on viernes. Doph. Stay tuned.
So after reading the nota, the boys
prowled around the hospital grounds and then it was off to Che.
What’s that? A score of leche fresca on
a miercoles? Crazy!! It seems Semana Santa is a two week holiday and Che was
packed. Max and I loaded up so we hopefully do not need to return until next
week when the only peeps left in town, are us locals!! Ja ja ja
After Che, off to the casa for leche y
siesta time!! Great 2.5 hour siesta…but that also means we are up waaaaay
late…like 130pm!! Doph.
Madre y Max had lunch and I was off to
Papaloapan to load up on our carne. Scores galore and of course all the
butchers ask “¿donde es Max?”!!
Drop the meat off at home and headed
out to el gimnasio…with a quick pit stop. When Tony was replacing the oil
filter, he made comment that the shield on the bottom of the truck had 3 broken
off screws. Doph.
So first off I had to take out one of
the remaining 3, so I could show it to the hombre at the tienda de tornillos.
Then I will need to get the 3 broken ones out and then replace all 6.
Strike one…the hombre had the right
length, but not the same threads. I bought one to see if it would work and nope
is the answer.
So I will continue this little project
as there are not many places here it town that I will be able to look into.
Stay tuned.
After striking out on my screw, off to
the gym where it was around 40,0 grados. A hot workout and then a dip in the
alberca and it was time para la cena and the set up for the PM rutina.
And how was the familia’s afternoon?
They both came back from playa Santa Cruz with big smiles!! I guess it was
another fun afternoon full of running around, playing in the ocean and playing
one of these musical instruments!!
These are from the estado of Chiapas
and madre tipped the hombre playing it and they gave Max the mallets and off he
went!!
During the afternoon update, Bex also
told me that Max’s swimming is really coming along and that he continues to
LOVE del mar!! Awesome!!
Back at the casa, dinner was good and
Max chowed it all down!! Phew as he has been picky during his last few
desayunos y comidas!!
FT traffic jam so we will touch base
with Oma y Opa mañana.
Madre had super success getting the lil’man
asleep…in her arms again!! Score.
Currently 9pm and all is tranquilo!!
Madre is working on her two projects with one of them being to finish 100
drawings!! Score.
Max is lights out…lucky niño has the
chill on!!
Fotos.
Ok, he found the water wings in the big blue bins and after some ah ah'ing, padre blew them up and he wore them for 30 minutes.
Max LOVES Kow...shows it by sitting on him. Oh Max!!
The hospital has some nice grounds. Max is not on a prowl, he is on a run. Donde vas Max?
Ah ha...a sprinkler!!
Attachment parenting...I get the look before he decides if he is going all in or not.
And today we had to stay dry, so padre scooped up the lil'sprinkler and off we went.
Tranquilo walk to and from el gimnasio. But I did spot these two love birds.
Mañana? Might pop in to chat up Tony,
might need to visit Nissan regarding the tornillos and of course we need to
find out about the vacunas. Busy day!!
Have a great jueves!!!
Marco, Bexico y Max
