Red alert!!! Our lil'man has his first fever and isn't feeling well. He was ok until he awoke from his siesta and was very hot. Some projectile vomiting while at the mall also confirmed he was not well.

Not only is it Max's first fever, it is Bex's and Bubba's first go with our niño while he has a fever. Not a fun time as Max is not happy and feels miserable, and we get poco nervioso when something new happens to the lil'man.

The good news is that there are lots of articles on the web that can inform us what to do, and we have also called our Doc Carillo to get his advice.

Currently 10pm and the boys are laying on the bed and I am happy to say that after some Niño Tylenol,  Max has finally fallen asleep and his temperature is definitely lower then it was an hour ago. He was so warm to the touch...yikes.

But I must say...the lil'man was a trooper and really did not make our day tough. It was only tough because he wants to do so much and today he was de baja energia. That and it was hot in the condo and a nice dip in del mar o el alberca would have been great for all of us.

Won't bore you with the deets of the day, here are some fotos...pre-fever.

Hola hola!!

Patrolling the fence line.

Hmmm. Is the fence to keep the riff raff out, or to keep me in?

We saw a few restaurante y tienda getting all spruced up. No sé por que...but Max ah ah'd at every bandera he saw!!

The senoras at the restautrante all said hola Max, and then gave him a globo.

I tried to tell them thank you but not thank you, because it was going to pop very quickly...and 5 minutes after this foto, it was adios globo.

This fun looking hombre really enjoys Max and was thrilled and in shock that Max understands español.

Mañana? We have the amigos coming into Santa Cruz and if Max is well, we will all go and say hola and then go for lunch. If Max is not up to it, I will go alone.

If we need to take Max to a doctor, our doc is out of town, but Max's pediatra would be available. We go see our doc for emergencies and the pediatra for regular check ups...like in a few weeks when Max turns 18 meses!! Already??

Have a great jueves.

Marco, Bexico y Max
