Buenos noches mis amigos.
From Huatulco, we had a nice email from Heidi, Ricardo’s esposa. He has made it across the border with no issues, and better yet, she looked at G10, could not find a leak that the neighbor below is mentioning…and said we did a great job in cleaning up the place before we moved out. Phew.
Our day here in Van? Not much new…rain held out until 3pm or so. I hit the gym and then had the ears lowered…corte de cabello…haircut!!
Came back home, gave the mom-to-be some mums and a box of Halloween M&Ms!! And then we went to the local shop and now we both have new hair-do’s!!
915pm and Bexico is working!! Huh? She has a nibble on a potential long term client/project, and was invited to “interview”. So she sent the client the 411…niño due, going to take some time off etc…and the client said no problems, let’s proceed with the interview (a sample of her work) and go from there. Coolio.
And other then that…we wait patiently!!
Mañana? Headed to a guaranteed good dinner at Melon’s house and prior to that…more blood tests for Bexico. I guess our midwives cannot find the results for her rubella tests….so off we go.
Here in Canada, the lingo is the “MMR” shot…measles, mumps and rubella. In Mexico, it is called the “SRP” shot…sarampión (measles), rubeloa (rubella) and paraotiditis (mumps).
We did the research and have the “esquema de vacunación” (scheme, outline, plan) and what they supply in Mexico is identical to what they supply in BC.
When we get back home, we will just ensure we go to the right place as last time they asked us ¿Quiere una vacuna contra el tétanos?...do you want a tetanus shot? Ja ja ja
Tranquilo day amigos!!
And what were we doing a year ago?
I had just met my gym amigo Yeu/Memo and on the first day as we were trying to get names down pact, according to the blog, I was calling him Jay-oh. Huh? Ja ja ja
Have a great Thursday.
Marco y Bexico
