Hola amigos!!
A quick Saturday update.
It was a late Friday night....or was that Saturday morning? I have a cough and decided to sleep in vs go to the gym.
Our goal was to get to mi hermanos house for noon…new plan meant 1pm or so. My sister had flown in from Calgary to see Max, so we wanted to get there as early as possible so Kennedy y Ione could get some quality Max time.
We had a great time at dinner and it was nice to see all all the members of the family together. It was nice to have a few of Max’s primos y primas (cousins) there too.
Dinner? La cena? How about pollo y costillas!! All home cooked by Chef Olen!!
It was a long visit for Max but he handled it well. Well…until we got home and he decided not to sleep and keep one of us awake with his vocal cords!! 1am was a feeding and then we managed to get a few more hours until 5am when Bex took over guard duty and I hit the hay solo.

I spent some time planning the route to Huatulco and have finished the USA leg. Leave Vancouver on December 8 and first stop is Medford OR, second stop is Bakersfield CA and then onto Nogales AZ where I will pit stop and then cross into Mexico, early in the morning on Sunday December 11.
Next up is to plan the Mexico portion of the trip. The road to Tepic is great, but based on our first drive down, Tepic to Huatulco averaged 50km/hr and over 500 topes!! It looks like I will head inland and then make my way down the center of the country.
