Buenos noches mis amigos.

Best part of the day? La cena with mis amigos Melon and Stacey and their dos hijo…sons. They are growing up fast…the boys that is!! Ja ja ja

Great eats and nice to chat as well as talk about parenting. Bonus?? Gifts from Kent’s mom Bonny!! Some neat sunglasses and a hand knitted blanket as well. Muchos gracias!!

But getting to Maple Ridge is 45 minutes from North Van with light traffic…how about at 4pm and with the main bridge on Highway 1, the Port Mann, being closed due to an accident?

We shimmied and slighed our way and it only took 90 minutes!! In Huatulco 90 minutes would get us to Puerto Escondido!! Not hating…just stating.

Might have a new plan for boarding as we don’t need to go to Seattle to see the Hawks play (not a great Hawks season), and we prefer Whistler to Mt Baker, so we might just make it an overnight in Whistler, but earlier than planned. Stay tuned.

Other big ticket item today? I came upon a motorcycle stopped in the middle of the road, blocking one of two lanes. The driver was off his bike and talking to a driver of a BMW, who was slumped onto the road, in the lane of the opposite direction.

I guess he had a road rage incident and after he got out of his car, the other driver hit him and ended up bending the driver’s door all the way backwards.

I threw on the 4 ways and which meant no one would come screaming up and plow into the bike, and then I went about directing traffic that was coming the other way.

Couldn’t get the transit buses through, but the rest of the traffic flowed well until the ambulance and fuzz arrived. Seemed to be at least 10 minutes…no sé por que. My good deed done, and not being a witness, I boogied home.

Rest of the day? El gimnasio and a siesta!! Bexico still managed a workout, gave her blood for the rubella test and did some work as well.

Not the most news worthy Thursday, but a fun day.

Stick’s birthday mañana….don’t forget.

Last year? No internet still, we managed to pick up our first FM3s and at Inmigracion, we had met a couple from Calgary, Mike and Alison. Several months later we ended up having some eats with them in La Crucecita.

Have a great Friday all!!

Marco y Bexico
