Buenos tardes mis amigos!!
5pm and I thought I would jot some blog stuff down…while I have the time and am still awake!! Had a great sleep…but I am pooped. Max is fast asleep, we are going to eat some ensaladas and then I think it is nap time for Bubba before mi amigo Senor Lower comes over for a visit.
Great day at el gimnasio. Amazing what a great sleep does for your workout.
I rushed home to pick up the crew as we had Max’s hearing test today.
Who knew that all he had to do was listen to some Bob Marley and if he started swaying to the Rastafarian tunes, he passed the test?
Anyway…what was supposed to take up to 30 minutes, was finished in 10 because Max was a model examinee. The lady doing the test was super…explaining in great detail (a tad too much for us…but more info is better then less) what was going on and why she was doing what she was doing.
Either way, Max’s hearing is great and we decided to go to the mall to celebrate.
And what did we score? How about some swim trunks/diapers that he can wear in the pool without making everyone worried that they are going to see an Oh Henry bar floating in the pool? Score.
Last time we were at the same mall, we went to Sears and they had a ton of summer clothes on sale. Problem was we did not know if Max was a girl or boy, so we did not buy much. This time, not many items left, but for $4 we picked up a nice rash/sun guard. That and all the sun tan lotion mi hermano picked up in St. Louis, Max is spf’d!!
Who knew Energizer batteries owned Hawaiian Tropic too?
And out last purchase was a strand of peppermint lights to make our condo more festive come our return to Huatulco.
And that was our day. Doesn’t seem like much to poop me out…but it did!!
More fotos?
Lil’hombre sleeping.
Mum reading to Max from her Kindle.
Mum y Max waiting for the hearing test.
And last but not least.
This is Bexico when woken up from a deep sleep/nap and having just been told it is feeding time…Max’s…not hers!!
Well…915pm and Max is wide awake next to me on the couch. He is waiting for the gripe water to kick in as he has the hiccups…again!!
I managed a few hours of zzz and now it is Bexico’s turn. Mi amigo could not make it over tonight…too bad. But we will try to rearrange.
So I got up from my nap and cooked some steaks and prawns for dinner. Good eating. Mis padres will be staying overnight next week, so I am looking forward to cooking up another good meal for them. No fish sticks…sorry padre!! Ja ja ja
The cold that was going around our family continues. It is now my turn!! Oh well…I better get used to it.
Have a great Thursday. Nothing extra planned here. Friday is our follow up with the snip snip doctor, the big family get together on Saturday and then the last race of the Nascar season is on Sunday!!
saludos
