Yup...that was the kind of morning The Boys had...one that left both of us with una sonrisa!!
Buenos tardes!! Really looking forward to getting to the optometrist and check on getting some bifocals...then I can type away on this update AND watch some of the Nationwide racing without having to take off my glasses every time I type.
As noted, The Boys had a great morning. Was it because Max slept with his madre last night, and Poppa slept in until 7am? Of course it must be!!
Max had a great noche after falling asleep, but was up at 535am and from his cuna he started talking to his Poppa...until madre stuck her head over the rail and was then greeted with a huge smile.
Too early for videos and he was given the options...guess which one he chose. Stay in the cuna or climb on the bed and have some snuggles with his madre. Duh.
At 7am Poppa took over and madre went back to bed and fell into a looooong sleep. The Boys had their usual rutinas and it included a no yak huge desayunos. Score!!
And very happy to report that we had 2 pre-emptive pee breaks...first time for pre-emptive and it made for a dry bici tour and cleaner pool water when we went down to the CP alberca!!
Post desayunos we headed out on the bici and off to Issssste we went...time to stock up on some garbonzo beans. Then back through centro and grabbed some more muy caro epsom salts and then some eco-friendly gel that Bex uses on Max's legs when she massages them.
Home for some leche and see if madre was still breathing...phew, she was...but her ojo were still cerrado. Oh madre!!
Down to the pool and I am thrilled to report that Max understands the phrase "front crawl" and can now swim all the way across the alberca using some form of the front crawl. Waaay cool to see.
Upstairs for leche y libros and due to the early wake up, Poppa was scheduled for a 1145am scoop and after 10 minutos con padre, Bex came in and closed the show within 10 more minutos. Waaaaay less stress then siesta time used to be...phew.
Only 45 minutos of siesta, but that might bode us well for tonight's bed time...but Max being Max... probably not. Ja ja ja
Max needed some slumber wake up time with his madre and I chowed down a Gorilla Cheese sandwich, sharing a few bites with "perro Max" and then was off to el gimnasio.
The familia ate their lunch and then got ready to go to Gwen's birthday party and I met them at the casa as they were headed out, due home at 530pm for the pollo muslo.
Me? A little casa clean up, some work on repairing the playa Mojon BBQ and now a blog update and some racing. A rough afternoon eh?
The nubes have moved in, but they are not obscura, leaving us some hope for a post cena bici tour or prowl...stay tuned.
And what is the current temperature?
Only 28,0 feeling like 39,0.
Ok, onto the fotos.
On your mark, get set, go to the camioneta verde and retrieve your bici.
How would you like to send your niño to kinder and see this lil'dude come running out to say hola hola!!
On our way to Issssste and Max cautiously approaches this perro as we do not know it's nombre...or if it is "asleep" or really just asleep.
Just asleep...and now awake...so Max says hola hola to her.
Looks like his madre taught him to drive.
Una sonrisa? Yahoo!!
And while I reviewed the last foto on my camera, someone hopped out of the carro and onto the caballo!!
Great tunes playing in Isssste and Max starts breaking into dance moves, which really turns into Max going in circles.
Which leads to this dizzy expression. Oh Max.
Waaaay up in the distance, Max has come upon 3 taxistas and there is only one thing to do...choque them!!
Look Poppa...I choque'd the taxistas!!
And as they get up to move their taxis, one last saludos to Max.
See a puddle, find Max riding through it.
It truly was a muy amable sábado as here is Max giving a choque to yet another of his many amigos.
And from ayer, a chez lounge comida in the living room.
Ok, off to watch some racing and then prep some pollo muslo. Back at you post tina time.
Hasta pronto.
Buenos noches!! Yahoo...we had a dry noche so far and that allowed us to have a much missed post-cena tour!! We bumped into a 50 person parade and joined in...Max seemed to enjoy it...until the dude in the scary costume came running up to him.
As for la cena, Bex y Max arrived home right on time and the report is that they had a fun time at the fiesta. And guess who was the only niño that wanted to take whacks at the piñata? Oh yes, Max "whack'em" Van was laying a beating on the piñata!!
Good dinner...big plateful for the lil'man and then after dessert, a few videos and cocina clean up time, off we went.
Home for a defiant, uncooperative and unappreciated tina time and as I type it is leche y libros time. Max looks pooped but that doe not mean much come bed time. Buen suerte.
Ok, have a great domingo...don't forget race #1 of The Chase is on!!
Hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
