And after a VERY long bici tour...Max still has the energy for a lil'homey boy pose!!

Buenos tardes y brrrrrr.

Ok, maybe not brrr...but feeling like 35,0 grados is waaaay better then in the 40's!! Bit have we set a new record with an 83% humido? We had a sprinkle of lluvia around 3pm and 90 minutos later it feels like we are on a jungle safari...stinking wet.

Not complaining though as I read there was snow in Calgary? Yikes.

Currently 430pm and in 15 minutos the papas a la frances go into the horno and the oh so yummy rib eyes will be ready at 530pm when the familia returns from Tic Toc.

The día? Poppa has made a calculated air con decision 2 noches in a row and has paid the price both times!! Electricity being super expensive, I was banking on the cooler nights and we went to zzzz with the window and bedroom door open as well as both fans blowing.

Two nights in a row I have had to change Max's playera and cuna sheet...soaked with sweat. And then t has taken him 20 minutos to fall back asleep. Argh. The only good news is that I also change the panale and we wake up with a dry sheet...well, one wet from sweat and one dry. Oh Bubba.

Esta noche...hola hola to the air con!! We do reach 26,0 grados, but the humido is still high and by 7am when we are up, it is already 28,0 feeling like 32,0 or so and then it just climbs.

So...after a warm start to the noche and then a 20 minuto mano session at 1am, we slept until 630am...and Poppa until 710am as Max was cheering out loud to his World Word videos.

Usual rutinas...tranquilo time and then the huge desayunos. Then with mainly overcast skies, we headed out on the bici with a plan of returning at 1130am or if we were too stinking hot, sooner.

And we managed to stay out for almost 2 hours...what a loooooong bici tour. Off to my gym, into the canal, down the canal, out of the canal, onto the futbol rapido court, off to an Oxxo near Che and then we worked our way up the median towards home.

And about 10 minutos (by bici) from home, Max stopped, got off his bici and said his legs were sore. Good for him to tell me...and hola hola to a taxi home.

Leg massage from madre, leche y libros and then onto our new siesta rutina which worked pretty good...a lil'hiccup when Max tried to force himself to stay awake in Bex's arms, but he managed to sleep for an hour.

I made my comida and then headed to el gimnasio and the familia had some snuggle y iPad time before coming out for their comida.

It was starting to sprinkle when I came home, and they were headed down for a dip in the CP alberca.

Me? Siesta (kinda) time and then a lil'time with Max as he drank some leche before heading out with his madre.

And that was our uneventful, but full, día so far. Onto fotos?

During desayunos, Max needs something to keep him busy while we eat our breakfast and today it was 3 large spice containers.

Here he has taken a sniff of the taco spice, through the closed lid, and is being very dramatic about the smell. Oh he is one muy tonto niño!!

Oh and that was taco spice...you should see when he smells the pepper!!

Off to the camioneta verde to grab the bici, and I would like Max to turn around and look into the camera so I can take a foto or three.

Whoa...Señor Serio...lighten up just a little?

And this was the final product.

There was a lot of water on the calle, coming from around the corner. Just like during rain storms, where Max can stand and watch cars drive over the wet calles, Max hung out here for 5 minutes watching the taxis bomb down calle Carrrizal and though the agua.

And I heard 7 "maleducados" from max as he pointed to each beer bottle that had been left as litter.

Cruising the canal.

Getting there and out was quite easy, even with the steep slopes. Bici first and then Max and I went down and up solo. Muy facil.

No sonrisa, but Max liked being on the puente, bridge, and looking down at the canal he had just been in.

And he really liked seeing the iguanas.

Ahhhh...the a/c of Oxxo. It has saved us more then a few times!! And of course as we are in there we hear a señorita say "hola Max". Of course we did.

Coca Agua para mi hijo.

Om, you might know the rutina. Off to cook la cena and back at you post tina time. Hey wait a minuto...is there some NFL futbol esta noche? Score!!

Hasta pronto.

Whoa...a 6pm torrential down pour put a damper on the post cena tour/prowl. Doph!!

Bex y Max had fun at Tic Toc but found out it will be closing it's doors...another example of someone who needed to take the Business 101 course before spending all their pesos. Doph.

Not sure if there is another palacio in town, but it may not matter because we are meeting with someone from the local escuela. Yup, time to see if we can get Max to join in for a few times a week, for only an hour or 2 per visit.

We meet with this señora on lunes...stay tuned.

A great dinner...the steaks and fries turned out superb!! Onto some videos, dessert and then Bex y Max had some drawing time in the cocina...he can draw an "M" now!! And then some Play Doh time and then into tina time.

Off to leche y libros and in 15 minutos the musica will start up. Buen suerte to us!!

And that was our día!!

Mañana...Soriana and we will see what else we get up to.

Have a great viernes y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
