Lil'Max checking out his (or mine?) stock portfolio.

Buenos tardes and welcome to a dark and somewhat wet 425pm update. We had some sunny skies in the morning, a mixed bag until 3pm and then dark dark skies, lots of thunder and a few rayos tambien.

The familia had come home from lunch at the taco truck and hit the CP aberca, but with the change in clima, good call to exit the pool.

They are off to the mall...burning some energy on the trampolina I hope!!

As for the rest of the día...a good bedtime, a good noche and up for good at 640am. Onto the usual rutinas and that now seems to include a huge portion of fresh cut fruta during desayunos. Score!!

So...videos, tranquilo time which now includes Max wanting his Poppa to partake..."come play trucks with me Poppa", onto desayunos and then into the camioneta verde.

Max was well behaved this morning, so I promised his a sorpresa, which he equates to an edible treat. Ahhhh...nope.

Off to drop off recycling and then we parked at Santa Cruz, got the bici out and were off to INM. It seems they do not like to make it easy for you...my paperwork has been approve...no word on Bex's yet.

So, let's sum up this year's INM experience. One trip to drop off paper work. Another trip to bring back new paperwork. One trip to the banco to pay the change of status fee. Another trip to INM to bring back the receipt. Another trip to check on the status of our paperwork. Today's trip and after the visit to INM, we were off to the banco to pay the $4000 peso bill.

Mañana we will go back to INM and in 10 days or so, we will go back and pick up my tarjeta.

Once we know Bex's paperwork has been approved, we will go to INM and pick up her $4000 bill, go to the banco to pay it, go back to INM to give them the receipt and then 10 days later, go back and pick up her tarjeta. Phew.

So...after INM, into the banco and then off to Max's sorpresa...el Faro, the lighthouse!! He has been talking about it so much the past few days, so we took the 10 minuto drive and explored the area around it and listened to the bufadero.

No time for climbing down the hill and getting close enough to see it, but if the weather cooperates and Max behaves, the familia will go there mañana!!

The current plan is for The Boys to pop into INM and then drive to el Faro, while adventurous Bex will bici there. There are some pretty steep hills and the last one is a killer...but Bex is going to give it a go.

And after we go check out the blow spout, we will stop in at playa Entrega for some morning "chelas" and maybe a dip.

After we we were at el Faro today, we loaded up and as we were headed to Che, we passed madre on her bici...we clocked her at 50 km/hr!!

Hola hola to madre and then The Boys did their shopping. No "scores" per say, but we loaded up on pollo muslo and grabbed some cerdo molida for meatballs.

Home for leche y libros and the usual siesta rutina...even though Max says he cannot fall asleep with his Poppa...he is slurring words when I pass him to his madre!!

A good siesta, 90 minutos or so. I was outta there and off to el gimnasio and at 140pm Max woke up with his madre laying next to him.

They headed out to the taco truck and then had a centro prowl, while I had a stinking hot workout at el gimnasio.

Post gym, I headed home to prep the ingredients para la cena...chorizo y pollo in a tomato sauce con cebolla y red pepper...mmmmmm.

Post swim Max was riled up so as Bex got ready for her 2nd prowl with the lil'man, The Boys went to the panificadora to grab some pan para la cena and then played peek a boo with madre as she came to retrieve Max.

And now, with 20 minutos to go before I start cooking la cena, onto the fotos.

On the landing, pre-AM tour, and Max is getting ready to pucker up.

Like un gato, Max is waiting for the perfect moment to pounce.

Whizzing around Santa Cruz.

Waving at his shadow.

Waving at his Poppa.

Headed to INM. They opened the door for him and he wheeled right in...Poppa was a full minuto behind and when I got there, Max was talking (?) to the security guard.

From my walk to el gimnasio...flores.

I am headed home and I see this hombre and cannot figure out his business plan.

He has 8 garrafons of agua on his triciculo and is pedalling around town trying to sell them. Using other companies that have trucks, you can get one delivered to your casa for $15 pesos (not sure how clean the agua is), or for $20 pesos using the same company we do.

At Che, the same $20 peso garrafon sells for $17 pesos. Unless this is tap water he is selling, he probably pays $14 pesos and will sell them for $17 or $18, making $3 pesos or 25 cents CDN for each.

That is a lot of pedalling for $2 CDN...if he sells all of them. Yikes.

It was 3pm as I headed home and that is lunch time for most Mexicanos. If you cannot afford to close your tienda to go home for lunch or to go out and grab lunch, it will come to you. It happens via triciculos or peeps walking by carrying sandwiches and the sort.

Here, two such peeps cross paths.

Ok, 10 minutos of tranqilo time.

See you post tina time.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!! Currently 715pm and post tina....Max has decided that tonight he wants to get a Hot Wheel car from the "wall of poo". So, we wait for the lil'man and his business...stay tuned.

Update...just gas. I cannot believe (and neither can you?) that I am updating this info in the blog. Ja ja ja

We are onto leche y libros!! We had a great dinner and managed to keep Max tranquilo enough that we also had a post cena bici tour!! The lluvia we had earlier was more of a shower and it had dried up enough and the lil'man was game for a ride too!!

So, a few more choques with taxistas and a question from a social hombre who wanted to know why Max was not in kinder...since his grand daughter had gone since she was 2 years and 2 meses. Yikes.

I let madre deal with that one as The Boys headed towards the condo.

And that was our día. If the weather is good, we have a full morning and if the weather continues to hold, we are off to playa Mojon in the afternoon.

Misc...I have not yet experienced it, but Bex tells me that Max is really starting to use his español when he is try to talk to lil'Mexicano peeps.

If he wants them to come join him, it is "ven aca" and if he wants them to play with him it is "¿quieres jugar?" and today he learned the verbo "to jump" which is saltar. So cool!!

Have a great miercoles y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
