Fotos? I have not even fixed my hair yet?

Buenos tardes!!

A good day for the Van-Arnold familia!! Bed time last night took a little longer then I would have like, but it was on his own and in his cuna, so that is a success for us.

A false pee alert and other then one more wake up, Max slept through the noche...until 615am.

But we don't complain about 615am anymore!! I sleep until 715am and Max is pooped by 1130am, gets his siesta and can sometimes be asleep by media día. And that is what happened today!!

After 15 minutos of tranquilo time, it was leche time and then videos from 645am until 730am and then some tranquilo time.

Onto the huge desayunos and after that we had a short bici tour and then after a pit stop at the CP, we were off to drop off the recycling and then onto Che.

No scores at Che...other then some beef salchichas para playa Mojon...BBQ miercoles!!

Home for the leche, libros y siesta...and we have started adding a snack to make sure Max no tiene hambre before he goes to sleep.

He had a great siesta, woke up in a great mood and then became cranky'ish pants for 15 minutos or so.

He helped madre do some cooking and then bolted to the palacio to play with his toys.

Meanwhile, I was out the door to el gimnasio and then headed home for some clean up time, tranquilo time and in 10 minutos it is cook time. Hola hola to chorizo y pollo martes!!

The familia managed to eat their comida and then were off to the playa. We are having cooler days, a mix of el sol y nubes, and less humido during the día and then none after 8pm. So, with cooler temps, I am sure they have had lots of fun and will be home soon. Maybe the lil'man will want to do some cooking with his Poppa?

Ok, onto the fotos!!

Our camioneta verde is parked next to this sign and it becomes Max's juguete while he waits for his padre to put the recycling in the truck.

And then you ask him to look at the camera and give you a smile. Oh Max.

Checking for hormigas.

Look at that expression. Who LOVES having his foto taken? I need to go back to my zoom lens as he does not seem to mind if I am further away taking his foto. Hmmm?

But we finally get some tonto-ness (is that a word?) out of him!!

Crowded sidewalks are no issue for Max.

The zocalo is all spruced up.

And after a week away on vacation (in Pochutla?), Polly has come home.

Max y madre having a madre-hijo chat while waiting for Poppa so The Boys could to go to Che.

Oh oh...looks like the box of Raisin Bran does not support 17 kilos.

I see an oops expression and a chuckle out of madre.

Back to mi muy serio familia.

But someone cracks another grin.

And then a laugh.

And the lil'man does not know what to make out of what has occurred. Join the club lil'man!! Ja ja ja

Ok...back at you after tina time.

Hasta pronto!!

Buenos noches!! We are onto libros y leche and then..."the" bed time.

Max y madre had a fun afternoon until Max threw a tantrum as they were trying to leave Tic Toc palacio and come home para la cena.

We can count on less then un mano how many tantrums Max has thrown, but it was no fun para madre. We have seen Max get wrapped up with his amigos and just not want to leave, even after having been given plenty of warning...10 minute, 5 minutes etc.

I saw the same thing when he saw Antonio at the iglesia. He got soooo excited and was jumping and playing and did not want to go.

We kept our ojos on him and just walked away and then stopped just out if his view and then waited the 5 more minutos until he realized his padres were no longer there...and then he came promptly.

Oh the joys!!

We had a good dinner, Max ate another huge plateful and then after clean up, we headed out for a bici tour. A little attitude from Max left The Boys to head home alone and we spotted our amigo from Oaxaca City and gave him a foto of him with Max. He loved it, loves Max and has always been muy amable to all of us.

Home for tina time, clean up and that was our día so far.

Misc

With the nearest Starbucks an 8 hour drive away, Bex has resorted to Nescafe. But, as the grocery shopper for the casa, does anyone know the difference between Nescafe Decaf sin cafeina and Nescafe Classico sin cafeina? Hmmmm?

During desayunos, we have the stereo playing and Max gets to choose the musica. We had just heard Bruno Mars "Marry You" for the 10th time, so it was time to change it up and Max requested "Gone Gone Gone" and then "Blind" (actually called "I Go Blind") and then promptly tells me that the "singer of Blind is Hootie". Muy intelligente mi hijo!!

Mañana...if the weather holds, we are off to playa Mojon post siesta!!

Have a great miercoles y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
