OXXO pit stop and Max is eyeballing the busload of peeps that have come in to grab their cervezas, hielo y chips.

Buenos tardes!! Currently 3pm and with the familia off to the playa, Bubba has the casa to himself...hola hola to race domingo!!

Health updates? Max is good and finishing off his meds...no yakking today. Yahoo!! Bex seems to be waaaaay better and after a noche with the lil'man, she managed another 3 hours of sleep after I took over at 7am.

Bubba health? Hmmmm...slightly better. I had a wacky sleep probably due to taking some Tylenol 3 with codeine, but the headache went from a 10 to a 2 and it still lingers. No sore muscles today, but the energy level is crap.

I managed to keep it together during The Boys morning together, but was pretty much asleep while rocking Max for my 10 minutos of pre-siesta, and then fell asleep on the couch while Bex closed the show with Max, and then was lights out in the bedroom with the lil'man. And how was that sleep?

Both boys must have been tired as there was no stirring until 140pm.

So, last note on health...I have a very sore throat and based on how I feel mañana, I might get some blood work done and then take it to Doc Carillo for his opinion. Stay tuned.

As for the rest of our día...Max had a great bed time...lights out in 25 minutos and slept pretty much straight through the noche. What woke him and all of us up? One very loud and bright thunder and lightning show.

Madre closed the window and turned on the a/c and he slept until 630am. Score!!

Bubba took over at 7am and we had our usual morning and I am happy to see Max eating a little bit more for desayunos as the past few days he has not been into it.

And waiting until he had food in his belly seemed to work well for his medication...phew.

Off for a 2 hour bici tour as it was cooler out and due to all the lluvia, I was sure the alberca was going to be frio, cold.

So we headed towards the industrial section of town, with the OXXO and a galleta pit stop being our goal/. A nice tour and then after our cookies, we took the long way home and I passed the package off to Bex.

Leche y libros and then off for the siesta.

Post siesta we had our comida and then Max wanted some lap time with his Poppa as we watched a little pre-race action. Then it was time to help him get dressed for his outing and it is a ginchie day...we are making progress!!

But first, the prerequisite attempt at having a pee...for Max that is. Plopped onto the niño seat and with nothing happening, I was ready to help him off the baño when Max says "no Poppa" and sure enough...success!!

Who knew I would be so proud of the lil'man...for learning how to pee o a baño??

And with the familia out and you all caught up, onto the fotos.

A few pre-tour poses from the landing. Great outfit but already this playera is looking a lil'small on Max.

Is it me or does he look a lil'spaced out?

Off we go...with a sonrisa tambien!!

Max loves gatos y gatitos and we have come across this one on the sidewalk.

He knows what to do...move slow and then bend over slowly as well. If the gato runs off, it is a scaredy cat.

And if the gato stays, give it a lil'rub.

They may miau at you, telling you they like what you are doing.

And if they rub up against you, you have a new amigo.

And amigos get abrazos.

As we rode away, Max told me that the gato wanted to follow us and then when it didn't Max added "come on gato".

Max has spotted another bandera.

Before entering OXXO, we had been looking at a camioneta that had a flat tire. Oh Max loves his flat tires. So much so that once inside OXXO, he needed to open the front doors and look out at the camioneta.

Our manzana newton pit stop.

We found some tope that were not on a calle, so Max got his fill of going over them.

And this next foto shows us that he DOES listen and that he DOES remember valuable life lessons...like keeping your tenis dry!!

I forgot to pull dinner out of the freezer and I am low on energy, so we are headed out to Los Portales para la cena!!

Back at you post tina time.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!! Gotta say...I am feeling waaaaaay better then I have over the past 3 days!! And have I now jinxed it?

Max is finishing up tina time and I am dripping wet from the humido. How wet you ask?

Not hot, but at 83% humido and no viento...ugh.

A great race!! And now we are down to the final 12 drivers...exciting times in the Nascar world.

As for the familia, they did not even make it to a playa but instead they hit up Pemex so Max could put aire into his llantas, then off to the parque to play some coco bowling...funner!! Throw in a Che pit stop and some bici'ing in the lluvia, and the familia had a full afternoon!!

Home for some leche y tranquilo time and then at 545pm we were off para la cena with our paraguas handy.

Now imagine going to eat dinner in a restaurante at 3pm. It would be pretty empty eh? Welcome to our world as we arrive at 6pm and we are the only peeps in the place as dinner for the Mexicanos is not for another 2 or 3 hours!!

So service is brisk and as usual, friendly. Everyone knows Max and they go to great strides to take care of his wants, like a little quesillo por favor!!

Good eats para la cena and then a quick prowl under a light sprinkle of rain and then home for tina time, leche y libros.

And at 740pm, the musica is about to begin. Buen suerte!!

And that mis amigos, was our domingo.

Have a great lunes y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
