Hola hola!!

Buenos tardes and welcome to an afternoon of hit and miss internet coverage. Welcome to Mexico.

So...how are you? And how are we? Max had a great bed time and then perhaps the longest sleep I have ever seen him have. Asleep at 815pm and after a few wake ups and a few stirs, up for good at 705am, a full 20 minutos after his Poppa had woken up.

Now that is muy raro eh?

And after no complaints about a sore belly and after eating the biggest desayunos he has had in 4 días, we decided to cancel the cita con Doc Carillo. And at 5pm he has maintained his health...phew!!

Bex is all good and Poppa has moved on to a sore upper back and left chest muscle. What the frig?

Not hating, just stating. Heck, el sol is out...no hating today!!

So after Max woke up, he had some video time, play time with his Poppa and then onto desayunos. I am not sure where the morning went, but we did not leave the condo until almost 10am. Yikes!!

Into the camioneta verde and off to Fonatur for the recycling drop off and then The Boys went to check out a site for Max's 3rd fiesta.

Nice place, nice peeps and I have emailed them a few questions. We will try to go visit the hotel again mañana, and then we will need to settle on this place or the beach side palapa/restaurante we used last year.

The big difference this year? More niños and their parents, thus we need something to keep these kids occupied while the parents chillax.

And where to hang the piñata? Ja ja ja

After the hotel visit, The Boys headed to Che and as we pulled in, Bex wheeled up next to us!! She had been chasing her hijo since we were in Santa Cruz!! All that for a beso!! Hello!!!

Adios to madre and into Che where we scored on some cheddar!! Yahoo!!

Home for leche y libros and even though there was a 705am wake up, Max was into siesta land by 1225pm...and awake again at 140pm.

A prowl with his madre and then onto cooking the pollo for his lunch and then time to eat said pollo. I helped Bex get the lil'dude ready as they had a 4pm swim date with Max's amigas, and having not had any energy burning exercises yet, she wanted to get Max a bici ride in before that.

Out the door around 315pm and then it was tranquilo time for Bubba.

No gym yet...not quite ready. Hoping for a playa Mojon miercoles and then back to el gimnasio on jueves. Stay tuned.

So after the clean up, it was time to play "hit and miss" with the internet and that leaves you all caught up.

The muslo pollo is in the oven, the familia have just honked their arrival, so it is time to get la cena going.

Back at you post tina time.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!! Bex and I agree that this has been the most "normal" día we have had in a week!! Finally things have started to settle down and with that, a load of stress is off our shoulders!!

Bex y Max had some fun riding his bici at the skate park and then were off to Gwen's for a swim. Home for la cena and Max ate for 3 niños!! A good size plato full and then needed 2nds!!

A FT con Oma y Opa, some PSY, clean up and then the familia was out for a post cena bici ride. It seems like it has been a while since we had one of those too!! Off to get Max some more massage cream for his legs and then home for tina time and at 730pm, we are onto leche y libros.

All caught up...onto the fotos.

Argh. Poppa? More fotos?

Actually that was Max doing his Hootie and the Blowfish impersonation from their song "I Go Blind". Serio...serious.

And some more 3rd floor landing poses before we headed out to run our errands.

Home Boy.

Who then assumes the position.

Self abrazo.

A few fuzzy closeups.

And from ayer, madre seems to have done very well using the crappy Sony DSC W730. Felicidades!!

Max waiting to see if the wind conditions are correct. ¿Por que?

Hello!! His version of La Danza de los Sarong.

Tongue out...he is gearing up for the grand finale.

And like that, the dance is over.

You like my new barco?

Find a puddle, find Max and his camion and find his tongue out.

Lleno de hojas.

Oh oh...cuidado Danica!! Looks worse (?) then it is?

Hmmm...when I grow up, all these peeps will call me Your Majesty. For now, Princess will do.

Yesterday as I was trying to keep the mood light around a casa full of peeps not feeling 100% well...Poppa took matters into his own hands.

Misc

Instead of working on my resume, oh yes, I decided to spend some time working on THIS instead. Bex tells me the music might not play because it has a copyright, but it is from Louie Jordan.

This is from a post-cena prowl a few noches ago...when we all felt well. There was a slight drizzle, thus the paraguas.

The brief break in the video is when Max sees a taxi drive near his madre and he tells her to be careful. Always looking out for his madre!!

Hey...fin de mes and you know what that means!! Mañana we will be able to share with you our septiembre 2014 weather stats!! Yahoo!!

Mañana...hoping for continued good health for Max y Bex, better health for Bubba and a sunny afternoon so we can enjoy our time at playa Mojon.

Have a great miercoles y hasta mañana.

Rainy day...no fotos from our prowl, so I reached back into the past.

Wacky noche and wacky day.

Bex had a crappy sleep due to the wacky noche, but her health is much better. Bubba has moved on from head aches and muscle aches, to a sore throat, some upset belly and associated plumbing.

Our concern is the lil'man, who has cut back his eating by over half. His huge desayunos is now a chico one as is his dinner, where tonight he had almost none. His issue is a sore belly he tells us.

And without food, we have not given him any medication for his throat infection. Yikes.

So we have set up an appointment for mañana, 11am with Doc Carillo, and we hope to have some answers. It is good that Max can tell us where it hurts or what is bothering him so we are hoping it is something as simple as a belly bug, like the one I think I am fighting.

We might be taking his poop samples to the lab...3 mornings in a row. So stay tuned as this is weighing heavy on Max's very concerned parents.

So...a long and wacky day and along with Max's lack of eating, throw in some morning rain and now we are talking really wacky.

Good news is that other then not eating, Max is pretty much his old self. Silly, happy, defiant and cheeky!!

OK, no fotos from the Canon, but let's see what madre has been up to with the crappy Sony DSC W730.

Here is Maxo holding his Poppa's mano as we are headed to La Casa del Abuelo, Home of the Grandparents.

Having climbed this palma to grab some bowling balls, Max has made a soft landing.

The only bowling alley where you need to wear a helmet.

Psychedelic fotos madre!!

Ok, after a quick bed time for the lil'man...you know Max must not be feeling 100% if bed time was quick...and a lil'blog updating, I have some time for MNF before heading off for the overnight Max watch. Buen suerte Poppa!!

And at 930pm I have already changed one sweaty playera on the lil'guy. Yikes.

Hasta mañana.

OXXO pit stop and Max is eyeballing the busload of peeps that have come in to grab their cervezas, hielo y chips.

Buenos tardes!! Currently 3pm and with the familia off to the playa, Bubba has the casa to himself...hola hola to race domingo!!

Health updates? Max is good and finishing off his meds...no yakking today. Yahoo!! Bex seems to be waaaaay better and after a noche with the lil'man, she managed another 3 hours of sleep after I took over at 7am.

Bubba health? Hmmmm...slightly better. I had a wacky sleep probably due to taking some Tylenol 3 with codeine, but the headache went from a 10 to a 2 and it still lingers. No sore muscles today, but the energy level is crap.

I managed to keep it together during The Boys morning together, but was pretty much asleep while rocking Max for my 10 minutos of pre-siesta, and then fell asleep on the couch while Bex closed the show with Max, and then was lights out in the bedroom with the lil'man. And how was that sleep?

Both boys must have been tired as there was no stirring until 140pm.

So, last note on health...I have a very sore throat and based on how I feel mañana, I might get some blood work done and then take it to Doc Carillo for his opinion. Stay tuned.

As for the rest of our día...Max had a great bed time...lights out in 25 minutos and slept pretty much straight through the noche. What woke him and all of us up? One very loud and bright thunder and lightning show.

Madre closed the window and turned on the a/c and he slept until 630am. Score!!

Bubba took over at 7am and we had our usual morning and I am happy to see Max eating a little bit more for desayunos as the past few days he has not been into it.

And waiting until he had food in his belly seemed to work well for his medication...phew.

Off for a 2 hour bici tour as it was cooler out and due to all the lluvia, I was sure the alberca was going to be frio, cold.

So we headed towards the industrial section of town, with the OXXO and a galleta pit stop being our goal/. A nice tour and then after our cookies, we took the long way home and I passed the package off to Bex.

Leche y libros and then off for the siesta.

Post siesta we had our comida and then Max wanted some lap time with his Poppa as we watched a little pre-race action. Then it was time to help him get dressed for his outing and it is a ginchie day...we are making progress!!

But first, the prerequisite attempt at having a pee...for Max that is. Plopped onto the niño seat and with nothing happening, I was ready to help him off the baño when Max says "no Poppa" and sure enough...success!!

Who knew I would be so proud of the lil'man...for learning how to pee o a baño??

And with the familia out and you all caught up, onto the fotos.

A few pre-tour poses from the landing. Great outfit but already this playera is looking a lil'small on Max.

Is it me or does he look a lil'spaced out?

Off we go...with a sonrisa tambien!!

Max loves gatos y gatitos and we have come across this one on the sidewalk.

He knows what to do...move slow and then bend over slowly as well. If the gato runs off, it is a scaredy cat.

And if the gato stays, give it a lil'rub.

They may miau at you, telling you they like what you are doing.

And if they rub up against you, you have a new amigo.

And amigos get abrazos.

As we rode away, Max told me that the gato wanted to follow us and then when it didn't Max added "come on gato".

Max has spotted another bandera.

Before entering OXXO, we had been looking at a camioneta that had a flat tire. Oh Max loves his flat tires. So much so that once inside OXXO, he needed to open the front doors and look out at the camioneta.

Our manzana newton pit stop.

We found some tope that were not on a calle, so Max got his fill of going over them.

And this next foto shows us that he DOES listen and that he DOES remember valuable life lessons...like keeping your tenis dry!!

I forgot to pull dinner out of the freezer and I am low on energy, so we are headed out to Los Portales para la cena!!

Back at you post tina time.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!! Gotta say...I am feeling waaaaaay better then I have over the past 3 days!! And have I now jinxed it?

Max is finishing up tina time and I am dripping wet from the humido. How wet you ask?

Not hot, but at 83% humido and no viento...ugh.

A great race!! And now we are down to the final 12 drivers...exciting times in the Nascar world.

As for the familia, they did not even make it to a playa but instead they hit up Pemex so Max could put aire into his llantas, then off to the parque to play some coco bowling...funner!! Throw in a Che pit stop and some bici'ing in the lluvia, and the familia had a full afternoon!!

Home for some leche y tranquilo time and then at 545pm we were off para la cena with our paraguas handy.

Now imagine going to eat dinner in a restaurante at 3pm. It would be pretty empty eh? Welcome to our world as we arrive at 6pm and we are the only peeps in the place as dinner for the Mexicanos is not for another 2 or 3 hours!!

So service is brisk and as usual, friendly. Everyone knows Max and they go to great strides to take care of his wants, like a little quesillo por favor!!

Good eats para la cena and then a quick prowl under a light sprinkle of rain and then home for tina time, leche y libros.

And at 740pm, the musica is about to begin. Buen suerte!!

And that mis amigos, was our domingo.

Have a great lunes y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
