Buenos noches amigos!!

And to our American amigos...Feliz 4 de julio!!!

Well we survived getting up early for clase, and it looks like the first 3 hours left no physical scars…maybe a few emotional ones though!!

Great to get back into the learning, picking up where we left off and from a spot where I was already lost. Ja ja ja

We learned some new words…esgrima anyone? That would be “fencing” as in sword fighting!!! Not sure when I will use that word next, but seriously there was some good learning today.

Mañana we pick up where we left off and will practice preterite (past tense) verbos.

A quick review:

Hablo-I speak
Hablas-you speak
Habla-he/she speaks
Hablamos-we speak
Hablan-they speak

Hablé-I spoke
Hablaste-you spoke
Habló-he/she spoke
Hablamos-we spoke
Hablaron-they spoke

So…now we must remember the present tense and past. Guess what is coming next week…in the future. Yup…future tense. Ja ja ja

Well, at least it is better then complementos directos y indirectos!!

It is a full clase and some of the participants are very well versed in español. Sometimes that is to your advantage as they help, sometimes they get frustrated or try to show you up…at this age? Come on peeps!! Ja ja ja

Pit stop at Che despues de clase..and ended up with another carton of bad milk. Argh. Will try and return it mañana and see if they have some better moo.

Bexico hit the hay as she had a poor sleep last night. At least she managed to do some work while she was awake.

But after the power nap, she completed her ejercicio and some more oficina work.

Me? Off to el gimnasio where Rosa was waiting for me to tell her about my day in school!! Ja ja ja

That’s Rosa on the elliptical…sling and all.

It was a great workout and as it was later in the day (didn’t get to the gym until past 1pm), I cam straight home for some sun and cloud alberca time.

Not a bad day for weather, mix of sun and clouds for most of the day and the temps were good…almost no humido as well.

Dinner was some of last night’s chili (see below) and a I also had one of Bexico’s pizzas.

Bexico is back at work and mañana we will call Telmex (ok…Bexico will call) and ask why our service is sooooo slow.

Here is a Telmex service camioneta.

The big “1” on the side of the truck is to tell you how many days it takes to download a 1MB foto!! Ja ja ja But not really funny. After we talked to them on sábado about our service being down, the IP address has changed and the speed is sloooooooow.

La clase de mañana es a las 9-11am with the comida 1-2pm. Despues de comida, I will hit the gym and Bexico will be back at work. Maybe fit some alberca time in there and finish the day with some lomo cerdo!!

Fotos for the day.

Me gusta los colores naranja.

I like all the orange colors.

This senora was picking up her “flock” from escuela.

She had 3 hijas and a niño in the cart.

Onto the mascota (pets) themed fotos.

Look at all these gatos, gatas, gatitos y gatitas.

All at one dirección (address).

And in the sombre (shade) of a palmera (palm tree…who knew?).

Una perra loca!! One crazy dog!! (perro=male…perra=female)

Here is the gas truck that makes the mooooing noise to let peeps know he is around.

And a moto foto.

Doesn’t seem to be a weight limit on this scooter…ja ja ja. Whaaaat? He has two boxes by his feet!!

That’s all amigos.

Hasta mañana.
