Hola Canuck fans!! It is 820pm and we are sitting at Senor Pucks…and the place now has 20 peeps in it…and there are 3 of us that understand hockey!! Ja ja ja

Score is 0-0 after the primero period.

First foto of the day…

No...this is NOT Bexico!! But nobody told me that we might be able to see little hands or feet pushing on Bexico’s belly...from the inside!! Coolio.

And as we now say…we have a bunny in the oven vs a bun in the oven. Ja ja ja

Bexico negocio (business) updates.

Here is the website created by her French contractor Guy.

To save you from having to search the website, here are the links to the work Bexico did for Guy.

Our day was exciting!!

I went to meet Roman and his carpintero in B10 as there were some questions. We chose a support bracket for the kitchen counter/bar counter.

And there was an issue with the new door in the loft so we solved that as well.

Work completed includes the extension for the cama (bed),

The mailbox

And the straightening of the spice shelves.

Today I drove to the gym as we were behind schedule for Mojon and driving saves me 30 minutes total.

Before I got to the camioneta, I ran into Gato Negro. Here is our interaction.

WARNING...NOT for nínos eyes.

“hello Bubba…look what I found”

“would you like to play with it? Here, let me bring it to you."

“anyone coming? Must look both ways before crossing the calle."

Ahhhh…thanks Gato. I let her be...no flirting with Bubba today!!

The gym was empty and I had a quick session and headed home.

Picked up Bexico, who had already had some alberca time!! She loved going down early in the day as the pool is cooler.

Off to Elektra and that was an adventure!! As expected, there are no more w/d like the one we want. So we decided to buy the floor model. We asked Victor if we could get a discount but his boss (jefe) said no…oh well.

So we pull out our cc and here we run into a problem. There are no more units in the computer…so for some reason the one they have on the floor is not in the system either. They cannot print up an order, so it has to be a manual order…no problem for us.

Since it is a manual order…they need us to play cash vs use our cc?? Who walks around with $14,000 pesos in their pockets? They might have more coming in, or be able to order some in 5 days, so we will return next week.

Only issue is that Roman has his plomero installing the water y gas lines, based on the stacking model. Finger’s crossed.

Clarica…it wasn’t the hombres fault…company policy. Our amigos did a great job…or tried to.

There was an hour of our day we would not get back…and we headed off to Mojon.

We stopped at La Bocana as we saw some BIG olas as we drove by.

Here are the fotos from La Bocana.

These are seis oceano y olas fotos.

The outcome? Olas (waves) coming all the way into Adam’s restaurante.

Kinda interested what Mojon was going to look like.

Off we went and there was no stopping at Copalita, coming or going.

And then we got to Mojon…and here are the fotos.

This is normally dry and if it has water in it, it is rain water. This is water from the ocean…300 metros away.

And here is Bexico surveying the situation. Look at the size of the olas!!

And here are some other wave fotos….big surf!!

Here is a foto from last week…when we thought the water was high. Look at the water well and the wall behind it.

As of today, the olas have washed away 2 feet of sand from this same wall.

And the same from the water well.

While ocean water got into our other well.

And left only one of 8 fence posts along the front of our property.

Otro (other) playa damage.

The view looking up the playa towards the “hotel”.

The hotel itself.

This is Terry’s property at the other end of the playa.

He only lost a corner of his retaining wall, but the waves did come to the top of the wall.

UPDATE

10pm and with 19 seconds left…Canucks score!!! Game over and Canucks win!!!

Now back to the fotos.

Here is the Brit’s old casa and they lost a big chunk of their retaining wall. Close call as their alberca is visible.

And in the fotos…curious Bexico.

Well..this changes build plans!! Ja ja ja. Word around town and the playa is that they have never seen this before. And we have been in and out of Huatulco for years and have never seen this either. Big storm out at sea and high tides is the explanation I have been given.

The waves were still coming onto our property so we decided to head home and have some alberca time.

Last Mojon foto…a homeless crab.

On the way we drove down a road we have never been on and I took these fotos.

SS Minnow.

A pequeña playa.

Some muy caro (very expensive) casas.

Tangolunda. The olas are right up to the palapas at one of the hotels.

It was hot so Bexico stayed in the camioneta as I went to take the fotos.

Not a bad looking truck with 200k km on it!!

After these fotos it was alberca time and then a small meal before we went out to Senor Pucks.

We had some eats and a few bebidas (beverages), chatted up Lanny and Karen joined us for most of the game. Great to catch up and Bexico was VERY thankful for the box of Fibre 1 bars that Karen y Randy brought back from their trip to Canada. Gracias!!

Randy…hope you are felling better soon!!!

We have a few Puck fotos and will show those to you mañana.

11pm and you are all caught up.

Our mañana…banco to pull out some pesos in case we need to pay $$ for the w/d, off to el gimnasio, alberca time and we will see what else happens. Bexico is on stand by, but has lots of peeps she is waiting on.

Have a great jueves…fin de semana is around the corner.

Marco y Bexico
