Hola amigos. 730pm and we await la cena to finish cooking in el horno.

We actually have no lluvia as I type…first time all day. It has been torrential and courtesy of Daniel at Gabriel’s, here is why.
The black arrow points to Huatulco and the big storm is hurricane Beatriz. Due to being located near the isthmus, Huatulco rarely sees the tropical storms or hurricanes. Good to know!!

Currently 25 grados, but it feels like 30. Humido has returned, but nothing like it was when the temp was 35 and felt like 45. But everything feels damp…need to figure out how to solve that.

El doctor told us that maybe 10 years ago when the last hurricane came close, the amount of rain in the montañas almost over flowed these aqua ducts!!
Talking about the doctor, we had our week 20 visit and all is great!! We had the 30 minute plus ultrasound and based upon what we had read online, he checked all the items he was supposed to.
He has 2 ultrasound machines, and his newer one is descompuesto, so he uses the older 2D model, making the fotos less then frame worthy. Ja ja ja. Bexico and I are ok with that as we only want a saludable (healthy) níno and don’t plan on spending too much time looking at ultrasound fotos.
Bexico asked and the doctor told us he DOES know the sexo of our níno…but we are waiting for the sorpresa!! Bexico thinks she already knows.

Bexico thinks her Madre has the same copy at home in K-W. This painting hangs in the ultrasound room and el doctor was really confused why we took that foto!! Ja ja ja
UPDATE
RJ has confirmed that yes, this painting is in KW...hanging in Bexico's old room.
The rest of the day? Bexico has been working hard and took time out for her ejercicio. I drove to the gym and stopped at Che on the way home.
El gimnasio was deserted because of the rain. But there were a few buckets collecting the rain coming through the leaky roof!! Had a good workout and chatted up Paco about how slow the internet is. He works at Telmex and cannot believe 30mbps is available in Canada!! Lol
Memo arrived and he was excited about surfing the SportChek.ca website and seeing the 28 pairs of size 13 shoes that are available for him!!
Had a good workout and then grabbed some groceries for la cena. Also ran into Karen y Randy…on their way into Che to buy some cheddar cheese!! Ja ja ja
Saw this bumper sticker on a car parked outside the gym.
The car is from DF and when I took the foto, the owner stuck his head out of the gym window and made a comment about the Nucks being 2nd best. I said proximo año and he agreed…next year!!
We have had our ensaladas and some more fresh pan (baguette). That stuff is sooo good….and bad for you!!
