Yelling at his Poppa to "come down", Max has been a good niño, patiently waiting on his "green square" while Poppa ran the pollo y molida res upstairs and stashed it in the freezer!!
Buenos tardes. First off...Feliz Aniversario to mis padres!! Happily married for 57 años!! Felicidades!!
The tos is still around, but I am happy'ish to report that I am on OTC meds and even managed to go to el gimnasio for a light work out.
Currently 330pm and the familia will be back from their centro tour by 445pm and we have an early dinner esta noche. It will be 5pm for salmon and chuletas de cerdo because we hope to make it to Santa Cruz at 6pm'ish to see if Santa shows up.
The school were we attempt to take Max, is having some sort of Navidad event tonight and we have been invited. The invite says 6pm...thus the "ish" which is truly something that takes getting used to when you live here.
As for the día...a good bedtime that started off with 15 minutos of tears and non-stop "but I miss my momma". It all worked out and then a pretty good noche with a 2am pee break but once Max found out madre was on watch duty, he was up for good at 545am.
I was up at 7am and The Boys did what The Boys do in the morning. Bex hit the oficina for some work and then was out the door, to return at 1110am or so. She had some yoga, a paddle (I think) and then a cafe with an amiga.
The Boys had play time, the bowl of fruta, pan frances in the cocina and then we watched the letters L, M and N.
Out the door for a bici tour with 2 missions in mind. Hand out lots of tarjetas de Navidad as well as the Navidad bonuses we give the trabajadores that work at the CP.
We managed to hand out 6 of 7 bonuses, and everyone loved the card and thanked us for what they knew was in the envelope. The one person that surprised me was Hector, who does not often show a lot of emotion.
He was on the 3rd floor landing, so Max went out and gave him both items and told Hector "Feliz Navidad". Hector said gracias and then asked Max for an abrazo, hug, to which Max complied. Muy amable Max y Hector!!
We saw Ricardo near Doc Carillo's oficina, and handed out his items and the person who seemed to be the most excited to receive the tarjeta de Navidad was the señora who sells Max his Crown Royal/.
He stood on their counter, gave her the card and wished her a Merry Christmas and she promptly asked Max if he wanted to have some chocolate. I must learn to pause and politely say no...I yelped out no and then quickly had to explain why...no mas azucar por favor!!
We took the chocolate anywho and as we were leaving, the señora barked at young hombre working, to get Max a jugo out of the cooler. This kid jumped at the order and off we went, loot in mi mochilla!!
Off to Poopie Loopie and if you pop in, you will see Max's card pinned to their cork board!!
Home and then into the camioneta verde and off to drop off a card with Tony and his Poppa and then onto Soriana. No scores, but we did pick up most of the items on our list.
Home for leche y libros and the lil'man was pooped out and lights out within 20 minutos of siesta time. Score!!
I grabbed some of that action and we were up at 120pm and Max scrambled over me and was outta there.
Comida and some clean up and then I ran into the familia as they were headed out.
I hit up el gimnasio and then pit stopped into Che for a few things Soriana did not have...bed time panales, turkey slices, fake snow so we can show Max that Santa was here on Dec 24, and then I scored on some queso cheddar!! Yahoo!!
Home for a light clean up, throw in a load of wash and ta-da...you are all caught up.
Lean on fotos. Mas mañana, and we might score on some tonight.
Off to the alberca to find Marcos and give him his tarjeta.
Looking for otro trabajadores.
Escaleras are not an issue.
But just because he can take the stairs does not mean we do not need to still be extra vigilant with him. As we were touring down a sidewalk, Max stopped paying attention and as I barked at him to watch out, he drove right off the sidewalk and ended up laying on the calle, flat on his belly.
He was not going fast so there were no injuries, but he was shaken up due to the fact that he ended up on the calle and knows how pelligro it is.
No need making him feel worse then he did, but we did review the calle rules and the fact that he needs to pay attention. An abrazo, a deep breath for both of us, and off we went.
Last foto...just what Huatulco needs...another polleria and this one comes with a crooked smoke stack!!
Ok, back at you post tina time.
Hasta pronto.
Buenos noches!! Bed time is under way...buen suerte!!
The familia came home early from their tour and Max and I sat on the couch and watched the last 15 minutos of the series finale of Ice Pilots. Max loved watching the guys jump out of the airplane and seemed to be intrigued by the fact that his Poppa had done so as well.
Some tranquilo time while la cena was cooked and then we chowed down. Max really wanted some of his chocolates and told us he was finished dinner. Ahhhhh....no. He realized he needed to clear his plato and went into sub sonic mode to finish the job!!
Clean up and then we were out the door for Santa Cruz. And at 630pm sharp, the 6pm show started!! Meanwhile we had a lil'ball of energy with us...thank goodness the Christmas carols started and Max's dancing at the same time!!
We saw the 1-2 year olds on stage and then decided that Max was going into code red over drive...our tranquilo noche depended on us leaving, and thus we did. Nice to be out and nice to see the niños, but too late for us and too late to hang around waiting for St Nick.
Home for tina time ans ta-da...bed time.
That's it for today mis amigos.
Buen fin de semana y hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
