Galleta pit stop sonrisa.
Buenos tardes!!
Currently 315pm and Max has made a change in plans for the familia. Instead of Tik Tok, they are off to the mall and it's trampolina and then probably for a prowl around centro, taking in the zocalo for some more bubble chasing.
Me? Type away, then clean up the casa and then hola hola to some Poppa tranquilo time.
The día? A good bedtime and then madre y padre had date night and sat on the couch and watched a flick via Netflix. Of course we were too tired to watch all of it and will finish it off esta noche.
Max had a great sleep with Momma Bex on Max watch. A 1130pm pee break and then a solid sleep until 645am. Score!!
I had a good sleep until a complete hackfest at 5am. Asleep at 6am and I slept in until 730am. Score!!
Poppa took over while Bex did some oficina work and some stretching...not the best mattresses here.
The Boys had the usual rutina...fruta, cereal, cooked some huevos revueltos and then cleaned up.
I had asked Max if he wanted to go say hola hola to Raphael, mi amigo, but Max said he wanted to say hola hola to Tony instead. Good idea...and quite the tour.
A later start to the tour so I figured swim time was out, and off we went. Twenty minutos into the tour we pit stopped at Oxxo and had a good 15 minuto break. Another 20 minutos to Tony's taller and we spent 10 minutos chatting them up.
Both Tony and his Poppa were impressed with Max's español, but more so that Max asked to come and visit them.
Back the way we came and about 10 minutos from home, Max had saddle bum...sore from the ride. He had lots of energy and skipped his way home as Poppa carried the bici y casco.
Home for 2 bottles of leche, some libros and then a good siesta. We have seen a change in his siesta habits and he seems to be asleep by 1155am and then has a solid sleep right through until 130pm'ish.
Good for all of us as he is a different niño if he does not get that good siesta.
I was up and out the door for some pollo at Poppie Loopie and then some burger buns at SCA, and the familia was into cook time and then comida time.
Poppa helped his lil'man finish his comida and then after some goofing around, Max got ready to go and ta da..the familia was out the door.
Our día so far, so onto the fotos.
Pre-tour, Max is scoping out the route we will take.
Off to the camioneta to retrieve the bici...and the expressions that accompany the short prowl.
Look Poppa...el gato.
A banner day....if you are into llantas and llantas ponchada, flat tires.
And outside Bulmaro's taller, shop.
Oxxo pitstop for a galleta and due to the shortage of Coca Light in Huatulco, Poppa had a Coke Zero...ugh.
Relaxing, as Max calls it.
What a process!! Around the corner from my gym, the Fonatur gang are laying a new calle, made up of concreto. They are on day 7 and you cannot drive on it for 2 weeks. Yikes.
Sidewalk access for wheelchairs and lil'amigos on a bici is not a concern for this tienda.
Scoping some hombres prowling in the empty canal.
A Mexican thing..."aguas" for sale on a street corner.
Wrong settings, but I managed to grab a quick shot.
Later, he drove by again and was too close for a foto with the zoom lens, but he gave us a big wave.
And spotted on a roof near Tony's taller (tai-yer), the loudest and smallest perro we have seen in ages.
If you need a haircut, you can go visit Lis.
A bassinet spotted hanging outside a polleria.
Homey Boy Max Van had a sore bum from the long bici ride, so he decided he wanted to "walk all alone".
But first there was a distraction.
And after playing with the branch, there was a little extra umph in his walk.
Señor Curio almost home.
Ok, off to do some cleaning and then have a tranquilo afternoon. Bubba burgers at 530pm.
Back at you post tina time.
Hasta pronto.
Wow...what a difference the Christmas season makes to the amount of peeps in town!! Just back from our post cena familia prowl and the town is hopping. Yup, lots of güeros, but mainly a huge influx of Mexicanos are here.
As for the afternoon...good trampolina jumping and then off to blow some bubbles in the zocalo. All good there until madre heard a choque, collision, and then saw two niños walking around like they were seeing birds floating in front of their ojos.
Yup, Max and un otro niño were chasing bubbles and had a good head bang. Hard enough to make Max cry and hard enough to make the otro niño walk around in a daze!!
But it turned out a-ok and then they were home for some tranquilo time before we all ate yummy Bubba burgers and the fries that went with them!!
Clean up, one video and then out the door for the prowl.
Tina time and now Max is on his 2nd bottle of leche and will be off to libroland.
And that was our día!!
Mañana? Hola hola to NFL domingo!!
Have a great Sunday y hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
