Oh yes, Max, Poppa y Hombre Araña all went to Casa Pepe today!!

Buenos tardes from oh so tranquilo playa Mojon. But...I gotta ask...what pri*k drove his truck through our lot, down to the playa, stole the big logs from our Fin de Año stock pile of madera, and then drove away the same way they came?

You can steal our wood, but not our NYE celebration!! No crisis...we will start a new search.

Can you say "holy hot"? When we arrived at 2pm'ish, there was no viento, at least a 33,0 grado heat...and then Bubba cooked some dawgs over the carbon fired BBQ!!

But, at 410pm, the viento has returned and under the palapa it is wonderful!!

We ate our comida and after Poppa did some clean up, he thought he would have a tranquilo prowl down the playa, solo. Ahhhhh...no. For the first time in a long time, Max came running down the beach to catch up with me, and walking was not what he had in mind.

Low tide, chico olas...off for some wave crashing we went!!

Madre moseyed her way down the playa, joined us in del mar and then Poppa worked his way back to the playa...only to be followed by the lil'man again.

Off to his rocks for some climbing and after madre came to take over, I continued my prowl...with a lil'shadow catching up to me. It was truly an "I love Poppa" kinda afternoon.

And fresh back from his prowl, and sitting next to me having some leche...the lil'man!!

A little blurry....using PhotoBooth off my old MacBook.

Truly kicking back!!

The familia off to play on Max's "rocket ship" and that left me with some time to spend on cleaning some basura off the playa, and moving the last of our firewood.

Max has left the palapa...off for a clean up, probably a bici ride and then we will hit the road at 5pm'ish.

The rest of our día?

820pm lights out and after a 1230am pee break, it was lights out until 4am. Max was probably hungry due to his lack of dinner, so we had some toss and turn from 4am-610am when we had the final wake up. Final for Max that is.

Usual rutinas after that and happy to report that 99% of the "bumps" on Max's skin have disappeared!! Also happy to report that there was no tos, cough, until we exited the alberca. And throw in a healthy sized desayunos and all those signs point to the lil'man being healthy.

I am sure he has a throat irritation, but it did not bother him until The Boys were super tonto in the pool and he had some agua in his boca. No meds to help him fall asleep...just 2 teaspoons of bee poo...honey.

As for the morning activity? We sure picked a stinking hot day to bring the carretilla out of the camioneta verde!! We wheeled it to Casa Pepe and then onto SCA for some huevos, and by that time we were both dripping wet, Max was telling me he was "stinking hot" and adding that he wanted to swim...now por favor!!

Madre joined us for a dip and then she was off while The Boys had super fun. Upstairs for the leche y libros, onto the siesta and after a truly pleasant drive to the Playa, here we are!!

Onto the fotos.

Ready for the prowl.

Pit stop to look for some limons, but we are out of season for this arbol.

Max thinks he is being followed.

But he plays it cool.

Today, after the 10th person said "hola hola" to him, he turned to me and said "people like to say hello to me". Yes they do Max.

The newest Fonatur tapa inspector on the job.

Max y Spidey hanging out at Casa Pepe, just munching on some Cheerios.

Hot, stinking hot...and this is with short hair!!

To open a tienda de ropa here in Huatulco, you need ropa, something to hang then on, a chair, a sign and a sidewalk. As spotted outside the soon to be closed Issste.

Ok...familia is off on the bici...time to pack up. Back at you post tina time.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!! Bedtime is under way and in 20 minutos, I report for duty!!

A great afternoon at the playa and we hit the road at 510pm.

Max was quite intrigued when we picked up 2 hombres walking the 2km dirt road back to the highway. They hung onto the roof rack and had their feet on the side bars, and I went slow...with Max asking why we had amigos on the outside of the truck.

Before we move on, with my camera in hand, I managed to get the lil'man to look my way 4 times!!

Go go go once we got home, but we had a great dinner, some clean up and then it was time for one video and then into the tina.

The Christmas lights are lit, and Max is quite excited. I think the arbol de Navidad is going up this week tambien and Bex found out that he is looking for Santa to bring him a Spiderman truck for Christmas. Buen suerte Santa!!

Hey...I missed both RJ's birthday on lunes, and Melon who had his ayer. Sorry about that mis amigos y Feliz Cumpleaños!!

Buen noche y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
