The lil'man, ready to sit by the fire and read some Christmas tales.

Buenos tardes. And as Max is in the kitchen helping his madre make more banana muffins, we have moved him away from the open flame of the oven as he has proclaimed "Momma...I have gas!!".

On the subject of bowels, Max had some morning business today. Muy raro as it has been an event he had been saving exclusively for during dinner time.

Anywho...as lil'man parades around proudly, he throws it in reverse and says to me "check", meaning his panala. I am like...."ahhhhh...no, I'll take your word for it".

Onto the bed to change into ginchies and before unleashing the fury, Max throws in "it is a dangerous one". Ahhhh...thanks for the warning.

Where did this lil'character of ours learn all this?

Currently 145pm and with the tos still in full force, no el gimnasio for Bubba. But with the familia headed to the alberca for a swim and then a bici, I will join them for a dip and some sol before retreating back upstairs.

As for the día so far? You know about the long bedtime, but we had a great noche and a 635am wake up. Happy to report that the later wake up did not affect siesta time and the lil'man was lights out before noon.

The Boys had their usual morning, minus Poppa's 630am-715am cat nap as by the time pee break and leche time was up, it was already 7am.

I slumbered during Max's 15 minutos of videos...I hung out over the cuna and asked questions about what was going on in WW and what the plans for our día were going to be like.

Usual morning rutinas, a bowl of fruta, some cereal, some huevo and bagel as well as some ferocious Lego building.

Bex was go go go...yoga, home, off to meet amigas, home, off to meet an otra amiga and then fight the crowds at the tienda de fruta y verdura.

Oh yes...Huatulco is packed full of Canadians, a few Americans and a ton of Chilangos.

Post clean up, The Boys watched a few Max Van home videos before gearing up and heading out on the bici.

The plan? Zip through the industrial section to drop off cartas (tarjetas) de Navidad to Bulmaro and Raphael and then off to Soriana to get a refill on the jarabe, syrup, I am taking.

Hey....2pm update. No Handy Manny videos for Max today...with his comida in front of him, he is watching the classic Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer!! Burl Ives...recognize his voice anywhere!!

Back to the day.

Great tour and then as we were about a block from home, Max ran out of bici steam and wanted to walk. Okee dokee.

Home for some leche and then after a change, into the CP alberca for another chilly dip.

Back upstairs to say hola hola to madre y Feliz Navidad to Griselda, and then onto mas leche y libros.

Good siesta for Max and Poppa grabbed 30 minutos tambien. Up at 115pm and onto the baking and ta da...our día so far.

Hey...a ton of fotos, so let's get to them.

Dude...what was in those brownies?

The 3rd floor landing poses must include a yawn.

Looks like a bad mug shot.

That's better.

See pile of hojas...must zoom zoom.

Maybe it is the spirit de Navidad, but I was scoring on lots of sonrisas, smiles.

And a wave to his Poppa.

And un otra sonrisa!!

Dinosaur pit stop.

Post Soriana and we need to walk down 5 flights of stairs to get back to the calle. I think Max has decided to ride the wall down.

Lil'dude is strong!! And actually the bike always goes down the wall solo.

Pooped out look....giving someone the ojos.

And then looking at his Poppa to see if I feel the same way.

I asked if we could hold manos on the way home, and his reply was "I just want to walk alone".

Maybe he just had some things to think through? Tough being a 3 year old.

I just had some Max time...The Boys laying on the bed listening to a little Bruno Mars via the earphones.

But as the timer for the muffins just went, I was told "goodbye" and off he went.

Hey...any Entourage fans out there. Exciting times with the new movie coming out. Click HERE if you want to see the trailer.

Muffin break...lil'man is back and wants to stay on the bed and get fed muffins by his Poppa.

Ok, off for another tranquilo afternoon in Huatulco. Back at you after our dinner out and post tina time tambien.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!! Oh oh....915pm and the lil'man is finally asleep. The good news? Galletas and leche left out for Santa...AND Max fell asleep with his Poppa.

But he was exhausted, it just took some time to wind down.

The rest of the día? A good swim amongst all the old folk Canadians doing Jello-shots using syringes.  Flashback to the 80's!!

I then headed up to wrap some regalos and to get us ready for esta noche...hello...need to pick out an out fit for the lil'man!!

The familia swam, dried off and then got ready for a fun prowl through centro. I think they bought a bubble making tool and went bubble crazy!! And some niña joined in and all 3 of them had fun.

Home to get changed and then off to la cena. Max was hambre, hungry, but he was a well behaved niño....thanks to madre packing all the niño tools. Hola hola to Lego y libros.

But...funky soup, ensalada with blue cheese and then mahi mahi cakes that were supposed to be crab cakes were not up to snuff for the lil'dude. He saw the cake and told us his dinner was done. Ahhhhh...no.

We gave him a few pieces of the yummy pork and told him he needed to eat that before he could eat cake...and ta da.

He only wanted the top part of the cake...no custard...just like his Poppa, whom he started called Dad today.

In between courses, The Boys left the building for a few prowls, had some Lego time and some "eye spy" time, and like I said, he was a good niño.

Home, skipped tina time, laid out the eats for St Nick and off to bed.

And you are all caught up.

Have a great Christmas Eve, enjoy some of Oma's shortbread cookies if you have them and mañana....Feliz Navidad!!

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
