If you want to see more fotos of Max at escuela, we will have to convince him to stay longer then 10 minutos!!

Buenos tardes!! And heard coming out of the kitchen as Max y Bex cook some huevos? "Excuse me...I have gas." And of course..."cook eggs!!". Max said some funny things too!!

Ahhhhh frig...Poppa is enfermo again. I am lethargic and have some tos. Why o why? So...no el gimnasio today, but I might pop out to get our 2014 tarjeta de Navidad printed.

Thank you to Bex, who is already super busy with work, for making the card!!

Here is the original foto that was the inspiration.

I might need to get the original printed as well, as many peeps that live in Huatulco, may have never seen the sign as it is on the way to Tangolunda.

Ok, the día....

After finishing work at media noche, Bex had Max watch. I took him for his squirt and then passed him off and of course, of course, he had a great noche!!

Thrilled for the two of them, but left scratching my cabeza, head.

Up at 630am and I took over at 7am. Bex geared up and was out the door for another paddle board adventura and The Boys had their own, but in the Palacio.

Fruta and some playing and then into the cocina for a bagel before brushing dientes and gearing up.

A few videos...hola hola to letters G, H and I and then off we went. School was the plan and it was going to be the Boys only today.

Ten minutos playing and then Max's chica amiga Renata arrived and tried to lure him into the clases. He was not going without his Poppa and so off we went.

Gotta say...super nice peeps but what we are finding is that is not the place for Max. They have 3 classrooms, one with babies, one with 1 and 2 year olds and one with 3 year olds.

The babies cry, the other class had the zombie niños and the last class had everyone sitting quietly at one long table. Not sure what the plan was...maybe snack time? But Max is not ready to just sit at a table...we are still looking for play time and more play time.

So, after 10 minutos and $20 pesos, we packed up and left.

The super friendly peeps want us to come back and tell us 1145am is play time...right in the middle of Max's siesta. Don't the other niños nap?

We will continue our search and we feel good in the fact that Bex y Max have lots of play time with other niños, just not with any structure around it.

It will be good to be back in Canada where we can sign him up for sports and he can be with the other niños and burn off a few kilowatts of energy at the same time.

Only 1015am, so off for a 45 minuto bici tour. Hola hola to the papeleria to grab some chalk and an eraser for Max's regalo de Navidad and then onto the campo and finally a pit stop into SCA for huevos and some more tortillas.

Home for leche, libros and he was asleep by 1150am.

Poppa joined in and was asleep by 1215pm. Great siestas for both as Max was up at 130pm and Poppa followed at 140pm.

Typical post siesta hijinks with Max...he had to pee but did not want his madre to help and he did not want to do it himself.

In comes Pee Poppa...I scooped him up, off came the siesta panale and we went horizontal for the 2nd time today. All good and all was good afterwards. What up with niños and their baño phobias? Yikes.

Onto comida for Max, popping into the bedroom every 2 minutos to show me what he has in his boca, and foe me...onto updating y'all.

Ok, onto the fotos.

Pre-tour climb, outside our puerta.

Excuse me? Whose manos are those?

I was buying chalk and Max was saying hola hola to his amigo.

Complete stop...followed by a request for "more Cheerios y pasas please Poppa".

I was asked to take this foto, so here it is.

Getting good use out of an old satellite dish.

Heading back from the campo, we saw this hombre lacing up another silla.

Wonder why Max wears through so many pairs of tenis?

When a niño comes across a globo.

Score!!

He will kick up dust clouds at the campo for 20 minutos, but will ensure he keeps the tenis dry.

Off to Foto Conejo...back at you post tina time.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!!

Well...that was an interesting afternoon!! Less then an hour after the familia had headed out for the afternoon, they returned and Max was an unhappy niño.

The issue? an irrational melt down brought on by the fact that there is a little fair here in town, a circus Max calls it, and he wants to go to it.

No problem his madre says, but they have not finished setting up and it won't be open for a few days. Ahhhhh....melt down!!

She wasn't getting anywhere with him and his circus fascination, and he wanted his Poppa, so they came home.

A few minutos to calm him down and then I asked 2 questions. Do you still want to go to Tik Tok, and do yo want to go with madre o Poppa.

Yes, with Poppa was the answer. Yikes...not really but there goes the tranquilo afternoon.

Before we left, we had a chat about the circus....there is no one there to turn on the rides and lights, and YES, when they arrive, madre, padre and Max will go.

All good and off The Boys went. Pit stop into Soriana to buy a new juicer and a Coca Light and then off to Tik Tok. I knew the building it was in, but had never been there before, so Max very proudly showed me how to get there and to climb the stairs to get to the Palacio.

And then he went bonkers for almost an hour. Geeez Louise....he ran and ran and jumped and bounced. And for some reason we don't think sitting in a classroom at a table is the right thing for him? Ja ja ja

Time to go and Max was a good niño and helped put away some of the plastic fruta and balls.

Home for leche and then due to the fact that Poppa forgot to thaw out something para la cena...hola hola to dinner out at Los Portales.

Good food and good service!! Max ate a plateful plus, said hola hola to the meseros as well as slipped in a few gracias as the food arrived.

Handed out a few tarjetas de Navidad to some Los Portales amigos, and then after paying the $480 pesos, propina included cuenta, off we went for a quick tour through the zocalo and then onto home for tina time.

Currently 740pm and I have 10 minutos to finish this up before heading in to close the bed time show.

I managed to take some fotos at Tik Tok and here they are.

Max and amigo...who had the same level of energía as Max did. Yikes doble!!

Tight squeeze.

The first go did not end well, but he got the hang of it. Still....muy pelligro para niños!!

The señorita working at The Palacio told me that these next fotos were the norm for Max. I guess he is well known there. Yikes.

And how sweaty did Max get?

And how come he became so sweaty?

That would be running back and forth in Tik Tok, grabbing plastic verdura y fruta and bringing them back to a mesa near where I was seated.

More fruta arrived via his chico amigo.

Using a USB key to get the tarjeta de Navidad printed, and I came up with these old school fotos.

Ok, you are all caught up.

Have a great viernes y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
