A colorful pit stop as Max waits somewhat patiently for his Poppa.
Buenos tardes!! NFL domingo is on hold as Max eats his comida and watches some Caillou...but after that...yahoo!!
The big game of the día will be at 330pm...Seahawks vs 49's!!
The día so far? A rouuuuuugh bedtime. After some crying (Max), I gave him a rock and he was still awake. So after an hour of trying, I was ready for the co-pilot to come in and Bex managed to close the show after another 25 minutos. Yikes.
Why the long bedtime? Who knows, but he could have been wired due to all the excitement of the fiesta he attended.
Anywho...Bex took Max watch and had a so-so noche. Awake from 415am-445am and then after a rock, both were lights out until 630am.
We must do some more reading in regards to sleep training because at 3 years old, we can count on one hand how many times Max has slept through the complete noche. Yikes.
I was up just before 7am and took over Max watch. Bex headed to the oficina for some work, she has lots right now, and then was out the door before 8am...headed for another paddle board adventura off of playa Santa Cruz.
The Boys had their desayunos and I was thrilled that Max not only wanted to cook some huevos revueltos, scrambled eggs, but he also devoured them.
It has been months since we had some because he had given up eating them...too chewy he said. But today's batch was well done'ish and he loved them, with ketchup of course!!
Madre came home in time to say adios, and off The Boys went. We had an hour or so, so off to the industrial section, down along the canal, up by Jessic and then home.
A pit stop at home and then off to the chilly CP alberca. The Boys had some tonto time and once I saw Max's lips turning blue...time to head upstairs.
Very little leche, doph, and some libros and then off to siesta land. Crappy bedtime and not the longest sleep led to a full 90 minuto siesta...Poppa grabbed 30 of that!!
Awake at 115pm and onto the regular rutina of cooking some huevos con su madre, and then onto the banco to watch a few minutos of futbol americano before Caillou came on the screen.
All caught up with our día so far...onto the fotos.
Pre-tour poses from next to the CP parking lot.
Pre-tour sonrisa?
And some tontoness (new palabra) tambien.
Just outside the CP gates.
I asked for a wave and got "the dance" as well.
Pee break before we left the condo, a horizontal pee break 5 minutos down the road, and another horizontal one, yes another one, 30 minutos after that one!!
At least Max is no longer afraid to go and it sure makes the rest of our tour and/or prowl much more enjoyable for all of us!!
Many perros in town are not pets, but used strictly as security. This one, 20 feet above us, was one of those.
Near el gimnasio, I have walked down a bache filled calle for 4 years. They have finally gotten around to fixing it and I think it will be concreto when it is completed.
Odd site...a bloque de hielo in the canal...melting.
Not an odd site...Max talking to himself.
After zoom zooming down the sidewalk, the lil'man has returned.
Having been given the green light to zoom zoom to the poste, off Max goes.
Hmmm...I wonder what Homey Boy Max Van is looking at?
Homey Boy Mono!! It was a sign on the building next to Jessic Importaciones.
When I showed him the two fotos, it made him laugh.
Pemex pit stop for agua and some aire in the llantas.
Right before we got home, someone was pooped out from the long tour and started walking his bici home. I asked for one last foto and I was pleasantly surprised to see a sonrisa on his face.
Adios Caillou...hola hola Aaron Rodgers!! NFL domingo has arrived.
Back at you post tina time.
Hasta pronto.
Wow...great game if you are a Bills fan.
Buenos noches!! Currently 7pm and bedtime is around the corner. Tina time is winding up and after the afternoon Bex had...sleepy time cannot come soon enough!!
What happened? Two hours spent with a sad niño...sometimes hysterical...and for no apparent reason.
The familia was at playa Santa Cruz, playing with some niños Bex had invited, when Max wanted to play with another niños toys. When it was not going to happen right away...he went postal and the mood swings over the next 2 hours were crazy I am told.
Sad because of sand on his legs was perhaps the topper. Yikes. Meanwhile, I was at home watching some NFL and cleaning casa.
The lomo cerdo went into the horno at 430pm...should have been 420pm...doph.
The familia came home earlier then planned and Max went into tranquilo mode and Bex went into "scratch her head" mode. After some thinking, she came up with a possible reason...Max was hungry. The only times we see such irrational behaviour is when he is hungry...doph.
A good dinner, Max's plato cleared after getting out of his high chair, having some "private" time and then doing his business. Geez Louise...wackiness galore having niños!!
Clean up and then The Boys were out for a 20 minuto post cena prowl. Into the zocalo to chase some bubbles, look up at the grande arbol de Navidad, wave at Ciao Ciao and then head home.
A great walk...Max actually walked the complete time...holding Poppa's hand to keep the walk in check!!
And at 715pm, bedtime has arrived. Please oh please....
Have a great lunes y hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
