Off roading at playa Santa Cruz.

Buenos tardes!! Two for two!! I have picked up the regalo for Max, AND....the check motor light on the camioneta has been reset!!

Max and I were leaving Soriana and the truck would not start...doph. It turned over but would not start for 2 or 3 minutos.

After that, it started and the check motor light came on. The truck ran ok the rest of the día and when I took it into Nissan today, they ran the scanner and it came back as a one off issue. Some dirt in a combustion chamber (?) and once it was out, all good.

Okee dokee if you say so. The gas in Mexico is famoso for being dirty and 50/50 gas and agua, so it is very plausible. Once the scan was done, mi amigo Abraham looked up the code on the internet and that is how he solved the problem. Hilarious!!

But once the scan was done, the warning light was out and I was on my way home.

Currently 445pm and the familia are out on their bicis at the campo...hola hola to some dusty shoes when they return at 530pm for Bubba quesadilla viernes!!

The rest of the día?

Bex had Max watch last night and it went pretty good....he even had a dream and was talking en español!!

He was up at 545am and yours truly had a great sleep and was awake at 645am or so.

I took over Max watch and Bex got herself ready for a busy morning. Go go go Bex had yoga, a paddle board lesson and then cafe with her amiga.

The Boys had their desayunos and then were off to playa Santa Cruz to have a bici tour as well as to look for Bex.

It took us a while to find her, but una Mexicana who was swimming, told us the tablas were around the corner at playa Entrega.

So we zoom zoomed around and when Bex and her teacher paddled in, we went to say hola hola. Max was so excited he was about to run into del mar with his shoes on!!

Some madre time for the lil'man and then we were off to recycling and then Soriana. No scores but we did get everything on our list including galletas for Santa.

Lots of tourists in the tienda including one hombre that very cheerfully came up to us and asked "where are you from?". He seemed disappointed when I did not say something like Grand Prairie, but was intrigued when I told him we lived here.

Some excitement with the camioneta..."what is wrong with the truck Poppa?" and then home for leche, libros and a good siesta.

Asleep before noon and all the way through until 1pm when he climbed into my arms. We both had a 25 minuto siesta and Max then woke up and looked like he was done, when he came back into my nook and fell asleep again!!

It must be the tos and meds. His cough is getting better and other then the anti-biotics, we have cut back the cough meds to pre-siesta and pre-bedtime.

Both of us up at 130pm'ish and then I was off to el gimnasio and then home for some cleaning before heading out to Coppel and Nissan.

The familia had their comida, cooked up the pollo and then headed down for a cold dip in the CP alberca. Brrrr.

Cool noches and the pool does not get as much sun this time of year...brrrr. It will be back to normal in a few more weeks, but a refreshing dip is nothing to complain about!! Especially if you live somewhere that happens to have lots of snow right now!!

Post swim, off to the campo and then back home. At 505pm, Max has had his leche and sits next to me watching The Dinosaur Train while Bex is at work in her oficina. About to start the quesadillas, but first...the fotos!!

On the hunt for madre, we ended up doing circles at playa Santa Cruz. Meanwhile...she had paddled over to playa Entrega.

Santa Cruz, home of the pink arbol de Navidad.

Hmmm...where is madre?

Is she over there?

Do I see her over there?

Hello Poppa. Have you seen madre?

Yup...there she is!!

From miercoles at playa Mojon. Here we are having some brrrrrr tranquilo time in Roman's alberca.

Probably having a "no agua in the boca" conversation.

Poppa swung by for a pick up.

And then there was a mutiny and the Captain was over board.

While the Captain is away, the Mate will play!!

You get either 4 out of 5 peeps looking at Bex....or...

3 out of 4. Your choice. That would be Jay, Roman, Crista, Maxo y Bubba.

Numero uno!!

Numero uno needs a second band aid!!

Look madre, chelas for both of us!!

I found this smelly plant growing....hmmmm?

Max, trying to keep count how many chelas his Poppa has had!!

Possibly the two most tonto hombres in Mexico!!

Over exposed...but you get the idea.

Bex has just realized that my barba, beard, really really does not match the hair on my cabeza, head.

The muy raro familia foto.

Happy to report that Max is no longer afraid of his RC carro!!

Ok, back at you post tina time.

Hasta pronto!!

Buenos noches!! Lil'man is pooped out so we do not have a post cena prowl tonight. Instead? Extra play time in the Palacio and after his one video, George the Garbage Truck, Max gets to sit in his tina longer as well.

A good dinner, a full plato for Max and then onto a FT con Oma y Opa and then onto clean up time.

And that mis amigos, has been our día.

New career news? I have a few peeps to contact in the new year.

Ok, buen fin de semana y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
