Buenos noches!! And how we arrived at that last foto? By taking these ones first.
We took those when we were off to Che and had a quick foto pit stop on the 3rd floor landing before we left.
Well, today has certainly flown by. Already 725pm and leche y libros are under way.
The día in a nut shell. Loooooooong bedtime last night. So long that The Niño Whisperer gave up and the co-pilot came in to close the show. Gracias!!
But a great noche and a 620am wake up. Score.
Usual morning runtinas for The Boys, while Bex was out the door waaaaaay before us and had a paddle then went to meet some amigas for a walk. They were not there, so she came home, checked for messages and then went out to meet them for the walk to and then back from Santa Cruz.
Paddle boarding was just not enough for Bex!!
The Boys had their desayunos and then were off to Fonatur where Max wanted out of the camioneta verde to help his padre, and then as soon as we started tossing the recycling into their bins, he told me he did not like to be there...and was sad.
Huh? He looked scared so I picked him up and I threw some recycling in but he wanted down and away. Huh?
And once back in the car, he told me he did not want to go into Che, he wanted to stay in the truck. Huh?
Not going to happen, but I said he could ride in the cart with the groceries, and he was ok with that. But once we got into the dairy aisle, he wanted out to look for cheddar cheese, and he never got back into the cart. Huh?
Scored on some lomo cerdo...a big seller here during Navidad. Home to unload, change up and hit the chilly pool. Not only was it an morning of mixed sol y nubes, there was a breeze to keep it nippy cold.
Bex had a dip and said adios, and The Boys floated around until the pasas almost fell off, and then we were upstairs for leche, libros and siesta.
A good siesta for The Boys, up at 135pm'ish if I remember correctly.
Lots of meds that seem to only allow me a short sleep before I start hacking again, so I was off to visit the clinica next to Dr Simi. Lots of peeps with gripa y tos, and it was 30 minutos before I got in.
And of course the doctora wants to know how Max is. Of course she does.
I have a throat infection and I am now on 2 meds...hoping for a better sleep tonight and feeling much better mañana. Stay tuned.
But cheap meds? Ahhhh....no. How about $650 pesos for 22 pills? I bought "originales" vs "similares" as I wanted to make sure I was getting and taking the real thing.
Home for a somewhat tranquilo afternoon...I wrapped one of Max's regalos and then spent some time working on the video that is available to see at the end of the blog update.
The familia had their comida, did some clean up and then was off to Tik Tok for a play date. Hola hola to Raul, the niño you met in the last set of Tik Tok fotos. The kid has the same energy level as Max!!
As well, an amiga named Renata joined them as well. A very self-confident 3 year old who at their school, always tries to get Max to come join in her clase.
Sounds like they had a fun time and then were home for some tranquilo time before la cena. Good eats...more salmon for the lil'man.
Max ate most of what was on his plato, had a FT con Oma y Opa and then watched George while Bex y Poppa cleaned up the casa.
Momma Bex pooped out, so The Boys went for their post cena prowl and after working our way through centro and the zocalo, came home for tina time.
And in the zocalo Max sat next to some tourists and listened to some Christmas Carols. The señora was wearing a goofy thing on her head, it was a small Christmas tree. She asked if Max wanted it and he said yes and gracias.
Her husband arrived and he had a snow man on his head and the señora asked if Max wanted that one. He was getting confused, so she clarified and asked which one he preferred. Max being Max, took off the one on his head, gave it back to the señora and said "I like the one I have at home", and was done talking to her.
We all laughed so hard and then we were on our way again.
Climbing the stairs to our casa, Max stopped into his amigos casa to say hola. Ron's wife, BBQ as she is called by Max, has just returned from Canada and brought him two regalos. He now has a peluche perro that barks and moves around, and a Saskatchewan Rough Riders playera.
A few muchos gracias and off we went upstairs to show his madre the loot and then onto tina time. He wanted the perro to join him for the tina, but understood that would not have been good for him, so he waited outside.
And that was our go go go día.
Not many fotos from me, so good thing Bex had the crappy Sony DSC W730 on the go!!
From a few days ago....
Max has found another amigo.
Hmm...is that your belly button?
What do you mean poo comes out of there?
Momma Bex....please put MORE gel on my manos!!
Mid-tour alignment.
I cannot recall...did we gel my hands before I touched my panque? Note the look.
Same look...different day.
The rides were closed, but if you know the right peeps (the ones you met last year) and pay your $20 pesos...off you go!!
At the mas tarde Christmas event...and this niña has Bex thinking.
Ahhhhh...we vote "one and done"!!!
Shell shocked at the thought of a lil'sister, Max needs Poppa cinturon, his seat belt!!
On the way to lunch at West Park Cafe, we stop in next door to give our barber his carta, Christmas card.
Proud Poppa telling madre that Max is getting an abrazo.
Proud Poppa telling his lil'man that he did a great job.
Proud Poppa showing his lil'man how proud of him he is.
Post comida...a frown for the paparazzi!!
And then it is time to drop off another carta and get an otro abrazo.
Max has a part time job washing off the paddle boards.
The dry water fountain series.
Ta da!!
A little video? Click HERE!!
Ok...two nights in a row with a looooooong bed time. Currently 910pm and Bex has gone in to try and close the show. Hmmmm? Maybe too excited about Señor Santa Claus?
Mañana? No playa Mojon so we will have a regular type of día and then a Christmas Eve cena at 6pm.
Have a great Dec 24 y hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
