Max Van, all 3 years of him, as we head out for lunch.

Buenos tardes. Currently 430pm and I am wishing I had taken a siesta while Max had his. Bubba is pooped out today. Oh well.

The familia is out at playa Santa Cruz and today Bex is giving it a go...paddle boarding with Max on it!! We will see how it goes and if it went well, someday soon there will be fotos to follow.

Due to a later comida, and one that filled our bellies, we are having quesadillas at 6pm and then will probably have some tranquilo time in the Palacio before heading into tina time. Stay tuned.

The rest of the día...because I know you are dying to find out.

A good bedtime, noche and onto leche at 625am and videos at 635am. Out of cuna at 730am and then onto whatever The Boys do at that hour of the morning.

Play time and desayunos in the Palacio and then out the door for a tour with a few errands thrown in. Pit stop at Foto Conejo as we have handed out 23 tarjetas de Navidad already, and then back onto the tour before returning to find the fotos not ready. Doph.

SCA for huevos and marshmallows for NYE and we also scored on a big block of queso cheddar. Oh there is going to be a queso fiesta here!!

The 2 señoritas (señoras?) that work in the deli loved Max's Christmas card and one of them asked me a long winded question...that I had NO idea what she was saying. Hey...say it all again and slower...and I still don't know what you are saying.

She changed a few words and ta-da. Dudes...I appreciate you thinking I am fluent en español...but I have been faking it!!

I repeated back to her what she said, but I said it in Bubba español and she looked at me like..."that is exactly what I said". Ahhhhh....NO.

She wants a foto of her kids and Max, taken in the parque, under the pine trees. Sure...make an appointment. Stay tuned...

Then onto pick up some goods for the pico de gallo and as I am paying, Max is chatting up the owner's daughter...oh you coqueto!!

Home for the first swim in 4 days...yahoo. It was a hot and humid feeling morning, so the swim was good!!

Upstairs for another shower (hmmmmm...), leche y libros and then lights out in 20.

A good siesta for the lil'man and as we had talked about going out for lunch, as soon as Max was awake, he wanted to go to West Park Cafe, also known as Max's restaurante, as the owner's name is Max.

Why are we out for lunch? No gym due to the tos, so we should go out and have some familia time!!

A good lunch and the highlights had to be from when Max hands out his Christmas cards. One to the barber and he not only gets a choque, but the barber wants to give him an abrazo to which Max complies.

Wow...we were caught off guard by the impact the card had, and thrilled at how the lil'man behaved. I knelt down next to him and made sure he knew how happy he is making people and how happy we were to see how he behaved when someone wanted a hug.

And after lunch, a card went to a friendly Italiano that works at yes, one of the many Italian restaurantes here in town. Max received a choque, a hug and a kiss on the cheek!!

The hombre knew exactly where the foto inspiration had come from, but I showed him the original foto as well and he excitedly showed it to his co-workers. Ahhhh...tis The Season!! We have 30 more cards printed up and after today, 3 more days to hand them out. No problem as Max says!!

Home for a change of clothes and the familia was out. No gym...casa clean up instead. Doph. And in 10 minutos, I will head to the cocina to cook up the pollo and make the pico.

But first...the fotos.

A quickie pose before The Boys head out on their morning tour.

Dude, whatever I drove through is on my llanta.

And now it is on mi mano tambien. Oh Max...yikes!!

You asked me to stop for a foto, you did not tell me to look excited about it.

Poppa Poppa...Santa is wearing a panale.

Mexico, home of the unfinished construction project.

Very proud, oh so proud, to be on his bici AND on "my llanta" as he calls it.

Headed out for our comida.

But first, we dropped off a tarjeta de Navidad to the Peanut Lady.

And then scoped out the merchandise.

Not the best picture, but it is oh so Mexico. On a sidewalk, an oil barrel converted to a wood burning stove, with a señorita cooking up hand made tortillas soon to be turned into tlayudas.

At West Park Cafe, Max is waiting for his comida to arrive.

Did you say my comida was here?

Suspicious 1 and Suspicious 2.

Pouring anything, yes anything, gives Max "crazy eyes"!!

And from ayer, kicking back to watch a few minutos of the series finale of Ice Pilots.

Ok, all caught up so far. Back at you post tina time.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!! Well, that was one heck of a dinner!!

First off...how did the dual paddleboarding go? Max was super well behaved and sat on the front of the board, requesting that his madre paddle faster!! They had a super fun time and I am sure they will be back at it again soon.

Home at 515pm and off to some WW video time. Padre was cooking up a storm and we started eating our cena at 6pm. Max ate 1/2 of his, telling us that he was full from all the food he ate at Max's restaurante.

Out of the highchair and into a panale and 5 minutos later...success. Perfect...just in time to let Oma y Opa know what was going on!! Ja ja ja

Panale pit change while I ate my quesadilla and chatted up Oma y Opa, and then as Max was being silly with his abuelos, he managed to eat 3 more helpings of arroz, salmon and quesadilla. All told, he ate almost 2 dinner portions. Can you say "growth spurt"? Hopefully upwards and not too much outwards!!

A great FT con Oma y Opa and with Max now expecting to see a NEW grey hair on your beard or on your head every time he says "I love you", he was getting a kick out of saying it to his grandparents, who acted accordingly!!

Late end to dinner due to the 3 extra helpings, so off to tina time and as I type away, leche y libro time.

All caught up...have a great domingo y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
