Post bici tour...stinking hot and too tired to ride the bici. But not too tired to check out the new tapa!!

Buenos tardes!! And with comida being served, Max is at his mesa ready to go...when we hear this "I have no volume".

Doph...you cannot watch Tractor Tom without the sound!!

Bubba is feeling much better, thanks for asking. I had a good noche, a so so morning but felt good upon our return from the bici tour.

And I even managed to eat some lomo cerdo for my comida!! Hoping to continue feeling well and having some oh so yummy Manwich para mi cena!!

Feeling better, but not enough energy for el gimnasio, so I will putter around the casa and maybe prowl my way to Soriana to pick up the regalo de Navidad for Max.

Our día so far? Not much out of the norm for us. We had a pretty good bedtime, a good noche and a 620am wake up. Lil'man senses that when Poppa is in charge, no need to wake up as Poppa will just keep sleeping!! ja ja ja

The only issue during the night has been Max's tos, cough. Some miel and medicina at bedtime and then some more miel during the noche and he slept well. But once awake at 620am, lots of coughing. Good news is that the throat does not look infected, maybe it is just a common cold. Stay tuned.

Onto the morning rutinas and Max really wanted an omelet...huh? I asked him why and he told us that he had dreamt about it. Hilarious answer.

And just heard coming out of the Palacio....do you want cream cheese on the next bagel, or just butter? Max's reply...butter...a lot of butter please.

We finished up in the casa and went to check on the pool. It looks like Marcos drained at least a foot of the agua and was in the process of refilling it. Ready at 11am he says....ahhhhh no.

He also filled in the blanks as to why the pool was getting so sucia the last few weeks....no $$ for chemicos. Yikes.

So, knowing 1030am pool time was out, we were off for a 90 minuto bici tour. Off to the industrial section where we bought some clavos, nails, to use at playa Mojon.

And as we toured around, Max decided he wanted to go home to pee. Uh...did we not go twice before we left the casa 30 minutos ago?

No one likes a full bladder, but we are not near home and Max does not want to go au natural. I ask him why and he finally answers that he does not want to get dirty. Hmmmm?

We are not having fun as Max is in discomfort, so behind a big arbol, I scoop him up, pull down the shorts y ginchies, hold him parallel to the ground and let Niagara Falls pour.

He was literally and figuratively relieved and after that, back to having fun.

A good tour and then home for leche y libros and a 75 minuto siesta, the last 20 in his Poppa's arms. Hello!!

Post siesta, Max y madre decorated the arbol de Navidad...before Max decided to fall face first into it...for no apparent reason. Yikes. All good...but that sure left us scratching our heads.

I jumped on madre's tank of a bici and headed off to check in with Pablo. It does not look like there is a hole through the floor boards, probably some agua coming in near the steering wheel shaft and most of the floor board corrosion coming from the 5 winters of salted roads in Toronto.

They pulled back a little more of the carpet then we had discussed, found a little more corrosion and will repair that tambien. New pick up time...6pm on lunes.

Home for comida and that is where we started this update. So...onto the fotos.

We scored on a few 3rd floor landing fotos!!

And when madre came out to say hasta pronto...it was time to climb the escalera.

And then hang from it.

And then climb it again.

And then hang from it again.

Chill-laxing pool side.

Off with their heads?

Off to get the bici...have I ever mentioned that Max does not know how to walk? Only run?

Some Fonatur self-promotion.

Some Max Van self-promotion!!

Ojo ojo...bici wheel in a rut. Max had decided to look left, at the Soriana sign, vs straight ahead.

A little dirty but all is a-ok.

Everything is alright, especially after this next score!!

Hola hola to a triple of flat tires!!

Happy to report that is agua on the sidewalk...nothing else!!

OMG Poppa...look at that hombre carrying 2 sillas y una mesa!!

Flashback to 12 de diciembre de 2012.

Ok, time for a tranquilo afternoon.

Back at you post tina time.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!! Currently 7pm and tina time is under way. The familia had a fun time at playa Chahue, not in del mar but playing on the playa.

I spent some time at Soriana and discovered the one toy that Max wanted for Christmas has 500 pieces and is meant for 5+ years old. Doph. But I scored on a few smalls for him and we will hit up the other 2 tiendas that carry quality toys, and see what we come up with.

I then headed home for some clean up and I sat my butt on the couch and watched the Nascar awards show. Kinda dry...but nice to see the drivers take some end of season jabs at each other!!

Only 2 months until Daytona!!

The familia arrived at 5pm and after a FT con Oma y Opa, The Boys headed into the cocina to cook up the Manwich. Oh Max loves his Manwich and had 3 chico helpings!! Add in the arroz, the jitomate, the elote dorado and the salmon and it was a great cena for the lil'man with the panza...belly.

One long video and then we gave madre some tranquilo time as The Boys went out for the post cena prowl. Lots of peeps out and about, tourists from Mexico and beyond.

It is also Virgen de Guadalupe time so there are lots of banging fireworks and the usual groups of young people who have run here from their hometowns, all to show their faith in the Virgen.

Home for a pee...Max actually asked if we could do it in the zocalo like we had done earlier in the day behind the big tree. Hilarious that now he wants to pee in the parque!! But too many peeps...5 minutos until we get home...and we made it!!

Tina time about to end and then onto leche y libros and I bet there will be some "business" time tambien...lil'man has a full belly.

Mañana? Hoping for some alberca time and there will also be some futbol domingo!!

Have a great Sunday y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
