From outside the iglesia, a little "casco hair" on Max Van.

Buenos tardes!! And with a combination of comida, loop to loop and "business" going on in the Palacio, Poppa has sought refuge in Max's room and is typing away.

We have had a good day so far!! A longer bedtime, 835pm, but a solid noche for Max y Bex. A 1230am pee break and then a solid sleep until 630am.

Bubba had his first tos free noche in weeks!! But even with ear plugs, I heard the lil'man racing around the Palacio...Lego time with his madre!!

So I was up at 7am and took over from Bex who went up to her oficina for some work and then out the door for a paddle in the bahias.

Usual rutinas for The Boys...desayunos of fruta, cereal, huevo and yogurt and then after clean up, we watched reruns of A, B and C, before heading out for a tour.

Not much new around town, but lots of peeps. Pit stopped to grab some cheap pesos and then off to play with the RC carro.

Headed home for some leche and a change of gear and then The Boys were off to the CP alberca for some swimming and laughs.

Back upstairs for the leche y libros and then lights out at 1155am for siesta. Bubba joined in and was out at 1245pm and both of us were up at 130pm.

Off to comida and ta da...our día so far.

Ok, onto the fotos.

Pre-tour poses from the 3rd floor landing.

And off we go!!

Lots of autobus turismo in town...and the peeps tambien.

Max has learned how to come up to a crowd like this and say "con permiso", with permission, and the peeps will let him through with a "pasale", go past.

And now when he sees peeps coming, he will pull over on his bici and say pasale to them. It catches them off guard, but the ones that are listening, smile and say gracia.

Dos taxistas getting a domingo shine.

Only one person brings out a sonrisa like this.

We were headed up calle Carrizal and saw Bex coming the other way. I quickly ran to the other side of the calle to catch the first 2 fotos before she came in for the besito.

He calls this his cup, due to the little "handle" by his mano.

Roof tiles ready to go.

Off to the school yard to zoom zoom the RC carro.

Oh, this was on purpose.

Ever see a RC carro kick up polvo?

Poppa...did you say polvo?

RC car at the iglesia.

And Max at the iglesia.

Ever see what happens when church bells go off while a niño is playing with his RC car?

I am thinking the bell rang 5 or 6 times.

A side calle was closed off as some hombres were pouring un piso de conreto, a concrete floor. Now some peeps would order in the concreto and a pumper truck, other peeps save money and hire 30 peeps to do the work.

Max was very intrigued by the concrete mixing process...and it was very well choreographed. One hombre was in charge of the maquina and loaded in 2 pails of agua.

While he was doing that, two hombres came in with 2 pails of gravel, two other hombres came in with two pails of sand and then the hombre in charge would add two already opened half bags of polvo de concreto.

And then after a quick mix, the finished producto was poured onto the calle.

Where it was shoveled up, put into buckets and manually carried up a flight of stairs, to be poured on the 2nd floor.

Now that was quite the show and if we were not on our way to the CP alberca, Max would have stayed and watched the show for hours!!

That has been the day so far. Off to watch some futbol and maybe join the familia for another swim in the CP alberca.

Back at you post pollo reggiano y tina time!!

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!! And 10 minutos after The Boys returned from their post-cena prowl, tina time is wrapping up!!

The prowl? Wow...lots of peeps in town. The highlight? A policia municipal came over to us as we were sitting on a curb watching all the activities and asked me if "this" was the niño who rides the bici and wears the casco. Oh course he did.

The answer? Sí...muy raro y uniqo...a niño with a casco!!

As for the afternoon....we had the swim and then I was upstairs to watch a slow first half to the game. At half time it was 6-0 for the Rams...two yawn inspiring field goals. The rest of the game? On the PVR and hope to get to it post bedtime.

The familia swam and then headed out to blow more bubbles in the zocalo...drawing a crowd of niños, some who may not have bathed in a week. Yikes. But Bex y Max had fun and drew stares from  many groups of Chilangos that truly look down at the rest of society.

Home for a huge dinner, clean up and then out for the prowl.

And that mis amigos, was our día.

Mañana...casual lunes!! But Max has decided for us that we will go to playa Mojon on miercoles and eat not only our cena there, but our comida as well. And he added that we must eat the marshmallows tambien.

He is super excited for the bonfire, the marshmallows and the fuegos artificiales.

Ok, have a great Monday y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
