Buenos noches!!
From earlier in the day, at Mojon.
A fun day here in
Huatulco….but we did not have our walk. What?
By the time Max was fed
and I was ready to sling him up, he was antsy. I was thinking nap and he was
thinking boobie. Oh Max.
So we woke up madre and
after filling up his tanque, they both took some personal time and fell asleep
together!!
But prior to Max getting
antsy, we both ate our cereal and read the online news together. He was quite
fascinated by THIS story.
What is it about farts
that makes him laugh so?
So, Max y madre slept and knowing
we were going to head to Mojon, I headed to el gimnasio where it was much
cooler at that time of the morning, and much more enjoyable.
Fotos from the walk.
Not sure I would be cooler this way. He is looking forward to the lluvia.
Had to slip at least one carpintero foto in.
Three feet long...
You would be surprised how many peeps stop to buy a papaya.
And then it was off to
Mojon. As you will see from the fotos, Mother Nature has taken her sand back
and left us with a rocky playa. Easy come, easy go.
We had a great time there
and look forward to the full time life style.
Earlier in the day I
bumped into Carlos, Roman’s brother in law, and he told me there was a
professional surfer foto shoot happening at Mojon.
When we arrived, we saw a
few pro surfers and then just like that, they were gone. We did see their host,
Erik, a hombre we know from around town and said hola.
Mojon fotos.
Last week this was all arena....sand.
Madre is easing the lil'hombre into del mar.
He handled it like a professional!!
And after all the stress of being in the oceano, he chez lounged.
Tackling the white water.
Oh oh...land ho!!
So Bubba, once again, tell me why you are living in Mexico?
We skipped the personal
hot tub as it is easier to take the lil’surfer wanna be to the alberca at the
condo. That, and if we get back earlier then later, we are not so rushed come
rutina time.
So hit the road around
345pm and for the first time in a long time, we were waved over by the militar.
The soldier asked if he could search our camioneta and I said sí, but told him
our hijo was in the back seat con his madre.
That made him change his
mind and after looking at our FM3, he waved us on.
Guess who fell asleep in
the truck…only minutes from home? So we left Bex in the truck…naaah. We did
leave Max and madre in the truck and I unpacked us and even went to grab some
fruita y verdura. By the time I was home, Max had woken up and was ready for
the pool.
Great pool session…he
loves the water and we now even take him under the pool shower at lower volume…and
he loves that too!!
9pm UPDATE
Just back from 30 minutes
of soothing the lil’sleeper. Not sure what happened, but like clock work, 30
minutes after he falls asleep, he wakes up and stirs. Today he more then stirred,
he used a blender and then decided to let me know via a cry that he was not
happy.
Some rocking, more rocking
and more rocking and ta-da. Tonight he was a tough client for the Niño
Whisperer.
After the pool, we started
the rutina and both of us made comment that he is so tranquilo while we are
eating our dinner. Since we pushed the rutina to 7pm from 6pm, we cannot recall
a dinner being interrupted by him. Great niño.
Ok, that was our day.
Talked with Memo and he
said there will be no big fish coming to the docks on viernes. Huh? I must tell
this to Carlos…the big days are sábado y domingo.
Mañana? Back on the morning
walk rutina…and get this darn FM3 off the to-do list.
And...off to the banco as the peso, vs Cdn dollar, has dropped 1.9% in the last 2 days. Time to stock up on some pesos...on the cheap!!
Have a great jueves.
Misc Max tid-bit. The lil'mono LOVES bananas!!
Marco, Bexico y Max
