Buenos noches mis amigos.
Let’s start off with a
little video we may show at Max’s wedding.
As you can tell by the video, the lil'humper is getting soooo close to crawling, walking or running!!
850pm and all is tranquilo
in Huatulco. Bex is in her oficina putting in some hours so she can take
mañana, Día de las Madres, off. Max is lights out…the 3 chest naps seemed to
have worn him down. And me? Hola to some wash, some blogging and some Nascar.
A good day here. Up early
again and as Max and I ate our desayunos, he looked at me and asked about my
thoughts on the oil sands in Alberta and their possible impact on the
environment, let alone the Canadian economy. Our hijo is very environmentally
conscious!!
And then we slinged up and
hit the walk. Took out some more $$ from the banco, and received an even better
exchange rate.
Then off to the zocalo
where we were greeted by many a peeps…”hola Max”!!
Came home to top up the
tanque and gave Max his first chest nap of the day. I managed a few minutes of
zzz, but once he was awake and madre took over, I was lights out for 45
minutes.
Once I dragged my butt out
of bed, I made us some huevos revueltos para brunch and then I headed to el
gimnasio. I took the camioneta so I could go directly to Che after working out
and I tell ya, much cooler and quicker in the truck vs on the pies!!
Good work out…no one else
was there.
Che was Che. They are
conducting pre-inventory, so the shelves become bare and products harder to
find. Doph. No big scores, but with the dollar at such a great rate, I did buy
more then normal and as per usual, put it on the Visa card.
It has worked out to our
benefit to keep our $$ in Canada and transfer only when we see a good exchange
rate.
Came home with our pollo
for dinner and found the familia in the midst of Max’s 3rd chest
nap. Lucky peeps we are!!
Once he was awake…off to
the pool we went and of course it was all ours. The usual alberca routine of
dunks, floating and chez lounge. We did meet a nice couple, he from France and
she from Oaxaca. They met in England and are now married.
The moment we pull Max out
of the pool, to the moment he is asleep, is go go go!! Not hating, just
stating…that it poops us out and it is friggin hot!!
But Max is normally a
trooper and after eating more solids then usual, he watched the race with us
while we ate our ensaladas and then our cena.
He did have a change in
his mood right before bath time, but he was just anxious to get to his tina.
And then right before his dinner time, he again anticipated his leche and let
us know he was ready.
Distract him by making him
laugh and he held on until madre was ready for him. And after his leche? Lights
out!!
Mañana? Cerdo hash for
madre’s desayunos and hamburguesa for la cena!! I love a gal that loves burgers
for a Mother’s Day dinner!!
At 3pm I am hoping to take
Max to Santa Cruz and see if we can take some fotos of huge pescado!! Stay
tuned.
Some fotos? Today, they
are all about Max!!
Here he is enjoying his highchair. What a character!!
And look who can almost stay sitting up by himself.
He isn't able to get himself into the sitting up position by himself, but we are sure that is coming soon.
Last fotos of the day? The hungry (or teething) lil'hombre.
Busted chomping on madres knee.
Which does lead us to our last topic...eating. We thought Max would drop a leche feeding once we started giving him solids. We are up to 3 small meals of solids a day...and he is still drinking up the same amount of leche. Thus the new chin we have discovered on him...3rd or 4th? Ja ja ja
I always knew he was a long weaner!!
Mañana…don’t forget your
madres!!
Marco, Bexico y Max
