Buenos tardes!! How was your cinco de mayo?

Max had a rough start to the night…he did not want, or could not, fall asleep. Madre wore him out and then sent in the closer….ta da.

And what is up with wanting to eat 4 times during the night?

But that did not stop him from waking up at 730am and letting us know we can sleep when we are dead…time to get up!!

I have truly enjoyed the early shift as I am now the cereal feeder and Max and I have some padre/hijo time. Today knowing I was having pan frances para desayunos, we talked about maple syrup and how it is manufactured.

And then we slinged up…you should see the excitement on his face when the sling comes out.

And courtesy of mi hermano….

Max is waaaay cuter then that niño…and it’s debatable between me and Zack.

I knew the walk was not going to be a long one. Very little viento and 30,5 grados and 67% humido at 845am…equates to between 42,0 and 43,0 grados.

So we shimmied up Carrizal, staying in the sombra and at Oxxo, ran into some Vitel hombres and asked them to deliver a garrafon to both our casa y Blanca’s.

And then we continued up to the campo and under the sombra, we un-slinged and watched some futbol. Max was quite interested but was disappointed that a senora sitting next to us, would not give him the time of day. Maybe she was NOT human…because who could resist the charm of the lil’casanova?

We watched some soccer and then headed home for leche y nap time.

2pm update…Max has had 2 naps…one more then me!! Doph. Bex y Max went for a walk…they both lost weight due to the heat, so they are sequestered in the chill room with the a/c on!!

Chili is cooked, the wash is on and the race is happening…hola, mi nombre is Amo de Casa (householder…housekeeper).

Here are the fotos from our walk.

These senoras have found some sombra, from which they can sell their goods.

This message was painted on a wall near the campo. It was part of a messages from IMSS, the public health department.

Improve your health. Keep your body and teeth clean.

Futbol at the campo.

Our pit bulls do not fight...help and protect.

Ok, this hombre might be 40, but looks 70. He sells cocos frios from his cart. Today he was RUNNING to catch the garbage truck so he could dump his empty coco shells.

And here is Max in the highchair series.

Check out his chin...holy baba (drool)!

Thanks for the wipe down padre.

Look up, waaaay up, and I'll call Rusty.

All you old Canucks, click HERE for a trip down memory lane.

I don't get it...Friendly Giant?

Ohhhh padre....muy tonto.

Yo tambien!! Me too!!

Big Mac sauce ISN'T mil isla?

No waay, you're pulling my leg.

As for the rest of the day…

Bex y Max hung out and worked on his cognitive skills…Bubba worked on his by watching the whole race!!

Off to the pool and we had a great time. Not too hot as there was a nice breeze. Max loves his floatie and has been working hard on how to get out of it…while in the deep end. Doph.

Some alberca fotos.

Seems like they BOTH know how to mug for the camera!!

Look at his ojos y boca. Both are closed as he knows he is headed for a dunk.

And almost a great under water foto.

Max had some concerns and questions about his leche buddha.

We told him the niñas will think it is hot and that seemed to change the mood.

Where's Max? He loves this ride. Note the kung fu grip...and no mullet!!

And more kung fu grip.

Padre y hijo.

I always lose when we have the staring contest.

Then it was time for the rutina and Max was a star. It is currently 805pm and the team is working on falling asleep while Bubba updates the blog and watches some news.

Mañana? Vacunas at 730am…doph. I will try to hit el gimnasio but based on his last set of shots, it will be good if both of us are home come 1pm or so….with the Niño Tylenol at the ready. Por que? Last time he had a reaction around 1pm and it took a few hours for us to figure it out and administer the meds.

810pm UPDATE

I am headed into the sleep den…The Baby Whisperer has been called to duty!!! Stay tuned.

840pm UPDATE

We have read about this…niños who just won’t sleep because they are too wired trying to practice some new skill they have being learning.

Max just wants to keep raising his ass in the air and attempt to crawl. He was asleep in our arms, you put him down and his ass goes up. Hilarious except for the fact that he needs to sleep.

So he finally had enough of my rocking and singing, as well as his ass raising, and fell into a light sleep. Some TNT (toss n’turn) for a short time and now he is lights out.

Ok, back to our plans for mañana. Some misc items and then start getting the FM3 info together. I am sure I understand about 8 of the 10 items inmigracion is looking for, and after 2 or 3 trips to their oficina, I am sure I will understand the last 2!!

Have a great lunes. Adios mis amigos.

Marco, Bexico y Max
