What a great day!!
Lots of viento has kept it
cooler then only a few days ago. Our high ayer was only 32,5 grados, down a
full 3 degrees from martes!!
No rain in the past few
(or is that 2?) days, but that may change with
Hurricane Bud headed to
the Mexican Pacific coast. Currently the hurricane is way norte of us, but the
season has arrived. Stay tuned.
Today Max was up at
645am…and so was I!! ja ja ja
We had a fun two hours,
which included some peaches and apples and then it was nap time…make that chest
nap time. We both grabbed 40 minutes of shut eye and then off for our walk.
A great walk as it was
cooler and while sitting in the zocalo, who parks their camioneta and comes in
to talk with us? Amy y Victor from Vitel. Fifteen minutes later, and after each
of them held Max, off they went…back to work. Good guys, both of them.
And then a quick hola to
the early crew at Gabriels and then off to the tienda next to Fruver so we
could pick up some plátanos.
We buy 99% of our fuita y
verdura at Fruver, but normalmente we find better bananas next door. Today,
they were softer then we like and were about to leave when one of the workers
recognized us and asked if we were looking for “mas duro”…harder. Sí and off he
went to his cooler and brought some out for us.
We said gracias and then
he said hola to Max, of course he knows his name. Then when it comes time to
pay, he mentions to a new’ish caja, that we do not need a bolsa, because this
same hombre knows we are trying to be eco friendly.
We are going to LOVE
living at Mojon, and already envision rides into La Crucecita on our scooter,
saying hola to all of our amigos. But…we will miss the easy walks and the
convenience of having almost everything we need, right outside the front gates.
Came home, woke up madre
and huh…Max was not thirsty? Ahhhh, he just need a few minutes of relax time
and then it was boobie time.
I left the 2 chalupies to
their thing and I hit el gimnasio…a good workout and some laughs with both
Hector y Jhanhet.
I decided to take the long
way home and stop off at Jesica’s and grab some foam floor mats for the lil’crawler.
As I was leaving el gimnaiso, I said to myself…”I wonder where Tony is?”, as I
have seen him drive by many times. He lives near the gym and goes back and
forth from his padre’s garage.
Moments later…ta da.
We chatted it up and he
apologized for missing getting together on sábado. Huh? Any way, he was triste
as he lost a prima, a cousin and that is why he had not made it to an event
that I was not even aware of existing. But…maybe this weekend he will come over
with his familia and we will share some pool time con Max.
Grabbed the mat at
Jesica…poco caro, but what ever it takes to keep our hijo safe while he is
learning to crawl and walk. Our living room has truly become the Play Palace…it
will be good to get Max his own play room!!
Home and then the familia
loaded up and hit Che. No big scores, but we are set for the next few days.
Back home, another nap for
Max and I grabbed a half hour in the sun…might be the last time during rainy
season!! I was joined by the familia and as I entered the alberca, an abuela
wanted to hold Max.
Ok…but a minute later I
could tell that he had enough…saved the situation and off we went for our
floats and dunks. The lil’hijo gusta mucha nadar!!
And then all of a sudden,
it is time to head up for the night time rutina. It went off without a hitch
and madre worked her magic for the 4th time today and Max was lights
out!!
915pm…madre is sucked into
a movie for only a few minutes…or is it? Ja ja ja.
Fotos?
These are from the walk with Max, and my walk to and from el gimnasio.
Betto...a great hombre and niños LOVE him and his silliness. We call him tío Betto and he gives Max un beso everytime they see each other.
Here is Betto with the hijo of a hombre who works next to the restaurante Betto works in.
They are just dos tonto joven!!
Pottery sales.
Just a little lluvia brings out the fauna.
Our plan is to have two areas of our casas covered with palapas like this.
One would be the stair case to the rental casa and one would be over the terraza that is inbetween our recamara and Max's.
The next foto is of a book sale under a tent.
I don't know when it arrived or when it will be leaving.
Here is a poster advertising a reunión (meeting) of productos naturales.
And of course…the Max
fotos.
Here are some of his MANY facial expressions.
Hey Max...lovin the wind blown look!!
Mañana? Nothing extra planned…but
it will still be a great day!!
Have a great viernes!!
Marco, Bexico y Max
