Hola everyone!!!

845pm and a warm 29,2 grados here in the condo. Only 28,5 degrees outside…must be due to the pizza oven cooling down!!

Or maybe it’s the Sony big screen TV causing the extra heat…as I watch NFL in HD!! Ahhh technology.

Earlier today I managed to watch a few minutes of the Canucks game, which they won, and I also caught a few minutes of the Texans NFL game after we came home from Mojon.

Low scoring game so far tonight, looking forward to NFL domingo with mi hijo…starting out with hotcakes for desayunos!!

Our sábado?

It started last night with Max asleep by 930pm and then at 5am…right on cue, he had his gassy issues. Fed and changed him and then the two of us were out until 9am. Wow..he must have been pooped yesterday as that is almost 11.5 hours of zzzzz. But he does not nap often (we try…trust us we try!!) and is normally exhausted at the end of the day…today is NO exception!!

The three of us walked to Isssste where Bexico grabbed some items and then the two of them headed home and I headed to el gimnasio. The 6h day is the worst and today was no exception. Maybe I had Mojon on the brain?

Hector was actually minding the gym while Janeht was out. No Memo today…oh well.

Here are the fotos from the walk.

First off, a few from ayer. I took this foto to look up the meaning of the words.

He is an accountant.

This hombre is an artist working with a blank palette. Note the awning in the upper left.

He painted this by eye and hand.

And today, across from our complex, dos niñõs.

Madre y Max...all covered up from el sol.

One moto, dos hombres...and one escalera.

Look who is back!!

And after Isssste but before headed home...Max getting a cool down. Mucho calor.

Clima...weather.

After el gimnasio it was straight home and then we loaded up and headed to Mojon.

I was slowly driving through the militar checkpoint and having seen the soldiers wave the other cars through, I slowly proceeded until I saw a few of the soldiers wave us down. Oops.

All good and even though we understood 99% of what they wanted, one soldier still spoke some ingles to us. Good thing I did not forget our ID this time as they were filling out the quota of names being recorded on the official paperwork.

All good as the FM3 is gold. Had a quick chat about the “issues” in town and off we went.

And just as we were unpacking the truck…traffic jam!! Terry (from Edmonton I think), was leaving his house at the end of the road and I had to quickly park our truck. All good and nice to see our future neighbors.

And when we were all unpacked, what did we see? For the first time EVER…a camioneta with Policia Municipal in it, drove down our beach road. They gave us a friendly wave and I have no issue with them making a patrol down there every now and then.

Fotos from Mojon....ahhh home sweet home.

When you see all these birds in the oceano, you know there must be a ton of pescado around.

And there were a ton of pescado...sardinas. I walked down the playa and chatted up these peeps to see what tipo of pescado it was.

Here is Tenouche and a niño looking for more sardines.

Other members of the same familia.

It looks like abuelo y nieto...grandson.

And then Bexico came out to investigate and chat up the familia. They were muy simpático towards her.

With all the sardina around, this hombre uses the fishing pole to catch the tiburón...sharks.

Just kidding.

Check out these cuties. The perroitos (puppies) of Mojon.

But here is the cutest!!

The bug net is actually being used to stop the sand from blowing into his stroller.

Getting good use out of our new clothesline at the palapa.

A GREAT afternoon at Mojon and we headed home around 430pm.

Pit stop at Che for a few items (hello cheese slices so Bexico can have a cheeseburger mañana) and then home to clean up. No pool shower as the whole place is still out of order and behind tape.

Not sure what happened with Max, but we had an hour or so of nice and tranquilo time and then he wound himself up and has been 2 handfuls ever since. 915pm and Bexico is still trying to get him to sleep. Ahhh…but we adore the niño!!

Great pizza for dinner, did our usual night time routine with Max and once he is asleep, Bexico will either pass out from exhaustion, or head upstairs and do some work in the oficina. Me? 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter…lots of football to still be watched!!

You already know about our mañana!! Have a great domingo everyone!!

PS…el día despues de Día de los Reyes, there is no discount on day old rosca at Che, but you do get 2x1.

saludos

Marco, Bexico y Max
