Hola mis amigos!!
615pm and we are on day 2 of the early bath. Ayer, we had good success with Max asleep around 730pm and after a few feedings, he slept until 530am, when on schedule his tummy acted up.
But…for the first time ever, he did not want to sleep on my chest. So back to bed we all went until 730am when I took him out of the bedroom and gave him the leche.
He had another nap and then helped wake madre up at 9am.
And today? Bexico has managed to get him to actually have a few short naps. Stay tuned.
Exciting for us? We ate our dinner together and hope to do the same today…Sloppy Jose’s.
Quiet day. The excitement was when Bexico explained to our neighbor that someone had taken our $24 pesos that had been on the ledge, $$ that was for our garrafon de agua.
Blanca was sure it was her hijo who had done it by mistake, and paid for our bottle of water. And when her hijo came home, in perfect ingles, he apologized for the mistake. Polite niño.
Pool time? Sham wow as the pool was muy sucio…and I am not talking leaves as per the “garbage tree” comments from some wa*kos. I am talking like dirty bath water dirty. That and it was low on water again.
Just as well as Max was too cold for the agua…lil’shivers from the lil’hombre. We will take him to Mojon tomorrow instead!!
I hit the gym and had a good chat with Raphael the mecanico on the way to the gym and then with Elder on the way back through town. And the otra amigo who works with Elder? Su nombre is Bulmaro. Yup…Bulmaro. Haven’t heard that one before.
Pit stop with the boys and it looks like proxima semana, Daniel, Daniel Jr y Dafne (esposa) and our familia will go out for la cena…a thank you for all Daniel’s help…ayuda.
Not much going on at the joyeria today, but ayer it was full of Canadians. Looks like negocio was bueno.
Grabbed some misc items at Isssste…penne y jugo de manzana and then at the abarrote Santa Cruz…score on large Mil Isla…so I bought 3!!
Home and then we spent the afternoon puttering around with Max and just chillax’in.

Had a VERY short FT with mis padres and it looks like they are in PM with Nicole. Hola all…sorry it was a short FT…Max was not in the mood!!
Currently 845pm and we managed to watch the news and with some extra effort, managed to get Max asleep by 730pm again. Today it wasn’t about the usual routine…but with a few minutes of swaddling and bouncing, his eyes were closed. Put him on my chest and managed to lay down…and we were both asleep!! Ja ja ja
Best 20 minutes of my day!!
Woke up, he didn’t, and cooked the Sloppy Jose’s and here we are.
