Buenos tardes!! Glad to report that I am no longer under the weather and that Max had a better sleep last night.
He was out at 730pm and then with a few feeding in between, he was up at 7am with g.a.s. and then a-ok by 9am
Here are the 8am-9am Max fotos. You figure after his 3rd diaper, he would be a little excited?
Currently 620pm, Max is cleaned up, getting his lube, oil and filter change and then off to have some eats. We will get him to sleep and then keep our fingers crossed that he remains that way during our dinner out. Stay tuned.
The day? As planned. el gimnasio and the Mojon. What wasn’t planned was the viento (wind) that was blowing up a sand storm at Mojon. We did our best to keep Max out of it, but when he wanted out of his stroller, we had no option but to keep him covered.
The sand was getting everywhere, so we decided to call it a day after only 90 minutes or so. We hadn’t even eaten the chicken salad sandwiches Bexico had made for our comida!!
Once we have our casa built, a sand storm will not be an issue, as we will move up to the segundo piso patio and chillax from there.
Things to remember during the design stage are sand in the pool and how to keep the sand from blowing into the house, as the side of the casa facing del mar will be all sliding doors.
On our way home, a soldier at Copalita waved us to stop and asked where we were coming from and going. He then asked for 3 passports and we gave him 2 FM3 cards. Rumor has it that the militar cannot ask for passports…but they have on several occasions. Not concerned…
Any way, for the first time ever, we watch as the soldier pulls out a little school note pad and looks up our names. I guess he did not see them in there and let us go. What that notepad is about…that is what we were curious about. Who knows?
Fotos from Mojon.
There were definitely whitecaps out there!!
Our bolsa de hamaca/wind sock/mesmerizing toy for Max
One mesmerized Max...bundled up against the sand storm.
Eco Bex on the basura prowl.
A lot of basura washes up on shore, but there are also some dumb a**es that litter...re blog from a week or so ago.
Once we are at Mojon full time, we will make garbage pick up part of our daily routine.
NOT the right olas for surfing.
Pit stop at Che and then home to have some alberca time and so that Bexico could have her 4pm Skype with RJ.
As for el gimnasio, good to see Hector for the first time in a week or so, but sorry to hear that he will leave town for a few months to try and find some work. He has a rancho y restaurante, but they only pay the bills…nothing extra to put in the banco. Tough times here for many of the peeps.
Fotos from the walk.
Used to be a ferreteria...now it is a comedor.
A lot of signs for one closed camino!!
And to ensure no one drives on the unpaved camion...light posts have been laid out.
Didn't stop this moto...and one guilty looking passenger!!
Elder still thinks this will be paved by lunes.
Anything in a 34 x 32?
Never trust a skinny fresa salesman!! Bob is telling Jose which streets he is going to head to.
Weather...only on a really windy day are there no nubes in the montaña.
Never seen by my eyes...the basket and duster hombre. He is there somewhere.
Jahneht (?) paid $35 pesos for this duster.
Max and I some day?
Max and I some day? ja ja ja
And you are now all caught up.
La cena with Daniel y familia and mañana is all about NFL domingo!! I am taking NE and Giants to win…but hope San Fran beats the Giants.
Have a great Sunday.
Marco, Bexico y Max
