Max Van chilling with his Vitamin Water. Hmmmm? Vitamin Water? Note he is wearing madre's lentes and always, yes always, puts them on upside down.

Buenos noches!! Another full day in the oven known as Huatulco. Another sunny day and lots of humido!!

A late start to the blog update, so I will keep it short (lucky for you?).

A toss and turn noche with a few wake ups and a final wake up at 540am...yikes. No trying to get the lil'man back to sleep as he was wanting a panale pit stop and leche.

Onto the rutinas and while the videos were playing, Poppa was trying to sleep. Tranquilo time, the huge desayunos and then onto a quick prowl for limons and some Max chelas. And after that, we were off to Soriana where the best part of that trip was unloading the groceries into the camioneta verde.

¿Por que? Porque the parking lot is on an incline and as I loaded the groceries into the truck, with Max in the back of the cart, I let it roll a few feet and then made a big deal about it. Max was laughing so hard and after the 3rd or 4th go, he asked for "una mas vez", one more time.

Home for leche, libros and the 70 minuto siesta. And after the siesta was over, I was off to el gimnasio and the familia cooked up their comida before Laura arrived for her second session with lil'Max.

They ate lunch together and spent lots of time working on more palabras en español. They also used the new bilingual coloring book we bought today at Soriana. After clase in the casa was over, they were all off to the alberca for some more hard work. Ja ja ja

I ran into all of them as they headed down to the pool, checked in and said hola hola, before heading upstairs for some casa clean up and some tranquilo time.

Spanish class in the pool was over at 4pm and the familia came up just before 5pm and then headed out for a quick jump on the trampolina in the mall.

Home for dinner...we are not buying club steaks again!! We had bought 4 and the first 2 were tough as leather. I marinated the other 2 today and they were still tough. Good thing we also had some oh so yummy rib eyes to chow down on.

While eating our dessert, we managed a FT con Oma y Opa...muy raro lately as the connections have not been very good.

Onto clean up and then a good bici ride and then home for tina time and we scored with a god bed time as it only took 25 minutos for The Niño Whisperer to get the lil'man to fall asleep in his cuna. Yahoo!!

So...at 9pm on Friday night, you are all caught up.

It was a no foto Friday for me...doph. But do not despair...madre had been taking a ton of fotos on the crappy Sony DSC W730 and out of 300, a few were keepers!! More would have been keepers if not for the quality of the crappy Sony DSC W730!!

Onto the fotos!!

I do not have all the deets, but this looks like a Super Che pit stop.

Max, at Rosario's Palacio, enjoying the company of an older senorita. Oh Max!!

Another day, another pit stop. This time it is front of a new fixture in Huatulco, the camion de fish tacos.

The lil'man has inherited his Poppa's love of motos.

Into the mall where the local (only) movie theatre has purchased this bouncy castle.

Off to the parque where Max y madre convinced the workers to turn on this ride for them. Score!!

Another hot day, and there was a need for a cool down. Best thing to do? Jump in the only working water fountain in town!!

Back to Rosario's for a bounce.

Pool party at the CP alberca and here we have Max sharing some palomitas, popcorn, with another of his MANY amigas!!

In a pool, surrounded by senoritas, and something has caught Max's attention!!

Onto the pool party at Montecito and here we have our lil'daydreamer.

A saline pool means no need for gafas!!

Just floating around with Gwen.

Ahhhhh, un momento romántico?

Nope...Max was playing around and dunking his amiga. Madre Bex to the rescue!!

Ahhhhh...vida es buena.

Always open to a little exploring.

With an amiga of course!!

Always wary of the paparazzi, Max is attempting to shield his amiga from the publicity!!

Misc...one of the "neatest" parts of my day? I told Max it was great that he was sharing his agua with me and he looks at me and says "compartir Poppa", which is "to share" en español!! Good for you my lil'bilingual hijo!!

Ok, time to shut this day down.

Mañana? Bici ride for the lil'man and for me in the afternoon, pool y chelas time with mi amigo Tony!!

And don't forget about race domingo!!

Buen fin de semana y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
