Buenos tardes!! Normally I try to pick a fun foto to start the update with and today I was stuck on two...so you get both. One is pre-tour and the otra is post-swim.

Buenos tardes!! Currently 130pm and the siesta is over, all 70 minutos of it, comida is over and now Baker Max is hard at work in the cocina making panque de platano con su madre. He has just finished using the beater and is very proud to tell us he is not scared, because the noise used to scare him. We tell him he is muy valiente, very brave!!

Bex needed some cook time without the lil'man in the cocina, so he sat with his Poppa and we reviewed palabras en español. He surprised me with the amount of words he truly does know.

Waiting for the muffins and then the familia will head out to the playa, leaving Bubba some race time!! Mean while, Max has done a mop, told his madre he would rather stay home then go to the playa (doph) and is currently building words using some cards we found and wrote letters on.

We are up to moo, poo and Max!!

Ok, the día so far? A good noche that started with the quick'ish bed time. Max was in his cuna at 805pm and I know for a fact he was asleep at 825pm when I woke up from a cat nap. Oh Poppa!!

Two wake ups during the noche and a 540am wake up in the cuna. Too early for this, so I scooped Max up, gave him a panale change and then into my arms he went and we were both lights out until 620am. Score!!

Videos, tranquilo time and then onto the huge desayunos. Madre left us some fresh cut piña, yummy, but Max was not into it today. Doph.

Off we went on a overcast bici tour and pit stopped to buy madre the last jar of Nescafe decaf cafe...con sabor intenso!! I don't think they make it anymore and we knew where the last jars were sold....Issssste!!

Lots of peeps driving by and saying hola hola to Max...of course they were. Onto a visit of the bus station and then home for a good swim.

Upstairs for the leche y libros and then the siesta...and here we are. So, before I start the PVR'd race...onto the fotos!!

Same pose, but some different pre-tour facial expressions.

Smelling the llanta.

Madre had another flat tire and gave the gears (get it? gears? ja ja ja) to the hombres at the tienda de bici. She bought a new rim and they supplied a new llanta and tubo. Max is fascinated with the new llanta and the accompanying smell.

Any of you old enough to remember smelling the freshly copied tests etc that your teacher had just copied using old school carbon paper?

Just because it is an old bus does not mean you cannot dress it up.

One of 100's of autobus turismo that are in town bringing the Chilangos to Huatulco. Good for the merchants as we have not seen summer holidays this busy in a few years.

Nananananananananana...Poppa was upstairs grabbing the swim gear and Max and Batwoman went for a quick prowl and found some lentes on the sidewalk. They were dropped off at the guard's shack.

Off to the CP alberca, but first we need the proper send off for madre.

We seemed to have reached an agreement. I do not take too many fotos and Max will smile for me. Score!!

Here are the pre-swim smiles.

And after a discussion about jumping further away from the edge of the pool, we will see if my communication skills worked.

Success!!

Excuse me Poppa!!

Hey, good news!! The banana muffins turned out yummy!! Felicidades madre y Max!!

Off to watch the boys of Nascar and I will finish this off after tina time.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos tardes!! Currently 725pm, el sol is still up, so it is still buenos tardes!!

Wow, was it another hot afternoon here in Huatulco. How hot?

Yo that to 33,0 feeling like 45,0.

Back to the afternoon....the muffins turned out great and after eating one, Bex y Max headed out to the playa, Santa Cruz I think, and had a great time. There was a nice breeze down there and they also managed to hook up with some more of Max's amigas and they all had some fun playing together.

Me? The heat took it all out of me!! I cleaned the casa and then sat my butt down on the couch and watched the race...and I still have 50 laps left to watch. The goal is to NOT read any sports online, so I do not find out who won the race!!

The familia returned hot and sweaty and after some leche, Max dragged his banco into the cocina and the boys started cooking the pollo.

A good dinner and then we had clean up and a good bici ride. Stinking hot but at least el sol was lower in the sky and we could walk in mainly shaded areas. Max? In no mood for any hola holas and that was too bad as there were some admiring fans that would have loved to have hi m say hi. Oh well.

Home for tina time, leche y libros and the meditation musica has just started up!!

Misc

Our amigo Roman's beer of choice is Tecate and I asked him what the word meant, if anything. He did not know, but I found online that it is a city in the estado of Baja California and then I saw THIS short write up that made me laugh.

And due to some overwhelming requests, we have a short VIDEO of the lil'man being tonto, silly, during desayunos. A small glimpse into breakfast with Max y Bubba.

You are all caught up. Have a great lunes y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
