The day was more was fun then this expression shows!!
Buenos noches!! Another hot day and yet another fun day. And...it was only a 2 timeout day for Max!!
Currently 715pm and tina time is about to wrap up. Dinner was on time but we seemed to have a longer post cena bici tour and took advantage of the cooler (ish) temps...staying out a little longer.
Anoche, it was a good night...a quick bed time, a few stirs, only 2 wake ups and a 620am wake up in a wet cuna. Yikes.
The usual morning for us but for some reason desayunos took a long time and we were way late heading out on our tour.
Maybe it was because we cooked the chili para la cena and the pan frances para la desayunos? Oh...Max LOVED the chili we made for him. No cebolla and a little easier on the spice and he ate all of it. Score!!
We headed out for our bici tour at 930am and had the BEST dance party possibly ever!! We were in SCA and they had some musica set up, so Max, on his bici, cuts a grove right in front of the 3 caja.
They applaud and I ask Max if he wants off the bici and we he got off, the Boys did all the moves!! In front of 3 cashiers and a dozen customers, we did "the move", "raised the roof", "bum shake", "sexy belly" and of course "sexy legs".
We left behind applause and some good laughter, and then we were on our way for a dip in the CP alberca.
A good swim and Max did a ton of underwater swimming. There was also a familia from DF, Chilangos, and they were staring at Max swim and could not believe how old he was. What Bex and I do not enjoy is when peeps see this and then try to goad their niños into doing things like Max. Oh well.
Post swim, it was upstairs for the libros, leche and siesta and that was a chore. Max did not want to be put down by his madre...every time he was asleep and she either lay him down or lay down with him, he sprung up.
Two minutos with The Niño Whisperer solved that!! A short siesta and then madre y Max cooked up their comida, ate lunch, had a dance party and then headed to the CP alberca to await Tony y su familia.
I headed to el gimnasio, grabbed un bolsa de heilo cubitos on the way home and then I too waited for Tony.
The Mexicano way...he arrived at 3pm, 30 minutos late, and with no familia. Huh? Oh...they were at una boda, wedding, and he left them there so he could come spend some time with Marcos!!
The Boys, including Max, had some chelas and then Max impressed the heck out of Tony with his swimming. His daughter turns 4 in a week and she is no where near Max's level in swimming. Sure, she may have ditched panales at age 2, but can she swim underwater? Ja ja ja
Madre y Max left the alberca, got changed and came back to say adios. They were off to see another of Max's amigas and would return at 530pm para chili.
Tony and I chatted it up...his wife is now in school taking a 5 year biz admin program. His daughter broke her ankle jumping off the bed onto the piso. They still own a rancho, but sold all the animales. He drove by his ex-girlfriend the other day...she is still hot. He gave us the recipe for an awesome alcoholic beverage...coco, rubbing alcohol, etc...yikes!! And after chelas, he was headed back to playa Santa Cruz so he could join in a search party for some missing fishermen.
I have always enjoyed my time with this young hombre, and will do my best to stay in touch once we leave Huatulco.
Post chelas, time to head upstairs for some casa clean up and then time to reheat the chili and ta da...la cena.
Clean up, bici ride (there must have been 25 peeps that said hola to Max) and then home for tina time and that is where we started this update.
A lean day on fotos...hey, it happens.
Pre-tour poses.
Max is thinking about a hair cut. Sure he is!! Ja ja ja
The different levels of government spend a fortune patting themselves on the back for their many accomplishments. Here they are prepping for another foto op.
Part of the rutina at Poopie Loopie. Having paid for the pollo, Max awaits his cambio, change.
And that was our sábado!!
Mañana? Sleep in? Ja ja ja...yeah right. I do know it is race domingo and we will see what else we get up to.
Have a great Sunday y hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
