This is what you get (the sonrisa) when the lil'man sleeps with his madre and until 645am!!
Buenos tardes!! With a playa Mojon afternoon and then the go go go of la cena, the tour and bed time...siesta time is the perfect time to start the update.
Bex has a nice break from her trabajo and is taking the weekend off!! She even has a Desperate Housewives of Huatulco outing tonight!!
Any who..she had Max watch last night and after a pretty good bed time, he was awake a few times during the noche...he must have sensed his madre was in charge!!
At 4am or so, we all heard these darn perros barking. They live on the roof of the building across the calle from the CP gates and last night they were having a fiesta. Friggin dogs.
Max was awake...so madre scooped him up, had a little rocking session and then the two of them had some super snugs until 645am. Yikers!!
I awoke at 7am and could not believe I hadn't been woken up by the lil'man...so off to investigate I did. In bed, I find Bex with her ojos closed, and Max with leche in one hand and the iPad in the other!!
I took over Max watch and Bex went to grab some more shut eye. The usual morning rutina for the boys and today it was pan france´ssábado. Score!!
Good breakfast and we also cooked up the molida res for esta noches Bubba Burittos!!
It was already getting humido out there.
A fun tour and it was nice to see everyone that was ready to come to Max's rescue when he took another spill on the bici. At the school yard and he loves the puddles...but keeps trying to make sharp turns in them...and takes a spill.
An hombre on a banco is ready to help, 2 senoritas on another banco tambien, as well as 6 niños who might have been 10 years old or so.
I was farther away from Max then all of them, but I waved them off politely and told them "mirar", to look.
Max gets up and examines himself and the mud on his manos, playera and legs and then looks at me for reassurance. I ask if he is ok and he says "Max is ok" and by then the niños had picked up the bici and were explaining to me what had happened...he turned the handle bars to fast in the agua.
I explain to them that Max tiene only 2 años y 8 meses and they are like...wow.
The hombre that had stood up to help looked pretty impressed and I thanked him again for his concern...while Max was whizzing by us saying "zoom".
Pit stop for some tortillas and then into the alberca we went. Good gafa session, then some swimming and we ended with Max asking "tickle me pleeeeeease", so there was 10 minutos of giggles before we showered, changed and headed to the casa.
Madre came down..she must of heard the giggling...and we all went up for libros, leche and fingers crossed that Max would not take too long to fall asleep porque the 645am wake up.
Good news...Max was pretty much lights out after a rock from his madre (gracias) and at 1230pm, he is still out. Hoping he wakes up in 30-45 minutos and then we will load up and hit the road. Hola hola to some hot dogs on the playa!!
Onto the fotos.
Having pit stopped at the camioneta verde, Max come wheeling around the corner...listo for his tour.
One of the many obstacles on the tour...cajas de cartón of chelas!! Spot the niño.
Racing back to the Poppa and Max is testing out the grip of his llantas. This is kinda what happens in the puddles at the escuela...and then down he goes. Oh Max.
Post spill tanque up. Dirty manos, playera, shorts....
Before heading home, we spotted this hombre selling Cristo. Last night we saw another hombre with a bigger display and Max asked "who this hombre?".
At the pool.
Pool smile or just being tonto?
This is a pool smile!!
Ooooooo says the lil'man.
Checking wind direction.
Listo para lift off.
We have splash down!!
Hasta pronto.
Buenos noches!! Rain delay for the race...doph. It is the 400 in Daytona, the same race Melon and I attended many moons ago. The race is postponed until mañana at 10am HUX time...score!!
Our Saturday afternoon? No man snugs as the lil'man only took an hour or so for his siesta, and we were out the door by 125pm.
Onto playa Mojon and it's huge olas...more on that mañana.
We had some oh so yummy bbq'd salchichas and then "the excitement" happened...more on that mañana.
When we were all caught up "post excitement", we loaded up the camioneta verde and headed home. Bex y Max had a dip in the CP alberca while Bubba did clean up and heated up la cena.
Three tired and sore peeps ate their cena and then after a quick clean up, Max still had energy enough for a bici tour.
It was a 25 minute ride and then it was home for tina time and bed time and I am happy to report that he was POOPED and was lights out and in his cuna by 820pm...30 minutos after The Niño Whisperer had come in to close the show.
Bex is out with her amigas and I am about to hit the sack.
Check back mañana to hear about the excitement from playa Mojon as well as see the 25 or so fotos I took.
Have a great domingo y hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
