A rainy day yawn!!

Buenos tardes. Media día has rolled around, and el sol is finally peeking out as well. After a few big downpours this morning, el sol will bring out the humido...yikes.

And where is mi familia at noon? Can you say "super snug siesta"? Bex put the lil'man down for his siesta, and looks like she rocked herself to sleep as well. She had a great nights sleep, much needed, and feels a little better today, but she is sure she has a cold of some sort.

So, I let them sleep away and I type away. A ton of fotos to follow...

A super noche for the boys!! Due to Bex's workload, I have had the noche duty and I am happy to report that we are making progress!! A little longer bed time then Tuesday night, but the lil'man fell asleep in his cuna and on his own, by 830pm.

One wake up at 1230am for some manos, and then lights out for both of us until 615am. Super score!!

Onto the rutina and after videos and tranquilo time, the boys had their desayunos and cooked up some extra huveos revueltos para madre. Scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese on top and a side of ketchup...one of Max's favoritos!!

The torrential lluvia stopped shortly before our prowl and we made it a block or so before some light showers returned. On went the capa and then we did our best to stay under awnings, all the way to Oxxo so we could sit in the cars!!

Onto the zocalo and kiosko...hola hola to staying seco, dry, and as we were about to head to the iglesia and then home, the rain stopped. Nice!!

Put stop at SCA for even more huevos and then home for the leche, libros y siesta. And as you are all caught up...onto the fotos.

I saw this expression for most of the prowl and I asked Max if he was sad and his reply, with a little grin was "I am happy". Ok, if you say so.

Max in his prowling gear. We saved the new shoes for a dry day.

Max sensed that the lluvia was to return.

And ta-da, it did. We came to this street corner and Max wanted to stand and watch the puddles on the calle and the taxis driving by. We were here, under an awning, for 5 minutos.

Tired from all that standing around, it was time for a pit stop.

Onto the cars at Oxxo and riding "in" the cars is no longer the goal.

Phew...made it.

The foto is a little dark...but it is a sonrisa!!

What...another sonrisa tambien, as well?

Staring at the paraguas...thinking about how much fun he could have with it. Ahhhhh...no.

I asked Max about this face, and he said he was being silly.

Oh, all those pit bulls we see are just being silly!!

But after a breathing session, the Hulk has disappeared and Max Van has returned.

From ayer...I was off to the CP alberca and Marcos called me over to look into a water tank at the base of one of the buildings.

Small, but it has dientes!!

Not sure what is more raro...a snake in the water tanque, or a Mexicano smiling for a foto!!

Marcos is a nice hombre, muy amable, and has done some of the odd repairs around our casa. He has a 1 year old niño, named Marcos Jr of course.

And from the crapy Sony DSC W730 camera, Bex has had some luck taking a few good fotos. Lots of good attempts, but many did not turn out due to the quality of the crappy Sony DSC W730!!

From a few days ago, damage from a large tormenta, storm.

Scoping out the partido on the playa.

I was given many abrazos y besos for buying this regalo para Max when we were last at Sorianas.

All he needs is a new Hotwheels!!

Locals have invaded Max's playa!!

The previously mentioned partido de futbol.

Max was in charge of returning the errant balóns.

Some Canada Day hijinks?

In need of a bebida!!

Thirsty and having the internal debate...leche vs bubbles.

Bubbles won.

Ok, hope you enjoyed the foto show. 1235pm and the familia will be out for another 15-30 minutos. Bex was going to do some work...but fell asleep. Maybe the boys will be hanging out for the afternoon? Stay tuned.

I will finish this off esta noche.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!! Well, that bed time took only 35 minutos for The Whisperer!! Score!! Asleep at 830pm and in his cuna...phew.

As for the rest of our día...once the famila awoke from their siesta, they had their comida, did a Poopie Loopie run and snuck in some vanilla helado. Wait a minute!!

I was off to el gimnasio and upon my return home at 3pm, I took over Max watch so Bex could get caught up on her oficina work.

The boys had a long and hot bici tour...fotos to come mañana. The sorpresa was a pit stop into the fire station and as we arrived I asked Max if he would like to go look at the camions, his reply was "I would love to".

A tour around the zocalo and then into the CP alberca to cool our jets. Madre came down at 430pm or so and the two of them hit up the parque before grabbing some sopa de pollo and heading home para la cena.

Post swim, I headed upstairs and after some quick clean up, it was time to get Max and my dinner ready. Not a big production as it was the left over meatballs from ayer!!

After dinner we had the clean up, a familia bici tour and then home for the tina time and bed time...and that is where we re-started the update.

So...mañana is Soriana viernes and then onto the rest of our usual Friday. Looks like hot dog sábado at playa Mojon!!

Have a great viernes y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
